Hart’s Hotel in Nottingham is a comfortable, clean, welcoming hotel in the centre of Nottingham. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the gentleman on night duty, I think his name is Simon. Parking is available at the back of the hotel, by arrangement with the desk staff. The hotel’s views over Nottingham are amazing and the ground floor rooms have direct access to the garden. It is a wonderful hotel.

Lovely hotel, staff very friendly and obliging, very limited car parking spaces not enough for the size of the hotel, rooms very nice, quality tea and coffee, nice biscuits and toiletries in bathroom, though bathroom blind was disgustingly old with stains on and falling apart ( room 18) easy to turn off radiator in room, beds and pillows comfortable. The restaurant however is beyond pricey, I travel frequently with work and have never paid £36 for a piece of lamb no bigger than my fist a few smashed potatoes and a handful of peas, equally have never had to pay a supplement for my breakfast to have a small portion of smoked salmon! Would I stay again? Only if I could park early enough in the day to guarantee me a parking space and wouldn’t eat in the hotel as its very clearly a right rip off.

The room was lovely, not overly spacious, but enough for two. Had booked a garden room, made it so much better. So plenty of outside space to sit in the sun, and have a lovely coffee listening to the birds and watching squirrels. The staff were absolutely brilliant, so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing, being vegi, they catered for our needs. Got two vegi sausage on our plates, then help yourself to mushrooms, beans, tomatoes, scrambled eggs, and bacon and meat sausages there too. Free tea milk, and filter coffee in room, replenished daily, along with a bottle of filtered water. Mini bar in fridge, at a cost. The house keeper ladies were amazing, so polite, and kept our room clean and tidy. Would highly recommend!!!!

We were only there for one night but the hotel was very central for us as we were seeing a show at Centrpoint. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were booked in for breakfast which was the usual sort of meal in hotels and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The only downside was parking as it was very small but we managed to squeeze into a place. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

A nice stay in general, but had an issue with the hot water having black bits of something in it, when I ran a bath, meaning it was unusable. Mostly disappoined with the response when I reported it, which was simply that it would be looked I to after my stay. Nice hotel but less than stella service.

The location of the hotel was ideal. The room was on the small size. The carpet in the room had stain marks, which we had not seen on the numerous visits before. Also the floor outside the room has hard floors so you could clearly hear the cleaning trolley pass our room. The door to the staircase banged when people passed through which was heard whilst in the room. Overall was a good stay and the bed and pillows were excellent

Stayed at Harts for 1 night with my daughter for an event at Motorpoint Arena. The area is lovely and quiet but close enough to the centre, which is great. Despite booking a superior room, I can’t see what was superior about it. It was small, roasting hot and needs some tlc. My fault for not realising they didn’t have air con, as apparently their ventilation system of windows being able to open etc means it’s not needed, but when the temperature outside is roasting hot air, even at night, then no amount of opening windows and a fan is going to cool things down, so a bad nights sleep for us. Ripped blind in the bathroom, bathroom not cleaned overly well, rusty towel rail etc. Staff were friendly enough, especially the men in the bar, they were very helpful. Breakfast was ok, again I couldn’t get excited. I had a small full English and it was only just warm, not hot. Prob wouldn’t return as at over £200 - it isn’t value for money at all.

After two and a half weeks on the road Hart's was a breath of fresh air for my last night away from home. All the staff were great and the hotel is lovely. I especially enjoyed a quiet drink in the garden after dinner. Dinner and breakfast were great, expensive but, the quality of the food and the cooking justify's the cost. The only very minor issue is the lack of air conditioning in the room so it was on the warm side. However, I stayed during the tail end of a heat wave. I'm assuming that with normal UK temperatures everything would be OK. I would stay again without hesitation.

I was extremely impressed with the staff at this hotel. Everyone, from the night receptionist, the restaurant manager to the young woman serving breakfast. They were all courteous, friendly and really helpful. We loved the view from our rooms across Nottingham and enjoyed the breakfast after a good night's sleep.

We absolutely loved our stay from beginning till almost the end. When we arrived we were told by the male staff member that breakfast was included. At check out that turned out not to be the case. We should have checked ourselves, but the insincere apology from the manager is the reason why we left somewhat disappointed.

Stay was good but we are unhappy with a very small request we made . My wife was not well and not allowed to eat food outside so we brought food for her which we wanted to heat up and use their microwave for hardly a minute which they politely denied . Common sometimes situations are more important than rules .

Check in was a trying experience! Not enough staff on duty, the one person on reception seemed unsure of the process and not very confident meaning a growing que to check in. The hotel car park is small for the number of rooms resulting in people being charged the parking fee to park in the car park across the road which was not owned by the hotel and part of a building site. The hotel car park is small for the number of rooms resulting in people being charged the parking fee to park in the car park across the road which was not owned by the hotel and part of a building site. Lovely hotel but disappointing breakfast for someone who is gluten free. There is limited option that is therefore expensive. This could be easily fixed with gluten free cereal, gluten free veg sausage and a separate toaster so bread could actually be toasted. Otherwise stay was very pleasant.

Lovely hotel, tucked away in quiet corner of the city with stunning views, yet close to the city. Staff were all great - we arrived early morning and the promised ev charging space was ready for us and then we found our room was also ready, which was really helpful. Lovely hotel, staff very friendly and obliging, very limited car parking spaces not enough for the size of the hotel, rooms very nice, quality tea and coffee, nice biscuits and toiletries in bathroom, though bathroom blind was disgustingly old with stains on and falling apart ( room 18) easy to turn off radiator in room, beds and pillows comfortable. The restaurant however is beyond pricey, I travel frequently with work and have never paid £36 for a piece of lamb no bigger than my fist a few smashed potatoes and a handful of peas, equally have never had to pay a supplement for my breakfast to have a small portion of smoked salmon! Would I stay again? Only if I could park early enough in the day to guarantee me a parking space and wouldn’t eat in the hotel as its very clearly a right rip off.

The room had everything i needed. Bed extremely comfortable. I opted for the breakfast, the service was exceptional. The two staff working went above and beyond to help all guests in any way the could. Really polite and friendly.

Hotel was nice and we had a nice view of the garden and city. Restaurant was cosy but not a great experience, we got seated and then just left! Had to ask for a drinks menu, then didn’t get the food menu for around 20 minutes. They forgot to bring them bread until our food arrived and I sent back my starter as the only way I can describe it was the prawns smelt of rotten fish. I was still charged for these which I wouldn’t have expected to be in a good establishment. The main course was divine as were the desserts. Room was tiny and no air conditioning but had everything else you would need. Breakfast very poor if having continental.

Really average overrated. Parking lot is tiny and nearest NCP charges £14 at a reduced rate. Bowl of soup and sea bass main with water = £45 which is a complete rip off. Won’t return!

The hotel was very nice. We had a garden room with access to the back patio area and the views were stunning. Really quiet and peaceful but also not at all far from the main centre. Staff were very polite and welcoming. Will definately go again.

I stay here when I can, when I have to travel to Nottingham, great location and staff are always friendly and helpful. Make sure you book a garden room, they are excellent, and the breakfast is brilliant. My only wish would be they have a iron and iron board in the room.
