Room was clean and staff was nice. I had called to make sure there were EV chargers and upon arrival they were not working. I had to spend nearly two hours charging my car at another location off property. It would have been nice to have been able to relax in the hotel instead.

When we arrived, I remarked on how clean the room was-until about an hour later I pulled the sheet away from the comforter and found a smearing of blood and mucus that clearly was fresh (definitely hadn’t been washed). I was offered free breakfast (didn’t need or use) and it took over an hour to get it changed. Falcon changed the bed and was great, very apologetic and personable, but the experience was still ruined.

I found hair in my tub so I knew it has not been cleaned. I didn’t make it a huge deal as I can easily clean it off but still grossed out by it. There was also lots of water on my bathroom floor by the toilet and tub. As if some e had showered that morning there.

The room we were given had a weird smell. We opened the window and ran the ac to see if it would clear the smell out and left for about 2 hours. Returned to the room smelling like urine and the smell was coming from the ac unit. Turned it off and went to the front desk to let them know and we were given another room. The room was fresh but no conditioner when I showered this morning. Overall we enjoyed this hotel along with the staff and quality of food & drinks. The bartender Kenny definitely made it more enjoyable with his fun personality and attentiveness.

The air conditioner cycled on and off all night, even tho there was a steady stream of cool air, the motor came on about every 30-45 minutes. The loudness was that of a vacuum cleaner ( I have an app that measures ambient noise). So I woke up all night long. It sounded like a truck warming up, and the rumble came thru the bed and pillow. Terrible night’s sleep.

We would up in a room opposite the gym -- without warning that the banging sound of this door opening and closing at the crack of dawn would drive us insane. Also, we were not warned we had to ask for housekeeping. We should have been warned verbally, not have it assumed we'd read a sticker on the upper left hand corner of a mirror somewhere. We came home after a tiring day to find food dishes still there, sheets and towels still in disarray, etc. Dispiriting. Why not tell us we had to ask for cleaning service? New to us. Why in the world do we now need to ask hotels for everything, instead of having basic services offered? I understand the environmental reasons for this, but TALK to us.

This property was very nice. I would stay there again. My only complaint was the air conditioner setting wouldn’t go below 68 so it was too warm in the room and the elevator was very slow. Otherwise, it was very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable.

Showed up at 430 for a 4pm check in and room still wasn’t ready. The front desk person seemed to act like this was normal. The only thing that made it better was the super friendly and apologetic housekeeping staff that we encountered on the way to our room after it was finally ready.

The hotel was average nothing special which is normal for double tree. The awful part was the front desk! They were rude! Checked us into the wrong room and then blamed us, sorry I’m not the one on the computer and you asked for ID/Credit Card so you should match the name to the room! No towels in the room then they brought us pool towels which okay things happen. I will not stay here again just because of the customer service up front overall the actual hotel was fine.

We left something behind in the room and it was never turned in my the cleaning staff. I left a message with the manager to follow-up on why the staff wouldn’t have followed protocol and never received a call back. We will never stay here again…staff can’t be trusted.

I accidentally left behind two brand new summer dresses, still in the package that I had received them in, and didn’t even know it until we got a text message notification that we had left two clothing items in hotel room. I was so grateful to have them back. Thank you staff at Double Tree Chico.

The restaurant dinner was horrific 30 to 45 min wait for food with only two tables with customers. By far the worst dinner I have ever had!! My wife dinner was almost as bad. Will never eat dinner there again. Otherwise the accommodations were very good!!

This was the best stay I have ever had at a doubletree hotel. The staff was top notch and eye catching. the 15$ breakfast was absolutely amazing and totally worth it the only problem I had with it was they only had bacon, sausage was not an option. I stayed there by myself on business trip and the quiet atmosphere was very appreciated becuse I could relax after a long day. The snack section was fully stocked and easly accessible. Good location close to HWY 99 Most rooms have been redone, but I always seem to find issues. Everything from toilets that run continuously to chips on the bathroom counters that could cut u and loose shower towel bars. Lounge food is mediocre don't order the pizza. Beer selection is good with local IPA's. I would probably give this hotel a 6/10 and Ive slept in a lot of hotels as a travel nurse. I like it because of the location.

Unfortunately, we were there when the water main broke, or something like that, it was not out for more than two hours so was not a real problem. I did want to do a load of laundry but was turned around on the second floor because of the lack of water to do so. We made do with what we had clean. Bartender was very nice and friendly too. Had a margarita pizza and it was just okay, didn't seem fresh, maybe frozen and microwaved, which is just okay. The complimentary cook was very good and chewy too. Appreciated the bottled water since I forgot to pack some. The only complaint, or suggestion I guess, is that the show door doesn't keep the water from running all over the bathroom floor. Also, the toilet seat was broken when we got there and the screw was on the floor behind the toilet. We will be making reservations again as my husband is being treated for colon cancer at Enloe Hospital. See you again then. Thank you Chuck and Marian Pierce

Everything as far as the Staff, outside areas, the Restaurant were very nice. As far as our room, the toilet was pretty wet all around the base of the toilet and kept leaking, also the shower door was coming off the hinges and would not close properly, we reported it to the front desk!
