We tried to sign in on line but the link didn't work. We had to complete the sign in which took ages. The screen form was certainly not user friendly. No address look up from a post code, didn't recognise England as a country, or UK or Great Britain. What a welcome to the hotel! Room was ok but no opening windows so it was like a sauna. There was a fan in the room. Breakfast was excellent made better by the attention given by Michael and Lorraine. If you need a bus Lorraine knows the best way to get from A to B.

Booked a small double room prior to a theatre show but when checked in and went to room small double room was tiny 3/4 bed against the wall no room to move if 2 people in there and very run down . Carpets looked as if never been cleaned and bathroom even tho clean. Was very dated. Cracked floor tiles old bath . Would never stay again and finding booking with hotel.com getting the least desired room in hotel

Me and a good friend were away for a weekend in Newcastle. We have stayed here quite a few times. Staff are always friendly and very helpful. Any requests I made were dealt with efficiently. Breakfast is good but a bit pricey in my opinion. We liked our room but we were put on the very top floor with many stairs. Overall we were very happy with our stay. Thank you
