If a peaceful elegant stay is what you are envisioning, this is the perfect spot! Located just a 3 min drive from downtown (10-15 min walk)- you are close enough to the action but away from the busyness. The property is a Victorian home that has been updated with a nice modern twist. With lovely sitting nooks, outdoor nooks, pool/hot tub/sauna, and a freshly made breakfast… you could stay in and lounge all day if you wanted to! Everything was super easy. Check in codes are given beforehand via text, and you can get your questions answered via text. Would highly recommend this stay for couples, girls getaways, or a solo trip while enjoying Napa!

Staying at Hennessey Estate in Napa was such a special experience. This was our third stay at Hennessey House. We love the house and try out different rooms each time we stay. We'll be back in two weeks to stay in the "Bridal Suite." Charlie & Claudia are the best and make a delicious breakfast each morning! A couple improvements that could be made: 1. The outdoor lighting is way too dim to see the steps from the parking lot. There is also a tree stump that can't be seen at night and is a major trip hazard. Best to use the ramp to get to the door rather than the steps at night. 2. Please offer larger sized soaps in the room. Extremely tiny, thin soap. Note: Rooms are not automatically cleaned each day. I think they'll do it if asked.

This home is absolutely stunning—beautifully renovated while preserving all of its original charm. Everything was impeccably clean, and the room felt both spacious and cozy, with an incredibly comfortable bed that made it hard to leave in the morning. Breakfast was fantastic both days, and we loved spending time in the serene spa and pool out back. My two sisters and I stayed in the upstairs hideaway at Hennessey House last weekend when we had a girls’ trip to Napa. This is very much a no-frills property. It was perfect for our needs, because when we go to Napa, we are not really interested in spending time or money at a hotel – – we want to save that for the wineries and restaurants! Check-in was very easy; the property is a lovely Victorian house on a quiet street, but only about a 10 minute walk into downtown Napa. Breakfast was served in the communal dining room and was uncomplicated but satisfying. There was also plenty of parking. Really, just a perfect, easy little spot. I would absolutely stay there again!

Lighting needed for evening parking behind property! Info. Should be left with sign at desk for arrival. Ex., a phone number because the bell at desk brought no one. I called number with site and thank goodness was given code right away. The old carpet should be removed ! We should have been asked at check in would we want breakfast so they could be prepared for the # of guests. We had to ask for spoons for yogurt, salt for eggs. Little things yet they weren’t considered.

Very dissatisfied the carpet was disgustingly dirty in the room and in the hallways! Please tear the carpets out. The breakfast was good but not gourmet in any way! And the worst thing was no cleaning daily! Terrible will not be back!

Beautiful estate home. Room layout was nice but cobwebs all over on light fixture. Hot water in shower literally took eight min to get to lukewarm (felt guilty for keeping it running but needed a shower). Rest of room very nice. Didn’t see staff at all except for breakfast crew. Food was ok. No other service- Not even check in/ out.

It is very nice place to stay. Well maintained and they really do care about guests. Breakfast was excellent and bed was very comfortable, everything was clean and in good condition. Tip: do not book it through Expedia. On the website price was $70 lower.

Property is located in a very quiet area of downtown Napa but only four blocks from stores, bars, and restaurants. The grounds are very pleasant, breakfast and kitchen staff were very accommodating, and the virtual check in procedure was easy. Now the downsides. We were in the "Bridal Sweet" in the carriage house. Carpet was stained, the room had a very musty odor to it, wall paper was peeling, and the tv is not a smart tv and lacks any sort of connections to any thing. Bed was fine but nothing spectacular. Bathroom fixtures were tired, needed a major polish, and the bathroom fan was comically underpowered for a jacuzzi tub steaming.

We stayed here in 2018 and the property had been recently upgraded (impeccably) at that time, with upgraded fixtures, linens, etc., and offered high end bath products. Staying here this time was a shock at first. We noticed there is definitely a lower standard in the maintenance and upkeep of the inn. The carpets are worn and dirty looking, repairs in the room done without attention to detail (mismatched drape holders of a cheap material glued to the wall with a dark glue/ caulk, shower re-caulked in places with the same dark/ mismatched substance), bathroom pedestal sink not grounded to floor properly and has surface cracks, no remote to turn on the gas fireplace so we weren't able to enjoy that, and the bath soap was a tiny, paper-thin bar like I've never seen; mismatched shampoo/ conditioner. Most importantly, the outdoor lighting is so low that it's dangerous at night! The breakfast was good and the kitchen staff were so, so nice. We love the house and will likely stay here again but the management really need to improve on the details. Apparently the inn was sold a couple years ago. The property/home has a tone of charm. The pictures of the bridle suite doesnt show how large it actually is. A couple of things, pillows, to me and my husband were hard, the air conditioner is really loud. And unfortunately im super sensitive to light and thwnsmall wine fridge light kept me up....other than that was a lovely b and b.

We had an amazing stay at the Hennessy Estate. The room was spacious and comfortable with all the comforts of a hotel (i.e., excellent linens, in room safe, toiletries, etc.) in a wonderful B&B setting. The breakfast was perfect before wine tasting all day and we enjoyed being able to walk to downtown for dinner each night. We were lucky enough to be there while the owners were there and they were delightful hosts who treated everyone to a wine tasting in the house and were always one step ahead of us on anything we might need. We will definitely be back!

The location was quite good for Napa activities and downtown access. The breakfast was tasty but the egg dishes were always only luke-warm. But, my biggest complaint was the effort required to get the facility access codes. When we finally were able to contact a live person, they insisted they had sent the information. However, neither of my two email addresses (nor the spam folders) had the email instructions. Not what I needed after flying in from Santiago, Chile and spending 3 hours in Friday afternoon San Francisco traffic.

Beautiful estate home. Room layout was nice but cobwebs all over on light fixture. Hot water in shower literally took eight min to get to lukewarm (felt guilty for keeping it running but needed a shower). Rest of room very nice. Didn’t see staff at all except for breakfast crew. Food was ok. No other service- Not even check in/ out.

The staff at breakfast, esp Claudia, was so friendly and helpful that it made my stay feel very homey and welcome. The room was beautiful with a great thermostat and a comfortable bed. I definitely recommend it!

I called number with site and thank goodness was given code right away. The old carpet should be removed ! We should have been asked at check in would we want breakfast so they could be prepared for the # of guests. We had to ask for spoons for yogurt, salt for eggs. Little things yet they weren’t considered.

This is a very well-maintained classic Victorian Bed & Breakfast. Our room was very comfortable. The mattress and pillows were perfect. The Hennessy House is approximately four city blocks from multiple restaurants and shops. It is located in a very quiet area. We felt like it was safe, comfortable and extremely convenient. The breakfast of poached eggs on toast with avocado and bacon was delightful.

My two sisters and I stayed in the upstairs hideaway at Hennessey House last weekend when we had a girls’ trip to Napa. This is very much a no-frills property. It was perfect for our needs, because when we go to Napa, we are not really interested in spending time or money at a hotel – – we want to save that for the wineries and restaurants! Hennessy House is a beautiful old Victorian home a few walking blocks from downtown Napa is a very quiet neighborhood. Communication with reservations was excellent. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff very friendly. Room was large and comfortable. My only suggestion would be larger sign plaques on the bedroom doors to make it easier to find your room.

I called number with site and thank goodness was given code right away. The old carpet should be removed ! This was our first time staying at bed and breakfast and it was amazing. They had all the amenities downstairs including toothbrushes, shave kits, shower caps, everything. They had a cooler with waters and gatorades. Breakfast was really good. The location was perfect, we walked everywhere.

Located just a 3 min drive from downtown (10-15 min walk)- you are close enough to the action but away from the busyness. The property is a Victorian home that has been updated with a nice modern twist. With lovely sitting nooks, outdoor nooks, pool/hot tub/sauna, and a freshly made breakfast… you could stay in and lounge all day if you wanted to! Everything was super easy.
