Hadde to netter på hotellet. Glimrende beliggenhet i forhold til ulike attraksjoner og spisesteder. Flott takterrasse med bar og restaurant, men utrolig stive priser. Det var grunn nok til at vi valgte det bort. Av annet som trakk ned var at det var veldig lytt der, både fra gangen og naborommene, litt dumt med tanke på at det var et flott sted. Utover det, god frokost, service og hjelp når vi hadde behov for det.

Nice place, attention was good and great breakfast. Parking was expensive and a nightmare. It was located only 2 blocks from the Hotel but need to drive 3km to access due to streets work. Also parking space was scanty, it was difficult and too long to park. We were afraid to move the car after that. I would not recommend it if you arrive by car.

Hotel is well located and in fairly good condition for the price. The terrace and the breakfast buffet were the highlights for us. Unfortunately we had an issue with a clogged tub that took 2 days to resolved, not fun. Also the elevators don’t seem to work efficiently to say the least. All in all I will recommend it if you are not going to spend too much time in the hotel. Plenty of options for eating among all price ranges but what serves the best of this location is access to public transportation, hard to beat.

Very central location. Quick & seamless check-in. Fantastic family room , great sized beds & bathroom. Nice breakfast. Trendy rooftop bar but staff very inattentive (although we found this is many Italian venues) - drinks quite pricy but with central location & rooftop bar it was to be expected.

The hotel is located very close to the Duomo, it is modern, clean and well kept. The rooftop bar is amazing, although expensive (mandatory 23 euros for the first drink), but very pleasant. The room was big and very comfortable. The staff is helpful and effective. The only downsides are parking (not many options around), and no gym. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel for a luxury stay close to everything in the historical center of Milan.

Stayed in a Junior Suite for 3 nights. The hotel and room were very nice, but I was a little disappointed with the attention to detail regarding the cleaning. There was a lot of metallic trim on the furnishings that were full of prints and dirt. They also need to pay attention to their high dusting especially the bathroom vents. You also don't get daily cleaning of your room unless you request it, and I couldn't get an ice bucket even though I asked several times. On the plus side, t he bed was comfortable

Be aware: do not accept a room on 9th floor. This is under their rooftop club which plays music until well after the midnight. We stayed only two nights. The second night was particularly painful. Although it was a Thursday, the club upstairs continued the loud music until 12:40 am. It stopped at midnight the night before. We had an early train the next day so sleeping early was our goal … To add to our misery, after the music stopped one of the powerful LED lights in the room next to the door just turned on and off after a few seconds. Then again at 2am this bright light turned on for about thirty minutes. On the whole we could not sleep that night.

The rooms at this property are great - spacious and very comfortable beds. The bathrooms are set up so that they are great for sharing. Rooftop bar has great views! However, be prepared for a chaotic check in. We read the check in time as “3pm” but the hotel explained that means “starting at 3pm” and can extend until….. (I’m not sure how late). There was a long line of people waiting to check in and all were told that their rooms weren’t ready and there was no way to know when they would be. After a long day of traveling, all we wanted was to get into our rooms and this was not an option. The hotel also did not provide an easy way to know when your room is (finally) ready… you have to keep going back to stand in line. The rooms are great but not sure they offset this major inconvenience.

The hotel overall is great… good location and friendly staff. I was unluck to have a room (#812) that absorbed a lot of noise from the rooftop bar, located on the 10th floor. On the first night, I had to called them 3 times, to stop the loud music (around 1:30am). On the second, my husband went up himself in his bathrobe (!!!!!!!!!), because calls didn’t work. After this episode, remaining nights were OK. So overall our experience was a bit stressful, despite paying 700€ extra to the upgraded room (standard room is really small and we had many luggages). I would come back in lower floors or rooms facing different direction from the rooftop.

The bed was terrific. The front desk staff very helpful. There was no concierge that I saw. Buffet breakfast was very very good. However the room for two people was VERY SMALL and so was the bathroom. Big drawbacks. No where to put luggage or bathroom items.

Nice hotel with a great location. Good breakfast and excellent staff. We had a fantastic room on the 9th floor. Unfortunately, the rooftop bar on the 10th floor plays very loud music in the evenings. We could almost hear it all the way to the Duomo. Since we were travelling with small children, it was frustrating that we couldn’t fall asleep until the bar closed at 1 a.m. (be prepared to wait until 2 a.m. on weekends).

Our room was very nice . Location is perfect. Location is great for sightseeing & restaurants! THE ROOF - is EXCELLENT!! Employees are very friendly & helpful. One gentleman that worked there gave a us fantastic restaurant to try !! Our room was large & shower was excellent!! Walk in shower- not climbing into a tub ! Problems were no A/C , no shampoo in the shower & one TV remote didn’t work. The lack of airflow was uncomfortable to use. Other than that I would give it 5 stars

Very Disappointing Stay – Poor Service for a 4-Star Hotel Our experience at Hotel Dei Cavalieri Milano Duomo was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We arrived early and were told by reception that our room was not ready. Fair enough, we thought. We came back at 4:30 pm and were told again that the room still wasn’t ready. Eventually, reception allocated us two rooms (520 and 502), but what a shambles. These were supposed to be non-smoking rooms, yet the toilet area had a strong smell of stale cigar smoke, which lingered heavily. My son began to have difficulty breathing because of the odour, so I immediately raised the issue with reception. The staff member, Mia, assured us it would be dealt with while we went out. However, when we returned at 8:30 pm, Mia seemed surprised to see us and admitted they had completely forgotten to clean or address the problem. I was astonished, we had walked out in front of her after reporting the issue! This is not the standard one would expect from any hotel, let alone a supposed 4 star property. The service was poor, the organisation appalling, and there was a complete lack of care for guests’ comfort and wellbeing. Families with children, in particular, should avoid this hotel, you will be far better off at a decent bed and breakfast. I travel a lot for both business and pleasure, and while the location may be central, I will definitely not be recommending this hotel to anyone.

Mostly comfortable hotel, absolutely terrible service (apart from Domenico at reception). We had the misfortune of having one of our passports stolen at Milan metro, and the hotel showed zero empathy in this regard. We were not allowed to check in until we produced a police report, which took us 8 hours in total to obtain (of which 4 hours was spent physically waiting at a swelteringly hot and uncomfortable police station). The reception staff were unmoving and unsympathetic (apart from one decent Asian receptionist, whose name, unfortunately I don't recall, and Domenic, who, as a consolation, gave us a bar voucher). We do appreciate the gesture, but it was paltry compensation for a really traumatic experience, and all we wanted was to be able to check into our room (which we had already paid for in full) by showing numerous other forms of ID that we had (including my husband's passport). Instead, we ended up having to sit in the lobby for hours and hours, trying to come to terms with the catastrophes facing us, without any privacy or support. When we finally were finally checked in at 11 PM after producing the police report for the stolen passport, it was all we could do to not collapse in a heap. The bed was, thankfully, very comfortable - small mercies, and the the rest of the room was fine, other than a stoppered sink, which we were too exhausted and distraught to report. This was the worst hotel experience in my two decades of international travel and I will never return

We had a very positive experience at this hotel. The reception staff were exceptionally polite and attentive, and went out of their way to assist us with every request. The location is a major highlight. it's perfectly situated within easy reach of all the main tourist attractions. The staff throughout the hotel were fantastic. The waiters during breakfast were very attentive, and the breakfast itself was satisfactory. We also enjoyed drinks at the rooftop restaurant; while we found the food to be a bit overrated for the price, the views are absolutely stunning and make it a perfect spot for an evening cocktail. There were only a couple of minor drawbacks. The room cleaning could have been more thorough, as we noticed some dust and dirt remained after service. However, this was a small issue in an otherwise excellent stay. Given the superb location, outstanding service, and overall comfort, we would happily return and rate our experience a solid 9 out of 10.

All staff were professional, knowledgeable, easy to deal with and provided an excellent level of service. Enjoyed upstairs rooftop bar albeit it was pricey. Breakfast was first rate. Noticed reception staff levels inadequate at times resulting in queues and having to wait for simple request. More could have been done and was dissatisfied that unlike other hotels, our room became available only an hour before the 3.00pm check in after alerting and requesting a check in as soon as possible due to our early arrival after a long flight from Australia. good location, large room, good mattress, dated property, inefficient check in, hotel never once replied to a single query, neither from Hotels.com message board or its own website. the only prompt from hotel was letting me know it was about to charge my card a pre-approval deposit. So the hotel is happy to charge you but not respond to messages. if you offer parking, have the wherewithal to stamp the garage receipt so when the guest goes to check out of garage, the ignorant ape attendant doesnt give you grief for not having ticket stamped & you have to wait for the attendant to call hotel to verify you have indeed checked out. in Milan, this little scenario takes >30 minutes

They got our room ready late. We arrived at 2:30 pm after long drive. 3 pm was check in time. They made us wait for one full hour! Room was ready at 3:30 with no apology and compensation for inconvenience. My knees were swollen, we requested to get some ice and they wanted to charge 6:50 for ice, and 16.50 euros to bring to our room. We offered to come to food area to pick ice up still 6.50 euros. How pathetic!!

We stayed 4 nights after arriving at Linate airport - a quick bus ride to Milano Centrale stations, then the metro on the M3 yellow line to Missouri. The hotel was a short walk from the station. Staff were excellent as were rooms and breakfast. The location is great - well positioned for walking to main attractions incl. Duomo, La Scala, Christmas markets etc.

It's a wonderful and beautiful hotel! With an excellent location to visit the most emblematic tourist attractions of the city of Milan! Everything super close and accessible, restaurants, shops, the Duomo, The Castle, everything is close and you can walk without problems. Super recommended to go for dinner at The Roof, on the top floor of the hotel, where you will have an unforgettable experience with a spectacular panoramic view and a dream dinner! (Don't forget to book in advance to get a good place outside with the best views and check the weather). ~~~~~~~ È un hotel meraviglioso e bellissimo! Con un'ottima posizione per andare a visitare le attrazioni turistiche più emblematiche della città di Milano!
