Parking wasn't that simple. We had to download an app, unfortunately, but we struggled with internet access as the signal was poor at the car park. However, the reception team sorted this out for us. The car park is a short walk from the hotel. Please note that the cost is significantly reduced with the hotel code.

The hotel is near the train station and near the City Centre. Our room was clean and big enough for 3 persons. There is no lift there, with heavy bags or for older people this might be a problem. The bathroom also had a good size but it was nearly impossible to shower with a convenient temperature, either too hot or too cold. The staff was friendly.

Very conveniently located. Parking is a bit of a problem, but that is Oxford in general, and expensive. Park in a park and ride and get the bus in. Hotel room was good, nice bathroom. No lift but only 2 floors so doable. Having the restaurant next door is handy.

Hotel was located an easy 5 to 10 min walk from all the shops, bars, restaurants and sight seeing attractions. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean and comfy, our room was large and bright, all very nice, great experience. There is a little cafe next door where we had a lovely breakfast.

Absurd that the hotel has no lift! If your particulars had included this basic information, as an 84 year old, I would have gone elsewhere. It makes me realise that I cannot rely on Expedia particulars and as a consequence I may cease to use Expedia. Otherwise (but this is a big exception), the hotel was fine.

My stay was very pleasant. The room was quite spacious and extremely clean and the air conditioning was silent and effective. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The location is very good - a short walk to the central bus station and the main shopping and restaurant areas.

Exceptionally friendly front staff, lovely clean room and bathroom. Beautiful old building with thick walls and a good layout. 3 minutes walk from train station, 10 minute walk from centre and all attractions, fab location. Really impressed for a 3 star hotel. Would definitely stay again. Slight road noise but did not disturb sleep.

Simple place, nothing fancy. But clean, had good AC, big bathroom, comfortable beds. Horrible shower though, with weak steam and difficulties setting the temperature. Great location if you want to be close to the train station and the bus station for airport busses. Overall good value for the money.

Very nice location. Stayed for 2 nights with a friend. Street is quite noisy. If you are on that side of the hotel, do not leave the windows open at night! Windows + coverings did manage to drown most of it out. Loved the Lighthouse Pub just down the street - especially on Tuesday for buy one/get one tapas.

Although right by the station which was convenient but had a room over the entrance of sainsbury and the main road. There was late night noise outside, and construction work early in the morning. Not hotels fault, but maybe double glazing may have helped.

The beds were really comfortable and clean. Thick windows blocked out steer noise really well so quiet even though in busy area. Staff were really friendly and there was snacks in the room for free which was a nice touch given we were really jet lagged and up at 3:30AM:/ reasonably priced given the location would stay here again!

Staff were friendly and the room looked nice however there was a constant annoying hum from outside all night (from some kind of generator or aircon unit) and there was very little hot water in the morning. The location was very convenient for a single night's stay

I enjoyed a two night stay here while I saw the highlights of Oxford convenient from the bus station and also to the train station a bit of a walk into the town. Hotel is older and shows the wear, My room was quite large and quiet and very comfortable. Staff was very pleasant and I appreciated them. Texting me when my room was ready. The stairs were hard with a suitcase, which was the only real negative to this property

The room was very clean but very compact. There was no shower gel left in the container. There were no extras at all - not even a shower cap or washer. It was a very spartan stay!!! We had to cart our luggage up to the second floor by ourselves. The staff were friendly but tended to offer assistance after you had already done the job. The reception area was not at the front of the building so that meant they didn’t see you unless you went to them.

Room was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly. Hotel was an easy 8 min walk from the bus station, 5-10 min walk to places to eat & see, and 13 min walk to the car rental company. We would stay there again. The only thing that was odd was that the desk staff asked us not to take our room key off premises when we went out dining or sightseeing -- they wanted the room key left at the desk and picked-up upon our return, which was first time we have ever been asked this by a hotel, and it was not as convenient as being trusted to carry our key safely with us.

The location was very convenient, a few minutes walk from the train station and close to the centre. The staff were excellent, the receptionist who checked us in couldn't have been more helpful. She gave us a choice of rooms and a map with all the popular places marked. The other reception staff were also very friendly and helpful.

While the location was good as far as its proximity to the train and bus stations and the room was clean an pleasant, the area around the hotel was very dirty with much litter and groups of drunken people who were breaking bottles and glassware and contributing to an unpleasant and uncomfortable feel.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean and comfy, our room was large and bright, all very nice, great experience. Well appointed spot right near the train station. We’re kind enough to hold my bags until the room was ready, then carried them up the flights to my room. Room was simple, but comfortable. lovely chocolates left on the pillows. Sits above a neighborhood bar, so it was quite rowdy at night.

I loved my stay at this hotel. It's is close to the train station, has a restaurant and a Sainsburys downstairs. Had a chance to see the city within two hours.

The rooms and property were very clean. The lady at the front desk was informative and very friendly . We had a problem with the shower and the problem was addressed immediately. The room and bathroom was spacious.The restaurant had a great breakfast.

Great location, between the train station and long haul bus terminal, also walk to tons of eateries and pubs, very convenient to explore Oxford and surrounding areas, like their cookies as well.

The beds were really comfortable and clean. Thick windows blocked out steer noise really well so quiet even though in busy area. Staff were really friendly and there was snacks in the room for free which was a nice touch given we were really jet lagged and up at 3:30AM:/ reasonably priced given the location would stay here again!

Very conveniently located. Parking is a bit of a problem, but that is Oxford in general, and expensive. Park in a park and ride and get the bus in. Hotel room was good, nice bathroom. No lift but only 2 floors so doable. Having the restaurant next door is handy.

Barely got any sleep due to traffic outside and building works somewhere. Not the hotel's fault but would put me off staying there again. There is a restaurant next door but no facilities at the hotel. The receptionist was very nice and the room was warm. Huge shower.

There really is nothing to this hotel. It looks big in the picture, but actually it occurs only a small reception area on the ground floor; retail shops occur the rest of the ground floor. The hotel has all or most of upper floors. There is a small restaurant that serves breakfast, not included, which we found to be slow, and supper. The hallways are narrow and very stuffy. The best feature of the rooms and the hotel is the bathroom, which has been completely remodeled and well-designed. The bed is rock hard. The staff was very helpful.

Very good location, we appreciated being able to leave our bags in reception the following day after we'd checked out. Door was a bit tricky to open and could have had a better selection of tea and milk

Location is fantastic - close to the train station. Nice and helpful staff. There is no lift but staff helped to carry our luggage to the 2nd floor. Room is cozy. Only thing is the shower water pressure is rather weak.
