I was very unhappy that I reserved this room thru Expedia but was never told that the pool wasn't in use yet nor was the hot tub not working (with no scheduled repair date.) I thought the desk gal was rude when she pointed out to me THREE times "We HAVE a pool and a spa." When I told her I reserved this room because of those two things, I was told due diligence is up to me? Really? I can't assume the pool and spa are working?? There was no notice on their website. Shame on Travelodge and shame on Expedia! I felt taken advantage of. Too much money for just a so-so room and no amenities.

You get what you pay for. After a long day of driving, my kids really wanted to stop at a place with a pool. Unfortunately, the pool looked like a green swamp. So no pool. We went up to the room and there were cobwebs all of over the corners of the room, with tiny nats everywhere. These weren’t little cobwebs either, crazy to think the room was “cleaned” but these big ol cobwebs weren’t seen. Everything felt sticky. The beds were horrible and not attached to the bed posts which was annoying when you moved around. The only plus was that the staff seemed nice. We were happy to leave :)

The swimming pool covered by huge black tarp full of dirt docks and leaves and it stinks. Hair in the cups on the sink. No battery in the smoke detector the door of detector was open. There was a big drop off to the kitchen on the floor but the Vinal wood concealed it so I tripped and fell against the fridge. Hurt my foot and shoulder. You should not use the wyndum or how ever you penance it. And almost 100 dollars a night rip off. I am disabled we stayed two days because I really hurt my foot the room was not that clean. I have pictures of smoke detector. No elevator and I am disabled and had to climb steps several times hard to do with a walker. Wasted my money on that room I should have stayed at the same place I stayed at heading to San Diego. Staff was friendly with what they had.

Dirtiest room ever , bathroom light didn’t work. Inside fridge there were still left over pizza, chipotle from previous people, floor was sticking to feet, stove top wasn’t cleaned well. We did late check in at 2am between the drive so had to adjust with whatever we got.

The property itself was ok, however, our sheets and bedding were filthy with dog footprints and dog urine stains. When we called the front desk they said to come by and pick up clean sheets. We had to make the bed ourselves, but it was really late and we were tired so just dealt with it. When changing the pillow cases, we saw that one of the pillows was disgusting!. We found a big dead bug on the floor and things were very dusty. The front desk said they would let the owners know, not much sympathy there. Our experience at this hotel was not a good one.

Beds were clean and comfortable. Laminate floor was flithy! We realized the floor was turning our feet and socks black. Rest of the room looked clean but it made me wonder. Breakfast was good. Kids loved the pool. As we were going to bed we realized the hide a bed wasnt made up and there were no sheets in the room.

The lady I spoke with on the phone was nice and when I checked in the man was rude and told me I was late for for check in and said I was a no show when I already paid in advance… the room was dirty and the sheets had stains and towels all had stains as well, the walls were all chipped paint and the floor boards looked like they have never been cleaned . I was not happy at all with our stay. I will never stay there again!

Our room was difficult to enter due to a faulty door knob/jam. Bed was so worn we could feel the springs beneath the mattress. It also rolled when we leaned against the bed board. I had to put magazines against the wheels. The bathroom fan was metal on metal grinding and no one was available to fix it. My wife tested the floor and the paper towel came back thick with black grime.

We booked 3 nights - As we checked in around 7pm and got our first room ( foreshadowing) we found hairs in the beds We asked to change and Room#2 reeked of sour milk , back to the front desk 😩 Room #3 also had hairs in the “ freshly “ maid bed and floor was scuffed and dirty .. room #4 had the Sam issue but by them were were beat , cleans up and slept the night ! In the morning we asked to leave and due to our experience cancel the rest of the stay! The hotel would Not refund up the 2 nights we did not stay !! ( see pics from all 4 rooms ) Find other accommodation!!

The room and bed were very comfortable. The King Suite had a sofa bed and there was a small kitchen area with a microwave, fridge, stove and oven. The only things I couldn't find were utensils and paper towels. I would suggest an upstairs room if you are a light sleeper since the hardwood floors did nothing to attenuate sounds from the room above. My biggest complaint was the internet. I needed to work while I was there and the router kept dropping out for 5 or 10 minutes at a time. This was both frustrating and time consuming. A shout-out to the two women I met working the front desk (Sunny and I think Kathleen(?)). Both were very personable and a pleasure to deal with!

I enjoyed the stay here but one flaw was the walls are paper thin and the people next door had a baby that would not stop crying all night. It ruined our stay a bit and it was hard to sleep through it. Otherwise it was an overall nice stay.

it is not 5 star so minor problem didn't bother us. Like its a challenge to open the door or no toilet paper holder. The room was way bigger than the other hotel/inn with same price in the area. My 2 small dogs were able to play around. Its clean, quiet, safe, convenient and good continental breakfast... we are definitely staying here again.

1. This is basic lodging, but done right. Clean, quiet, comfortable, convenient parking on the property and steps away. 2. The included breakfast was superior. Warm eggs and sausage were available, and enough other options to satisfy most people. 3. What sets this hotel apart -- WAY apart -- is the reception staff. At evening check-in, the woman was downright friendly and personable. In the morning, the at the reception desk was equally nice and communicative. Staff went above and beyond to help us as I had injured myself and couldn’t do stairs. She figured things out so we could have a room on the main floor. Breakfast was very good and all the staff were very friendly.

This was the worse experience ever. Pulled up with the desk clerk yelling to me not to pull into their parking lot as I was in a UHaul truck. Then she was locked out of the office, had to ask someone to break in to unlock the door. Then when we went in to check in she said we would have to park the truck a block away on a very busy road with homeless people walking around. When I asked if they would claim responsibility for my truck I’d anything happened she said no.. and proceeded to tell me fine don’t stay here, I’ll sell that room in 5minutes & was very rude. She was absolutely the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with.

The staff are awesome to deal with long with how the place is set up. I felt really secure with my tools in the back of my pick up.

The stay itself was rather nice, although our bathroom door handle was practically falling off. My main complaint is that I accidentally left behind a very special flask, and the front desk staff refused to answer the phone for days. I eventually got a hold of them, and it seems as though one of the staff has stolen it, considering their response is that the flask is gone. I know for a fact it was left in the (impressively full sized) refrigerator in my room, so either the fridge was not cleaned and the next guest stole it, or more likely, the cleaning staff decided to be dishonest and keep it for themselves.

The staff were wonderful. Sunny at check in and Heather at check out. These people care about your experience. Very refreshing service. Room was clean, large, and comfortable. Hot breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Pool area looked very inviting tho we didn’t have time to use the enjoy it. The people had some unique and lovely plants both in the lobby and outside. The location was safe and convenient. A very pleasant stay and good value.

I chose this hotel for convenience and price - it is actually quite nice with an excellent pizza place just two doors away. The lady at the front desk (Alex) is wonderful! She made sure I had a good, quiet room that was ready to go.

Traveler from out of town. The area felt unsafe. The towels were filthy. You could see dirt on them. The grounds are old and unkept. Had it I see the place before booking, I would not have stayed.

Most motels in towns on Interstate 5 are very close to the freeway, which definitely is 24-7 regarding traffic. But this one, and a couple neighboring motels, is far away from the freeway noise, making for a nice quiet stay. The rooms are only average to slightly above, but for the price of roughly $100 per night, I was happy with the value I got. They also have a coin operated laundry, which is a plus even though I did not use it this time.

First time staying in Redding. Hotel was quiet and conveniently located to nearby shopping/dining and local places of attraction. Room had a small kitchenette, which made it very convenient to eat within a strict meal plan/diet. Onsite breakfast was also made available to guests. Staff was incredibly nice and quick to respond to any inquiries.

A good location for me close to Lake & Market, on Market St. with adequate parking. Within walking distance to Sundial Bridge and Turtle Park. The room with kitchen facilties was very useful, as was the aircon-heater. Room servicing was quite regular, though I kept the DND sign on the door each morning due to jetlag. An in-room mini safe would have made it perfect. Overall it was good value for money.

Last minute booking, I had 3 options. Super 8, Motel 6 and this place. I think I picked the better of the 3. The property is a place I would not prefer to stay at again. Lots of tweakers in the area and sketchy people in the parking lot. You know when you pull up and there is a sign stating “we are not responsible for theft or damages” you more than likely picked the wrong place.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Staff was so friendly, helpful and nice. Breakfast was great, coffee good and the hotel was close the the highway! I recommend this as a quiet stop off of 5.

Older hotel but we’ll kept. Rooms were clean but some things needed help( full size refrigerator in our room that was old but works well). Parking lot was small and hard to park large vehicles. Great little spot. We found it to be very clean and the beds were comfortable. There is no elevator so if you are on the second floor be prepared to haul your stuff up. Especially if you have young kids in tow. Breakfast was good! Different variety

The property was clean and seemed very safe. Breakfast was pretty standard - waffles, eggs, bagel, cereal. Although the hotel accepts pets, they had pet free rooms; great for an allergy sufferer. However some inconsiderate guests brought their yappy dogs to breakfast; that pissed me off, but at least I was able to sit away from them. Overall, it was a great value for our stay.
