The staff at this hotel were truly wonderful—friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay. Unfortunately, the building itself is extremely old and goddy and in desperate need of renovation. The facilities felt run-down and shabby, which took away from the overall experience. If the hotel ever updates its infrastructure, invest in working AC it could be a fantastic place to stay, thanks to the amazing personnel. Alberto was by far the most professional hotel receptionist I’ve ever encountered. He went above and beyond to help guests and truly deserves double the recognition (and pay!) for all his hard work trying to satisfy frustrated customers. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is in desperate need of improvement. There was no air conditioning until June 1st, the shower handle kept falling off, the tea kettle lid was broken, and the entire room was smelly and I felt like stepping back 100 years into a very old establishment. While the staff, especially Alberto, do their best, the building and amenities really let the experience down.

Surprised that Expedia lists them.. the price is outrageous for the size of the room and the terrible condition of the bathroom which was mouldy, in disrepair and you could not properly shower without getting water everywhere. The hairdryer is useless and outdated. The beds were extremely uncomfortable as well and the rooms were way too small. Terrible value for the price we paid.

This is a 2 star hotel not a 4 star as what they claim. Aminities are OLD. I won’t recommend this hotel waay too expensive for what you get. Shower door fell on me, I had to hold it while taking a shower. Shame on the mgt claiming it’s a 4 star hotel. Room was too small. Needs serious upgrade!!! Also, it’s a 30 min walk to Duomo, not 15 min according to their website. Don’t get fooled. I’ve never felt disgusted and angry for the price I paid. Shame shame shame!!! ***1/10*** the only good thing was the breakfast buffet, that’s all.

Camera molto piccola, con un minimo spazio per passare attorno al letto. Cassaforte non funzionante. Ma la cosa che mi ha infastidito di più è stata la richiesta di 50 € in più oltre il prezzo preventivato. Alla mia rimostranza che il prezzo comunicato non era stato quello, mi è stato risposto che c'è stato un errore. Non è concepibile per un albergo a 4 stelle.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The interior was beautiful- like a film set. The room was a bit small but the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. One minor niggle - no English language TV stations. Otherwise, excellent.

Air conditioning was seasonally off but the very kind desk staff tried to override the system for us. Unfortunately our rooms system could not be turned on but the staff opened a small adjacent single room that had a/c. Leaving the door open between the two rooms helped a little. The hotel is in need of bathroom upgrades, but was kept clean. The breakfast buffet was good though the service in the room seemed somewhat chaotic. We had to ask twice for coffee with milk - when it arrived with no milk we asked 2 more times, eventually just using the cereal milk on the buffet. Items such as eggs were not being replenished so a few of our party had a true "continental breakfast". While these are only minor anoyances , the hotel does rate itself as, and charge for 4 star amenities. I'm sure it was just a few bad coincidences, and once again, the front desk team were fantastic.

The hotel did not want to put the Air Conditioner because according to them it was cool outside. When we first walked into our room it was hot and musty smelling. We were offered another room that had a courtyard behind and we were able to open the window for cool air but flies flew in and my husband was bitten. We complained to the front desk and while they were very nice this is not acceptable for a supposedly 4 star hotel in Milan. We were very disappointed but the people were nice s, the location was good and the breakfast was also very good.

La ubicación del alojamiento es buena pese a no encontrarse en el centro histórico de la ciudad; dispone de un supermercado justo al lado y existen numerosos negocios de restauración en las inmediaciones. El personal es atento y resuelve rápidamente cualquier incidencia que se presente, lo que es un hecho a destacar. La decoración es clásica, pero a la vez agradable y acorde con el aspecto de la ciudad. Algunos aspectos del lavabo de la habitación utilizada son poco prácticos (mampara de la bañera y baja velocidad de desagüe) o no funcionan correctamente (el bidé). Asimismo, el panel eléctrico de la habitación, cuando está conectado, emite un zumbido constante que en ocasiones puede resultar molesto. El desayuno es muy completo y disponen de una amplia variedad de embutidos, quesos, dulces y frutas, entre otros. Ha sido el elemento más destacable de mi estancia.

I don't recommand this hotel. The AC only works from June to September. Therefore, even if it was sunny and warm outside (end of May) we couldn't use the AC in our room. The reception refused to start it, even if it was more than 25 degrees celcius inside! They said it was written in their website which is not true and suggested us to open the windows which we did. Result: in the morning, the room was full of mosquitoes and we were bitten several times! The hotel refused to start the AC again and they just offered us a ventilator which almost didn't work... Also, note that there is no laundry room for clients in this hotel, contrary to what is indicated on hotels.com

Do not stay here! I booked this on a last minute trip to Milano due to the location close to duomo. The property is rated 4 stars but it is a 2 star hotel by the looks. The rooms are not clean and the walls are paper thin. My neighbor was yelling at me through the door for being on a call with my daughter. I cannot even watch a video in my phone without a neighbor yelling they can hear me. I did not enjoy this stay at all. The staff is not helpful and the rooms are very cramped. Take your money somewhere else!!!

Disappointing. Rooms very small, very hot and in need of decoration. Stayed 3 nights. Had to move on 2nd day as room not made up. Bathrooms dirty. Had a dirty towel in room on arrival. Light hanging off the wall, not working, in 2nd room. Staff not that helpful. Safe not working.

The property is very convenient to buses and trams. Easy access to the Duomo and to Milan Central. Nice location. However, I do not feel it's a 4 star hotel. The breakfast was very average. Most of the food was cold. The only hot items were eggs and soggy soggy bacon. The eggs were not replaced until they were all gone in the tray. Therefore, you needed to wait a while to get fresh scrambled eggs. The pancakes are ready made and just microwaved. I understand it's an american food. Plenty of cheeses, cold meat, and cakes. We couldn't get air conditioning in our room because they were not ready to turn it on so we had to open the windows instead. We were there for 8 nights. The sheets were not changed once. A coffee mug sat on the dresser for days and the trash bin was not cleaned out. It was literally overflowing. We placed our used towels in the shower stall in the morning figuring that would be a way of getting fresh towels, but no, they actually folded the used wet towels and placed them back on the shelf. I know that because the lipstick that was on my towel that morning, was the same towel I was using that evening. When I complained about that to the front desk, I was told it's not their policy to not change the towels but it was that particular cleaning staff was at fault. Totally unsanitary and disgusting. Would not stay there again.

Really nice hotel staff, but rooms could have been better kept. Linens were clean but there were ants all over the room. The shower doors did not fully close and the water flooded right out creating a pool in the bathroom.

Alberto was by far the most professional hotel receptionist I’ve ever encountered. He went above and beyond to help guests and truly deserves double the recognition (and pay!) for all his hard work trying to satisfy frustrated customers. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is in desperate need of improvement. There was no air conditioning until June 1st, the shower handle kept falling off, the tea kettle lid was broken, and the entire room was smelly and I felt like stepping back 100 years into a very old establishment. While the staff, especially Alberto, do their best, the building and amenities really let the experience down.

Do not stay here! I booked this on a last minute trip to Milano due to the location close to duomo. The property is rated 4 stars but it is a 2 star hotel by the looks. The rooms are not clean and the walls are paper thin. My neighbor was yelling at me through the door for being on a call with my daughter. I cannot even watch a video in my phone without a neighbor yelling they can hear me. I did not enjoy this stay at all. The staff is not helpful and the rooms are very cramped. Take your money somewhere else!!!

The hotel was located nicely with lots of food opportunities. The staff was very nice and welcoming. But the hotel was not worth the price! The rooms are not comfy for this price and the bathroom was old. The rooms were also very noisy. I arrived very late and got a room which actually was a connected room with another room (40/41). The people next to me were very loud and using the blow dryer until very late. It was as if we were in the same room. Because I had to work early next morning I asked for a new room. The gentleman at the reception gave me room 44. All together the quality was just not worth the price. The people working there are very professional and nice.

Disappointing. Rooms very small, very hot and in need of decoration. Stayed 3 nights. Had to move on 2nd day as room not made up. Bathrooms dirty. Had a dirty towel in room on arrival. Light hanging off the wall, not working, in 2nd room. Staff not that helpful. Safe not working.

This is a 2 star hotel not a 4 star as what they claim. Aminities are OLD. I won’t recommend this hotel waay too expensive for what you get. Shower door fell on me, I had to hold it while taking a shower. Shame on the mgt claiming it’s a 4 star hotel. Room was too small. Needs serious upgrade!!! Also, it’s a 30 min walk to Duomo, not 15 min according to their website. Don’t get fooled. I’ve never felt disgusted and angry for the price I paid. Shame shame shame!!! ***1/10*** the only good thing was the breakfast buffet, that’s all.

The property is very convenient to buses and trams. Easy access to the Duomo and to Milan Central. Nice location. However, I do not feel it's a 4 star hotel. The breakfast was very average. Most of the food was cold. The only hot items were eggs and soggy soggy bacon. The eggs were not replaced until they were all gone in the tray. Therefore, you needed to wait a while to get fresh scrambled eggs. The pancakes are ready made and just microwaved. I understand it's an american food. Plenty of cheeses, cold meat, and cakes. We couldn't get air conditioning in our room because they were not ready to turn it on so we had to open the windows instead. We were there for 8 nights. The sheets were not changed once. A coffee mug sat on the dresser for days and the trash bin was not cleaned out. It was literally overflowing. We placed our used towels in the shower stall in the morning figuring that would be a way of getting fresh towels, but no, they actually folded the used wet towels and placed them back on the shelf. I know that because the lipstick that was on my towel that morning, was the same towel I was using that evening. When I complained about that to the front desk, I was told it's not their policy to not change the towels but it was that particular cleaning staff was at fault. Totally unsanitary and disgusting. Would not stay there again.

Asimismo, el panel eléctrico de la habitación, cuando está conectado, emite un zumbido constante que en ocasiones puede resultar molesto. Air conditioning was seasonally off but the very kind desk staff tried to override the system for us. Unfortunately our rooms system could not be turned on but the staff opened a small adjacent single room that had a/c. Leaving the door open between the two rooms helped a little. The hotel is in need of bathroom upgrades, but was kept clean. The breakfast buffet was good though the service in the room seemed somewhat chaotic. We had to ask twice for coffee with milk - when it arrived with no milk we asked 2 more times, eventually just using the cereal milk on the buffet. Items such as eggs were not being replenished so a few of our party had a true "continental breakfast". While these are only minor anoyances , the hotel does rate itself as, and charge for 4 star amenities. I'm sure it was just a few bad coincidences, and once again, the front desk team were fantastic.

When we arrived there was no explanation of how to get to our room or how to control anything inside. The room was very warm and we had to leave the key card in our room so it could cool down while we went out for a walk. The air con was quiteloudand now verypowerfulso took a long time to cool the room. We asked for a second card and this was denied and was told the staff would let us back in when we returned. The room was very small and we struggled to get our luggage in. There is lots of work going on in the hotel and most of the carpets have dust sheets on them. Banging and general work noise was quite loud on Saturday morning so we couldn't relax before checking out.
