We loved the hotel, the roominess of the extra living space. Our only complaint was we were planning to spend parts of two days at the pool lounging but were not informed the pool was closed for repair. The extra $30/nt resort fee seemed unnecessary due to the pool closure.

Very nice hotel for a two night stay and good location. Parking easy. Carpet needs to be replaced in halls and room, but otherwise king suite room was great and had everything we needed. Pool area, although not overly large, was well kept along with the property grounds. Can see they take great pride in the property. Breakfast was better than expected and plenty of hot options. Overall a great value and will likely stay here again.

This is a lovely property. The rooms are clean, but could use an uplift. The people who work here are kind and engaging. The room kitchens do not contain all the basic items generally included at suite hotels. There is some minor disrepair throughout the property…it needs some love. The pool deck is EXTREMELY slippery when wet. It needs to be replaced before someone gets hurt.

We love the cleanliness of the property, pool and courtyard. Even the free breakfast and cocktail hour are worth the $30.00 resort fee. However, our room was NOT clean. The carpet had not been cleaned or even vacuumed. The sheets were torn, and bottom sheet and mattress pad were too small and did not fit the bed. For the cost of the hotel per night, I expected better.

The staff at this property were great. The pool was nice could have been a little cleaner. The room was ok not very clean and around the perimeter of the carpet in the room very heavy dust along with the hallways. Property needs a face lift! The staff at the free breakfast and happy hour were wonderful. Enjoyed the breakfast and happy hour! I would stay here again just wish things could get spruced up a bit.

The carpet in our room was way passed it's prime. We also found underwear behind the curtains. We were given a different room after a run around of being promised one thing then given a different. The property is amazing and service is great, however updates to some of the rooms is a necessity.

It's a nice property - safe, well maintained and clean. The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. The breakfasts in the Hearth Room were great and the courtyard is a very nice place to relax. However, the room furniture (sofas) are pretty worn, uncomfortable and are badly in need of replacement. Same goes for the carpeting, which was stained and kind of dirty.

I really liked the location, walking distance to many great restaurants and a Sprouts grocery store. The room was upgraded to a mini suite, and it was very spacious. The breakfast buffet is really good, with many choices. The pool is small, and it was very crowded. The hotel looks a bit outdated, but overall it's nice.

We had a 2 bedroom suite with full kitchen (no oven). Did an Instacart order from nearby Sprouts. Perfect, we never had to eat out once and the kitchen was just right for breakfast, lunch and dinner! 2 big bottles of Evian water (5.00 each) in Fridge were a welcome touch. There are, however, plenty of nearby nice restaurants and the hotel had a very welcoming area for breakfast and happy hour. Nice outdoor eating area near pool as well. The King and Queen size beds were just divine. Very comfy and nice pillow assortment with luxury bedding. Nice bedroom setup with nightstand and good lighting options.

The hotel was decent but quite dated. We booked a courtyard view room but basically had mostly a view of the roof of the lobby. Overall a nice stay, the breakfast and pool were good but the room seemed shabby. Safe and convenient to everything in Scottsdale but we’ll stay elsewhere in the future.

When I arrived, the front desk attendant was on her cell phone for 15 minutes without acknowledging me. I stood where she could see me and she just continued on her phone call like I wasn’t even there. Breakfast wasn’t as good as I remembered from being there some years back. The fruit was gross and the eggs and sausage was cold.

Been staying at this property for work for 25 years. It’s always been clean, comfortable and friendly. Not every Sonesta is a home run so was concerned when this hotel became part of this chain. So far so good. They’ve done a nice job of keeping this place updated including a newly renovated pool and some of the niceties like happy hour and complimentary hot breakfast. The location is great with Gainey Village next door and all of north Scottsdale in nearby driving distance.

This hotel is so wonderful in so many ways. The room was comfortable, nice bed, shower and sitting area. The breakfast buffet has many options, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, danish juice and coffee.we stayed twice and both times was very nice. The second time we were in a newly renovated room with new carpet. There is a great restaurant in the immediate area “Village Tavern” and the food was delicious and the staff was very courteous. My husband ordered the Fish & Chips and said they were very good. I had the Sea Bass and it was delicious as well.The warm butter cake was to die for it was topped with French vanilla ice cream, raspberry sauce and fresh strawberries and blueberries. . We will definitely be going back to this hotel soon!

Amazing. Hands down a great property. Amazing breakfast! Great complimentary drink hour and snacks. The bed was so comfortable, the kitchens are outstanding, the staff was so trustable and amazing.
