We stayed at the Oxford Suites to attend the American Flat Track National Championship motorcycle races at Silver Dollar Speedway, which is just on the other side of the highway from the property. The property is clean, well kept, and our room was also well maintained. The staff at Oxford Suites was very accommodating and we took advantage of the shuttle to get over to dinner at the Sierra Nevada Brewery Tap Room on Friday and to the races on Saturday. There is shopping nearby, as well as some restaurant options in the area, although I would recommend heading downtown for food. I would stay there again, and would recommend it for others visiting Chico!

Matt the manager was very friendly and offered compensation since they placed us in the wrong room. The entire staff was very friendly. Great amenities, pool, sauna, gym and jacuzzi were all very great and in very good condition.

Who cares about the scuff marks on the walls, and the stains on the carpet. When I pulled back my blankets, there was all kinds of hair on the fitted sheet. When I pulled back my daughters blankets, it looked like there was chocolate smeared onto the fitted sheet. We came with wipes, so I wiped off what may or may not have been chocolate and threw it in the trash. We both slept on top of the blankets. We chose this hotel because it was listed as exceptional on Expedia, but I didn’t see it.

When I pulled back the covers to go to bed I found multiple hairs on the bed sheets. Yuk! I called down to the front desk and asked for them to send up new sheets. After waiting about a half an hour, I ended up having to get dressed and go downstairs to ask again for new sheets. The front desk staff said nothing the next day. I feel like they should have made some sort of gesture for the inconvenience, especially as I had to strip and remake the bed myself.

The room was on the small side, the bathroom was kinda gross. Toliet seat hinges had black mold, outside tub had either dirt, grime or something, and the tub cracked and was a bit nerving

The bathroom area only has a circle of light around the mirror which is dim lighting. It was very difficult to see to put makeup on day or night. Otherwise, it was nice.

Everything was great except we had a suite with a couch that makes into a double bed. The mattress was really uncomfortable even for a 17 year old who doesn't complain much. And we could hear him every time he moved.

If you book the King Suite and expect more than 1 person to sleep on the sofa bed, you will regret it. We had 4 people and had to upgrade the room because the sofa bed was so tiny. Also, don't stay here if you want a quiet sleep. I could hear every movement above us (footsteps and murmured talking). Unfortunately for us the people above us decided to pace back and forth for an hour in the middle of the night, keeping us awake the entire time. Either book the top floor or stay somewhere else unless you don't mind hearing your neighbors above you.

Nice hotel, room was spacious and comfortable. Room darkening curtains helped sleep at night, TV had the good channels. Great value to stay in Chico. Close to lots of stores, walking distance to In-N-Out. Breakfast was great Would stay again

Terrible experience. Started off with reading on their website at booking that there was an airport shuttle that would pick us up - well not true. Their so called shuttle only picks up from Chico airport- which is currently a closed airport! The beds were also hard as a rock - could not sleep. And had a very rude older lady at front desk when trying to check out early. Thankfully the general manager was very helpful - that is who the two stars are for, along with Jordan when we checked in who was great! Would not stay there again, sorry.

We booked our stay at Oxford Suites Chico through Hotels.com and were expecting a solid, comfortable visit—but CJ, the concierge, turned it into something unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, CJ made us feel like VIPs. I had called ahead for some essentials (toothbrush, toothpaste, wine opener—you know, the survival kit), and not only did CJ have everything ready, he delivered it with such enthusiasm and wit that I wondered if he had a degree in guest happiness. CJ didn’t just meet expectations—he obliterated them. Whether it was anticipating our needs or greeting us with humor and warmth after a long day, he made us feel genuinely cared for. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and the pillows were fluffier than a cloud, but it’s CJ who took this stay from a B+ to an A+++. Oxford Suites, take note: CJ deserves a Hall of Fame plaque or at least a cape! If you’re staying here, know the service is exceptional, and with CJ around, you’re in for a treat. Can’t wait to return!

The staff remembered us. I know some of that's in thier computer. The the bar staff remembered us. We only had two drinks then and good conversation in a ,maybe, two hour period. The bartender asked questions about some of the things we talked about a month prior. The shift changed and we got to see the staff that checked us in our first trip. They were very welcoming and knowled us as recent returned guest.

I had an excellent stay at the Oxford Suites. My room was exactly what I had hoped for, and the rates were reasonable. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. I want to specifically commend one of the hotel concierge members who assisted me upon my late arrival at 10:30pm. After enduring about 6 hours of traveling, I reached the hotel and found myself struggling to walk or put any weight on my feet due to a recent foot injury. Transitioning from limited mobility to zero mobility during my journey was challenging, but the hotel concierge named Chris went above and beyond to assist me. He greeted me at my vehicle with a wheelchair that I could use for the weekend and personally carried all of my luggage upstairs, helping me settle into my room. His exceptional care exceeded my expectations and completely transformed my experience.

Check in time was easy and the gentlemen at front desk were super nice and offered to help with my bags. But my husband was there so we didn’t need them. Other guests were kinda noisy during the night. I gave the service a high rating because of the front desk being kind and welcoming. But man let me tell you about the breakfast staff! The lady that worked Sunday morning (1/12/25) had a scowl on her face the whole time we were in there. No one greeted us and the staff stayed behind the wall most of the time. I noticed a rather tall gentleman in a suite come in and they all greeted him and would not let up on how wonderful his plain red tie was! Kinda strange so I assumed the man worked there. So the breakfast staff could use some retraining. We will stay with Oxford again.

Specifically requested an ADA room. Was promised by Kaitlyn that was the case did not get that room. People failed to mention charges that I specifically asked about prior to booking. They were rude to my 10-year-old son kept laughing at him until I’d come around. Reported many times my frustrations and concerns to management. Nobody did anything at all. They didn’t even respond. Just sat there silently and ignored the situation with not even as much as an apology. This is not a hotel to go to if you’re in a wheelchair or have limited mobility. And don’t even for a second think if you need something, the staff will be attentive or even caring. By far the absolute worst hotel experience I have ever had in my entire life. I would never go back. I do not recommend this hotel and seeing as how they also own the katarina hotel in Chico I would not recommend them either. There aren’t enough words in the human language to describe or express my disappointment in this hotel. 48 hours after check-in 24 hours after checkout and I still have yet to speak to the general manager or the hotel manager, despite many requests. And yes, I left voicemails.

Fantastic and friendly staff. Nice pool and hot tub area. Hotel sink clogged easily but because the stopper was stuck in a weird position where the rubber portion blocked most of the drain. Delicious hot breakfast buffet. Decent beverage selection for free happy hour. Good hotel in an ok area. Felt safe but a lot of transient people present outside of the property so uncertain if that is a Chico thing or not.

I don't often write reviews but can't say enough good things about this hotel! From check-in to check-out, it was the perfect place to stay for my visit to Chico. The staff are pleasant, hotel is new, clean, and comfortable, and the pool and hot tub were awesome! The free drink for happy hour each day was a pleasant surprise and the bar tender was super nice. The breakfast was great and was even able to special order eggs from the grill. Will definitely stay here again! Wish there were more hotels in this chain!

Excellent breakfast with options such as having a omelette made for you. The room was clean, comfortable, plenty of towels and nice sundries(shampoo, conditioner etc…). This is where I put up my guests since I don’t have room. Top class!

The property was good with the current price ranged, well maintain and clean, Bed is comfortable. Parking is a breeze! restaurants are just walkable. This property is notoriously policing the old version of a meal ticket! No ticket no breakfast! You’ll not be served at all! So don’t forget to asks for that breakfast ticket.

I would book at the Oxford Suites again. I like my room at 402 better than 459. The staff were very pleasant to work with. The breakfast and happy hour food were okay, nothing great. Beer options at the bar was limited for me.
