Great location for my trip, easy access to motorway , and bus stop into Nottingham centre just outside the hotel ( friendliest bus drivers I’ve ever met!) which run frequently. Easy parking. Friendly receptionist welcome, with a smile and Hilton cookie biscuit ☺️ The room was lovely , firm bed, huge telly, clean and modern. Charging platform and USB ports, which was great , good free WiFi. Good lighting great shower. Only downside, some noisy Canadian Geese, in the pond/ lake in the hotel grounds started ‘squawking’ at 4.30am..constant. Not much can be done, but apart from that a very good stay, happy customer, just bring ear plus for the geese!

Nice hotel. The restaurant has a good choice and rooms have good facilities. Have stayed a number of times and as a hotel the main rooms are looking a little tired in parts. Bed was a little hard personally but everyone has their own choice. Convenient location. Plenty of parking.

Great hotel in a convenient location within Nottingham, not far from City Centre. Close to the M1, was really easy to find. Free parking was a massive plus, with loads of bays both at the front and back of the hotel. Check in was very straightforward and was also offered an Digital Keycard to access my room from the Hilton App. The room was very clean and tidy with sufficient amenities. Only criticism here is, it would have been nice to have some free bottled water in the room on arrival. Housekeeping was really on top of it and kept our room pristine during our stay, replacing bedding and towels etc. Would definitely stay here again.

Didnt use gym,WiFi very stable. Staff very pleasant and knowledgeable. Beautiful building,solid feeling,quiet and peaceful. Had a couple of drinks in the bar and that was a relaxing area(loved the jazz music)

We really enjoyed our stay for our daughter’s graduation. The room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. Excellent bathroom and shower with lovely Crabtree and Evelyn products there for you to use. Enjoyed a lovely breakfast both days. Lots of free onsite parking. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel looked fairly new and well appointed. Staff were all friendly and welcoming - particularly the breakfast staff. Room was nice although not quite as clean as it could have been - stain on carpet, mildew on shower seals, stain in toilet bowl. Bed itself was badly marked and stained on the side. Nothing disastrous or making us want to move rooms, but could be better. Would stay again

On arrival we were told we had been upgraded to a superior room in the ‘new wing’. We had booked a superior room anyway. The room was a lot smaller than expected and can’t have been that new as the grouting on the tiles in the bathroom was mouldy. It seemed the old wing was being used as temporary housing for families. The bathroom itself was tiny. If you wanted to use the sink, you had to close the door. This wasn’t ideal if you had used the shower because the bathroom was hot and steamed up. There was no dressing table, just a full length mirror with a plug situated too far away for the hairdryer provided. The room itself was boiling. There was air con but that didn’t work. Our room was on the ground floor with massive windows but all were locked. The room looked onto the car park and main entrance so the curtains had to remain closed. On our first morning, housekeeping knocked on the door at 8:30am to ask if we would like our room cleaned. Breakfast on the first morning was terrible. Everything was dried / shrivel up, even the beans had no sauce in them. The second morning was better. After staying in many Doubletree hotels before, this place was a big disappointment.

Room was spacious and very clean would love to know where you get your pillows. Breakfast was not great. Bacon actually cold. When there were no fried eggs the staff kindly advised us they were on the way. Seconds later they were served directly on my plate perfectly cooked. It was very busy and people are greedy!!! Coffee lovely. Had an amazing nights sleep. Great location.

The room ventilation didn't work, so it was airless and like a sauna. They said they had no other rooms, so we barely slept. They gave us free breakfast as an apology, but I would have preferred a night's sleep. For what they charge, they could afford a maintenance check on the room before letting it out. Very disappointed.

Booked two rooms and air conditioners in both were set to only work for 1 to two minutes at a time. Rooms smelt, hot and stuffy, windows old annd only open a crack but heavy car traffic outside anyways and grounds poorly kept.

The hotel service was fantastic; I checked in after midnight and was greeted with a smile. However, the sofa bed was uncomfortable due to the bars at the sides and end, and there weren't enough pillows. On the positive side, the room was clean. I did find the breakfast to be overpriced.

The experience we had was very positive. The man on reception was very efficient and friendly. He was extremely helpful and kept our luggage and did the check in for us as we arrived early and wouldn't be back till later. The room had everything we needed very clean a good size and the shower powerful. The breakfast was plentiful and a good variety. All the staff were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend staying at the Doubletree. And we will certainly be back when we visit Nottingham.

We booked the room for a trip to the Download Festival in Donington. Due to traffic issues we arrived extremely late but still received an excellent welcome with complimentary welcome cookies which were gratefully received. My brother is diabetic and on the last morning he suffered a hypo brought on mostly by the extreme heat. The staff who assisted my neice were extremely professional, knowledgeable about what to do and very reassuring to her. I couldn't recommend this hotel and the wonderful staff any more in l tried. They were top class and l will certainly be using them again.

The welcome treat was not only for the guests but also our friends who drop us at the hotel. Denis, at the reception desk, was very helpful and acted straight away when we had to cancel our further stay due to unforeseen circumstances

Hotel was fine for what it was. Only issues were we got there at 15:00 to be told the room wasn't ready (check in 15:00) so was told to slowly walk up to allow time for the manager to check the room. The big issue was the next morning around 08:00 someone tried to get into our room. They had successfully opened the door but luckily we had the latch on. We were told at the reception desk this was the cleaner and they thought the room was empty. This is totally unacceptable and this is a failure of management not giving proper instructions as to what rooms need to be cleaned. We even had a sign on the door saying do not disturb. Would come back, but only if absolutely desperate.

Really poor experience with the staff at this hotel. The TV within the room allows no access to plug in a HDMI cable to connect your laptop, you can only watch the free channels on the tv and the tv isn’t a smart tv. If you want to watch films you have to pay additional and for brand such as Hilton this is very poor and disappointing, when we asked the staff what could be done the were rude and not every helpful saying the hotel is as it claims. The hotel manager advised that we could checkout but that’s all he could do to help. The lady on the front desk was rude upon check in and overall very dissapointed with the way we have been treated. For a double tree Hilton I won’t be visiting here again due to how unhelpful the staff were. We could smell cannabis in the corridor and had to report it twice until it was dealt with. Very disappointed.

I booked a room at the Nottingham Double Tree for son’s graduation ceremony on 29 July. This was done at least two months in advance as I was expecting demand to be high that day, it being graduation day. On the eve of my travel I got a call from the Reservations Manager to say that due to high demand they’d had to move me to the Nottingham Belfry. There hadn’t been high demand when I booked the room. Anyway, after ignoring my question about a refund I had little choice other than to check in to the Belfry. The desk clerk asked me if I wanted an upgrade which I agreed to on the condition it was the same cost, he said it was. However, I was subsequently charged an additional £40 for an upgrade. The other £10 that was pre-authorised on my card has also disappeared. I tried to get this cleared up but to no avail. In summary, my original room was resold to profit from the extra demand that night and I was palmed off to the Belfry who then ripped me off. The whole experience was grubby. Would not recommend either hotel if you’re looking for good service.

Came to Nottingham on a business trip. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel room. The ceilings were tall, the room was very comfortable and well appointed. I had dinner at the hotel and my meal was very good. I would definitely stay again.

Our welcome was lovely with a warm cookie and our toom was upgraded to one of the new rooms. The room was great, although the bathroom was a squeeze. The only thing to bring my review down from 5 stars was the breakfast. The staff at breakfast were not very welcoming and we had to ask about food being topped up. We arrived at 1030 with 30 mins of breakfast service still to go and lots of the pastries cold meats and other bits were being topped up.
