Really nice hotel. Very convenient with a decent sized room. Only a 20 min walk to the city centre and right next to retail parks where there were supermarkets and fast food chains. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only issue was with the a/c which didn’t work properly from our room and we had to keep calling down to reception for them to change the temperature (it wouldn't go below 23 when we tried to set the temperature from our room and even after they changed it the lowest it could go was 19, which is still pretty poor). Shower pressure also not the greatest but this seems to be the case with most hotels. Hotel does have a (tiny) gym which wasn't stated when i booked it so that was a pleasant surprise.

We had an executive room which was very nice. Breakfast was good. Negatives: there was a function going on in the hall and the music was so loud I couldn't hear the TV The fire alarm kept going off every 5 minutes for about 2 hours with false alarms which made it difficult to relax

Lovely staff even though we arrived at 2 in the morning! Restaurant staff very accommodating at breakfast - excellent buffet and cooked-to-order items too. All this whilst some major refurbishment taking place - well done to everybody there.

Nice comfortable hotel. Close to Nottingham city centre and the University campus. Amongst supermarkets and shopping retail park. Restaurant currently being refurbed so out of use. Breakfast was a little chaotic served in a small room but tables there and some in the bar

The room had dirty bedsheet with a stain, we asked for them to be changed. But as no housekeeping staff was available we ended up changing it ourselves. Not happy with the service.

Staff were lovely and all smiles and chatty very helpful. Probably only good thing about the stay Room dated, doors slam throughout the night, blankets had stain and bathroom black mildew/mould on floor I mean it’s ok for a work trip but probably would stay at this one again . Stayed at the one In Birmingham which was a lot cleaner

The room was very nice, spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. It was especially quiet given its location. There was poo marks inside the toilet and hairs in the shower and only one used toilet roll. Staff apologised, cleaned the bathroom and provided free meals for the family which we were very grateful for.

Whilst the hotel is clean and modern, our room was only a few steps away from the noisy bar with an open door between the room corridor and the bar. The air conditioning unit started making strange noises every hour, for 20 minutes at a time, from 4 in the morning. When we complained about it in the morning we were told that there was nothing to be done and we should have complained in the middle of the night, when we clearly were in no mood to walk around the hotel at that time of night.

A gloomy, inconveniently arranged room. Annoying placement of electricity outlets and light switches in the room meant nothing was where you needed it. The lights were so dim in both the bathroom and the bedroom, I ended up using my phone flash light to put make up on.

Decent sized room, great bathroom, very clean. I would recommend asking for a room away from the lifts or above the kitchen. We were in room 117 opposite the lifts. They ping every time someone comes or goes and people are coming and going till 2 am. Also being above the kitchen, you have constant extractor fan noise. I booked the hotel because it had parking, and was surprised to find you had to pay on arrival. I probably missed the very small print saying this. It was £10 overnight. We ate in the restaurant as we arrived late, basic burgers/pasta/pizza. We all had burgers which were very well done, bordering on the burnt side. Would I stay here again? Yes, I probably would, but I would probably also look for a hotel slightly further out that has free parking. Would I eat in the restaurant again? Probably not. Overall an okay stay, nothing special but nothing to put me off coming back again if the price was right.

The room is clean and new , cafe downstairs is very nice and cozy. Bed is comfy. The room has loud noisy because of the heat.. that’s a bit annoying. Otherwise in general it is a nice place to stay.

Hotel in a great location for where we were going, lovely room very clean and comfy bed. We were woken at 5am by a door being slammed, then continually for the next few hours with doors slamming. Housekeeping were very loud in the corridor, even though we had a do not disturb sign on our door.

Check up lasted forever due to the "necessity" to do a pre-authorisation on my card and the terminal was very very slow. After a long trip this can be quite annoying specially if you already booked everything on line...

Honestly we had such an amazing time. The staff downstairs were absolutely incredible; special mention to Liam for arranging the football match screening 😊 My only wish for the next visit; is for the room heating to be fixed quicker, our room was really cold and we had to call and even come down in person several times to finally get someone upstairs. I also wished someone had responded to my message on the app. Nonetheless, my family and I had a great time and we will be definitely revisiting ☺️

Shocking experience Rooms were not ready so had to check in later in evening Constant construction in foyer Running toilet made noise all night and kept us awake all night .. then woken again by drilling at 9am on a Sunday which was non stop … No management accountability during stay … shameful and disappointed … was told next morning should’ve been made aware but to late as was advance booking. Awaiting contact from hotel manager in the week. Need full refund.

The staff at the hotel were very good at front of house. I had sent a request regarding the room location and they did exactly as asked for. Nice touch. Always greeted as passing by desk or bar areas. Breakfast take for 3 days and always good and well refreshed, keeping things fresh and available. Did ask for a tray to take food back to our room for my wife, rapidly made available and a nice personal message made on the tray cover! Very nice touch. Used hotel for a family gathering, shall be back next year. Thanks to all the staff and that includes the excellent room staff too!

The staff were very polite and helpful however the hotel is undergoing a refit so things felt a little disjointed especially at breakfast. Not helped by a big influx of national hockey teams and a result it was crowded and the hot food was cold. I’m not sure that we were made aware of the upheaval of a refit at the time of booking. The rooms were of a good standard.

We were impressed with every aspect of our stay- from the friendly staff, the comfortable beds, the cleanliness and the tasty breakfast. Only criticism is that the bar prices were quite expensive!
