Not sure about your last question as there was just a line of 7 dots for type of parking, and one answer (street parking)??? The website said the hotel had carparking but the link to 'parking information' did not work. A little misleading as after I had booked I found out that car parking was a private car park across the road at a discounted rate of £8 per 12 hours, £16 a night. The staff were very good and explained all at check-in. The hotel needs to be soundproofed as there was noise coming in from the corridor in addition to street noise. And we were on the 5th floor! Bed was comfy, the bathroom was roomy but lacked a low light, so the whole room was floodlit if you used the loo during the night. The heating was a bit hit and miss but it did heat up the room. However, we did turn it off overnight as it was quite noisy. Wifi was good.

Room was very basic, but main med was comfortable’ shower good. A bit dated and needed a plug near kettle rather than having to use right next to bed. Room smelt musty. Needed some kind of air freshener. Parking was very expensive despite having a reduced rate- £8 per 12 hours over night.

Polite friendly staff Spotless room very comfortable Very good value especially booking at the last minute like I did Bar open 24/7 and food available 24/7 even though it is not a major hotel none of that self-check in nonsense they had a real human there to do it for you breakfast was available at the hotel but there are loads of places nearby in the town centre you can get food There is a Tesco Express right next door Maybe a bit dated but I like older places better in lots of ways because they do not have new fangled taps and all this rubbish there was a load of scaffolding outside the hotel and you cannot see what it is and I only found out because the cab driver knew it I did not like the fact that you had to use your room key card to operate the lift when you were inside it, it made me panic a bit in case it didn't work bathroom was in this kind of pod thing so there was a fairly large step down and this made me a bit anxious I was going to forget about it and fall down it you could probably get a room without one of these if you asked for an accessible room

Easy quick check in. Nice reception. Room clean and comfortable although a bit tired in places. It’s a city centre hotel right on a tram line so some overnight noise but not intrusive. Parking via Lace Market car park directly opposite which is a bit small and tight in places, especially on the ramps. Validated 24h parking was £16 (which is cheap for anywhere other than the station in Nottingham).

Another £15 for parking so factor that in. Clean room, hotel and facilities. Notable tram noise from outside. Secure lift access. Shower head holder was busted. Tea n coffee in room, bar downstairs. Bathroom small but adequate for my needs.

The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and received no apology or explanation as to what went on (this was at 4:30am in the morning). Our second key card also didn’t work which we asked to be fixed twice before it actually got fixed. The beds were comfortable, but the bathroom was quite small. One of the lifts was out of order the entire time we were there which felt like it wasn’t a priority to the staff at all.

Our stay was alright so I paid £20 extra for late check out to get woken up anyways to doors slamming from cleaners at 9am so I was abit upset. There were splatters up the walls looked like Coca Cola or sick bit disturbing the staff were absolutely brilliant really friendly & lovely unfortunately I am not one of the people who go & complain to scared & nervous to so nothing got fixed but overall was a good time fun experience but would not like to go back

The Staff were helpful Checking in was easy. Room was on top floor. Two lifts to use. The room was nice the hotel was clean. Nice bathroom and the shower was easy to use and hot water. Breakfast was very good and it was even quite warm under the infa red lights. Thick bread for the toaster, Muffins, Croissant's, Only one coffee machine but it was not busy. and all the staff very nice. But on checking the mattress it was dirty and flea ridden and dust mites. So i always take a can of Raid fly killer with me when i travel so off with the sheets and pull the bed out and the carpet underneath the head board was dirty so this was spayed with raid as was as much of the mattress i could from both sides. Then opened window and had to buy a mattress protector from TK Max at £15 King size

The room was an excellent size and loved the shower room fitted into the corner. Everything within easy reach. Best shower room of any hotel I have stayed in. Room had two gremlins with faulty lights which I reported on leaving! Also the TV reception was missing quite a few channels(No signal). Breakfast not great even at reduced saving rate. Only the sausage was the redeeming factor. Room was serviced quite well, an excellent size and overall good value.

No air conditioning!!! Booked 2 rooms and saw the air conditioning facility offered. Both rooms had no air conditioning, but had an unit that had a fan blowing warm air when I wanted cold air. One room had a tiny bit of breeze coming through the slits allowed through the window, the other room had no air coming through at all Spoke to the staff who mentioned that the air conditioning would work if the temperature rose above 22c, but it was about 25c and it didn’t. No alternative was offered. Paid £15 for parking and £12 for breakfast. Sent a message on WhatsApp to ask for decaffeinated tea or coffee in the room at 9pm. Message was acknowledged and responded to at 6.39am the next morning. Pitiful!!

Excellent central location, the room was small (I have a mobility scooter)with a modular bathroom which worked perfectly. Tea/coffee and kettle provided. May seem a bit weird but couldn’t work out why they didn’t provide a rubbish bin in the living area, although one was provided in the bathroom. The tram stops and bus stops are practically outside the front door.

My Room was nice. View Fantastic. Buffet Breakfast Perfect, Friendly Lady Staff Member. One of the Lifts got stuck a few times while in use. My Key Card did not work so had to get it checked out at Reception Desk, then they worked fine. It was Noisy outside with Folk till 4.30am, to be expected of course, but managed to Sleep at 3.30am. On Checking in at 3pm I thought the Male Staff Member could have been a little more friendly, a Smile or 2, a brighter Welcome would have been nice. On the whole My Stay was Lovely & I would come back in the Future. Thankyou For My Stay🙂🌈

The room was nice however the bed really let it down. I forgot to take a picture but it appeared to be a normal base with another base on top and then just a thin mattress topper on top of that. This ‘mattress’ was so thin that if it was sold to you as a mattress, you’d laugh and ask where the other half was. It felt like I was sleeping on a rock hard floor, it was so uncomfortable and I was very sore in the morning. Also, there wasn’t a bin at all in the room. There was a small one in the bathroom but there wasn’t one in the room. I had some rubbish and felt quite guilty just leaving it piled up in a corner, a bin to put the rubbish in is definitely needed in the room. The shower was lovely and easy to use. It initially looked quite small but it had deceptively quite a lot of room.

Even thou we checked in and pre-allocated our rooms because we could not go to our rooms as they had not be cleaned we told the receptionist we would be very late as going to a 50th Birthday. When we got to the hotel they had sold our pre-paid rooms. They then tried to get us in to another hotel but nothing was available. So they taxied us out to Derby. The taxi finally arrived and we got to Derby at 4am in the morning and the replacement hotel would have given faulty towers a run for its money! Yea they refunded our rooms but it totally ruined the weekend. What gets me there was no Manager, Deputy Manager or Duty Manager and we had to wait until Monday for all this to be sorted. Refunding the rooms went know where near making me happy.

We have stayed at this hotel several times now. Every visit has been a pleasant experience. Staff are most friendly and helpful. Rooms are always clean and very inviting. If you want extra sheets, pillows or towels just ask, nothing is ever too much trouble. Subject to availability, you can also choose your room, we chose one on the quieter side of the hotel. Overall a very comfortable hotel, whenever we go to Nottingham we have always stayed here and will continue to do so.

We made our booking long before the time and checked in online. We arrived at the hotel but to be told they are overbooked and they have to take us to another hotel out of town. We came for my daughter graduation and plan to stay close to the university. We need to be compensated. This is unfair

Did the job for a short stay in Nottingham. Hotel was clean throughout. French style single beds so smaller than average. Paid parking opposite is convenient. Staff very friendly and helpful with one exception, the security guard on duty at night. I'm not sure of the necessity of this asides from aggressively telling hotel residents that they need to put their food away until you get to the room. This is probably something for the hotel to review.

Location is brilliant very central only problem it was so noisy trams and revellers till early hours. Had to move rooms cos it smelt of sick.the staff were really nice and moved us straight away but other room was a little smelly maybe the cleaner could get some frabeeze.

Great location right beside the Lace Market tram stop with easy access to many restaurants near Market Square and also Tesco Express and Sainsbury Local just round the corner! Clean functional rooms with wifi make it a suitable stay for travellers.

Hotel is in the heart of Nottingham and a great location. Tram and nightlife noise was very loud and did not make the stay a great experience. Take ear plugs if staying in the rooms facing the front of the property

A very nice hotel, excellent service rooms very clean and breakfast was very good. The only draw back was first night we were on the first floor at the front of the building and it was very noisy with trams and revellers. The next day they moved us to the third floor at the back of the hotel and a quiet night sleep. Will be going back as it is close to all amenities.

Stayed in this hotel a couple of times. The position couldn’t be better just 5 mins walk to St Peter’s square and other town centre shops, got plenty of pubs and eating places on door step and the train station is less than 10 mins walk. Hotel isn’t anything fancy but is clean and confy

The location was perfect for my trip. I travelled to Nottingham by train for an event at the Motorpoint arena. The Ibis is about 5 minutes walk from the Motorpoint, and less than 10 minutes from the train station. The hotel is exactly what I've come to expect from Ibis - clean, comfortable room and friendly, helpful staff. I would reccomend this property for anyone needing a hotel in the area

Stayed here after a concert with another member of my family. It was a clean and tidy hotel, the room was a fair size although it could have been a little bigger. The breakfast was lovely, although maybe a little pricey.

Speedy check in, floors laminated so seems much cleaner than carpeted hotels, window opened well and shut out street noise when shut. Air con worked well and easy to use. Big shower cubicle. Breakfast was amazing so much choice and small details like cinnamon or turmeric, sunflowerseeds, freshly baked baguette, beautiful strong cheddar cheese, cucumber as well as toast, jams, spreads, hot full English, cereals, juices and coffees. Car parking overnight was still £16 even with the validation discount. Was hoping for a reduced rate!
