Great hotel in a nice location. Nice breakfast but make sure you pre book it the night before as £15 or £18:50 each on the day. Had a problem with the lights in our room that turned out to be a faulty master switch by the bed that must have had a loose connection. Strangely when notifying reception about the issue, he pulled out a photo of said switch and said is this it😂 so must be a common problem with the rooms. Overall the beds were very comfortable and spacious room with all that you need. Staff were friendly but our favourite was the strawberry blonde waitress in the restaurant who was without doubt the happiest miserable looking person we've ever met.

We wanted a one night stay for a visit to Motorpoint Arena. We arrived early, before check in open, but asked reception if it was ok to leave the car and check in later. We were told no problem parking and if we could wait about 30mins they would put our room on priority then we could check in. We were then given clear instructions on how to take the 5/10 minute walk to the tram stop. Later that evening we had a very nice meal. Breakfast in the morning was excellent everything seemed to be fresh. At every point of contact with staff they were very friendly and helpful. With the hotel being nicely air conditioned, free parking and convenient to the tram excellent for a trip to Nottingham.

Stayed 1 night

I checked out a day early due to a oil spill outside of the hotel, all the road was closed and the traffic situation at the roundabout where the hotel is was grid locked, I was late for several business meetings due to this. As this situation was prolonged I decided to check out a day earlier to move closer to Nottingham centre as I could not be late again the next day for important meetings. Upon check out the reception stated that they would reimburse the last night, as I stay in Doubletree Hiltons a lot and being a Honors member this was appreciated but I have since received a text message stating the opposite that I will not receive the 1 night refund. I will not stay at this hotel again when on business in Nottingham. Room 207 has large fans outside making a racket too.
