Firstly the staff were very nice but sorry we felt very misled, the hotel is very run down our room really needs closing and re decorated in fact the whole hotel needs redecorating, there is no restaurant so your only option is to eat out which is expensive that fact should have been made clearer so we had to pay for all meals. Also remember we paid top price for this but eastbourne was lovely

The hotel room was adequate for a short stay (as I stayed 2 days) however, the beds are not comfortable and you can feel the springs in the mattress. It was quite hot in the room so we asked for a fan and got one, however it wasn’t very powerful so made little to no difference. The hotel staff were friendly and kind. The hotel itself is a bit outdated but adequate. The showers are quite small so if your a larger person, you most likely wouldn’t be able to get into it.

Room was adequate. Sheets and bathroom clean. Hot with no fan/air con. Small room with tea making equipment. Only one pillow which was very thin. Signage needs to be clearer - I ended up in the basement with no idea where I was and how to find reception. No wifi in rooms. Toiletries very limited. Parking was £2.50 for a 24 hour permit but there was nowhere to park near the hotel when I went back after my evening out. I was only staying one night so I did not bother to complain. Staff were eager to please- but the hotel is in need of refurb

Just to be clear, this isn't a five star hotel. Then again, for the price, it was excellent. The staff were very helpful (even down to recommendations for nearby restaurants) and the hotel provided exactly what we were looking for - a basic, clean, comfortable room for the night. Would definitely stay here again.
