Check-in was easy, the pool and hot tub were not open. We did search by that being an option but it was too cold to use anyways so was not a big deal. We also got a late check out just for an hour but they did not communicate that so a house cleaner opened the door while we were in the room.

We rented two adjoining rooms. Neither refrigerator worked. We had to throw away food that spoiled. No coffee in the lobby in the morning; employee made a fresh pot but had to wait 20 minutes. One bedroom had no knobs or latches on the doors and could only be opened from outside after door was shut. Key cards for locks took several tries to work. Very frustrating trying to get in and out. Site said there was a pool but it was empty and under major repairs. Check in was good and the employee was very helpful.

We stayed summer 2023 the pool was a huge attraction for us, we didnt know the pool was unavailable this year, a little disappointed!! Not a game changer, but a disappointment!!

Overall, nice affordable hotel option located near downtown Redding. There's a community pool & restaurant on-site. The room has the basics, was comfortable & suited me well during my road trip. Check-in was easy at the front desk. The parking lot is a bit tight & snug. But overall, a good experience. I would stay here again.

Pros: Staff was great, very friendly. Rooms were clean and well taken care of. Close to stores and restaurants. Cons: No vending machines, the cable wasn't working and the pool looked like it needed fixed so it was closed. It was a great place to stay. We felt safe in the area. There is a great restaurant in the parking lot area and a Safeway across the street. I would stay at this hotel again.

the property is decent, and a good deal for a budget overnight stop if your headed north or south on the 5 fwy. it has a resturant /bar on site and well lighted parking lot with cameras, I have been traveling Seattle to LA a lot and used the Motel's right off the fwy but have had problems with car theft and riff raff at those. This place is a Mile or so off the fwy and right in downtown, so good resturant choices.

The staff was friendly. The place is an older style. The rooms were small which was okay but the dirty room was not okay! You could obviously tell the room had not been cleaned decent in a long while. I liked that they had laminate floors instead of carpet, but it was so gross. Had not been mopped in a long time. It was filthy under the desk, furniture, and the corners had piles of dirt in them. Pool was out of order. Room said it slept 4 but we only received 2 towels. Got a little tiny individual pack of Kleenex, not a box of Kleenex. Would not recommend to family or friends. Will never stay here again!

The bedding was dirty and smelled bad. I realize the comforters don't always get changed, which is gross but we usually just pull them off, but the sheets had dirty spots all over them and smelled awful. There was something smeared on the comforters. We ended up using our own blankets and pillows. Also, the floors hadn't been swept in a while an the towels smelled worse than the bedding. We arrived late, around 11pm and had to park behind the building, which was super sketchy with people lingering around. After we got home, I realized my car had been keyed. This is not really a fault of the establishment but sharing a parking lot with a bar could maybe be resolved. Maybe bar patrons should have to park behind the bar and the motel parking lot should only be for those patrons. Just a suggestion. We live in southern Oregon but are from central California and travel to and from quite a bit. Will definitely not stay here again.

Would not recommend unless you’re desperate. Floors were so dirty our kids feet turned black walking in the room after 5 minutes, the towels were stained and dirty (like they were not washed between guests). God only knows how gross the beds are… on the positive side, it was affordable and convenient location.

Staff at check-in were very busy but also very polite to me and all the others in the lobby. Not excited by the room which wasn't very clean. Every hotel/motel I've ever been to, the bed covers are tucked in, these beds weren't tucked in at the ends, only the sides which was and looked unkempt.The bed sheets are very rough sandpaper feeling. Bathroom: although the TP was folded over, there were sheets of TP on the floor, so I grabbed clean tp from the roll to pick up the TP sheets on the floor, I then found black curly hairs on the floor which grossed me out, in addition when I wiped up the floor the TP was blackened with dirt, like the floor had not been cleaned/mopped. There is dry caked dirt in ever corner around the room from never being wiped after being repainted. The motel appears somewhat remodeled but looks more like a DIY Job. The tiles at the top of the shower are peeling away from the wall. Towels: there is one bath towel for 3 people in the room. In the morning I will have to go to the lobby to request bathroom towels.

It was a decent place for the price, but when we got into our room, there was a faint but consistent sewage smell. We couldn’t figure out where it was coming from because the bathroom actually smelled ok. It wasn’t horrible, but definitely unpleasant. There was also a black widow hanging from the air conditioning unit, which was quite disconcerting when we were about to spend the night.

It was extremely lacking in sound-proofing. I was disturbed all night long by other customers on either side of my room-their tvs were on high volume all night long. Also, I was traveling alone with sensitive documents and there was no internal extra safety long that would prohibit anyone else with a key from entering the room while I was sleeping or in the shower. I consequently did not relax and rest well. Please install those extra security latches that prohibit entry into the rooms from unwanted intruders.

Nice, clean and comfortable. No cups for the in room coffee. Parking was horrible, spaces were tiny and hard to come by. Unsure if there was more than one ice maker, but only one we found was way up by office, and had to have it turned on by office staff to get ice. The floor near bathroom was a trip hazard because it had bubbled up. Bed and pillows were nice. Good a/c and room was nice and cool which is great for Redding.

First room air conditioning was not working after about 1 hour on. We were able to switch rooms but new room door keycard was not working. We pushed the door very hard and it opened. But keycard was not working to open the door. We were just staying the night so left as is. The air conditioner worked but not strong enough to cool the room. It was very hot that day.

I have stayed at this hotel four times before. Every time the room is clean, comfortable, and enough pillows. However, although this time room 105 was clean, comfortable, and enough pillows, the TV was not working properly and could not be fixed. The sink and bathtub drains were blocked.

I checked in without being told there was no television or internet. It was near midnight and when confronted and asked to cancel because I needed internet to conduct my work, the front desk and owner refused even cancel my second night stay and repeatedly insisted I was told. I spent 15 minutes on the property and was gaslit and treated terribly when I wanted to check out and find more suitable accommodations. DO NOT book this location over third party or otherwise. Because it’s barely a 2 star establishment and they have no willingness to compromise or meet a guests needs. It wasn’t very clean, offered nothing extraordinary and even talked negatively about locals. The hundred dollar deposit should have warned me they were scamming people. They STILL days later refuse to answer the phone when Expedia has tried to contact them. It may look like a deal, but it’s really just a scuzzy motel pretending to be something more than they are. You’re better off booking night of at any other establishment in Redding.

Wasnt told that there would be a $100.00 deposit on the room plus the cost of the room. And then was told i would get my deposit back when i checked out the next day, wrong! Then was told that i would have to wait untill 1 p.m n after the room was checked. I still haven't got it back at8p.m

This place is quiet and comfortable. Everything is clean and well kept. There is always parking even when the hotel is sold out. The staff is super friendly especially when we arrive late at night, tired from the drive. The Safeway across the street is convenient for food and anything you forget to pack. Also has a gas station.

I checked in without being told there was no television or internet. It was near midnight and when confronted and asked to cancel because I needed internet to conduct my work, the front desk and owner refused even cancel my second night stay and repeatedly insisted I was told. I spent 15 minutes on the property and was gaslit and treated terribly when I wanted to check out and find more suitable accommodations. DO NOT book this location over third party or otherwise. Because it’s barely a 2 star establishment and they have no willingness to compromise or meet a guests needs. It wasn’t very clean, offered nothing extraordinary and even talked negatively about locals. The hundred dollar deposit should have warned me they were scamming people. They STILL days later refuse to answer the phone when Expedia has tried to contact them. It may look like a deal, but it’s really just a scuzzy motel pretending to be something more than they are. You’re better off booking night of at any other establishment in Redding.

The desk staff was really helpful. I went to my room and found it not cleaned or prepared for checkin. The man at the desk immediately changed me to another room and was very apologetic.

Very close to bar with lots of noise. Police were called for disturbance with bikers at the bar and we could hear it from our room. To be clear, this was not in any way the inn’s responsibility, but it was inconvenient.

Staff and check in was great. Pictures and reviews are not representative of the actual facility and conditions. Outside smoking allowed in front of rooms. The smell fou d ita way into my space even with thw window open. Parking can be tricky if the hotel has high occupancy. Lots of homeless in the area.

Good location, it was near a Safeway and a couple restaurants that you could walk to. It was also near a freeway so you could get to your destination pretty quickly. Room was clean, room service was good there was a little stain but they quickly took care of it.

the property is decent, and a good deal for a budget overnight stop if your headed north or south on the 5 fwy. it has a resturant /bar on site and well lighted parking lot with cameras, I have been traveling Seattle to LA a lot and used the Motel's right off the fwy but have had problems with car theft and riff raff at those. This place is a Mile or so off the fwy and right in downtown, so good resturant choices.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. I absolutely enjoyed my stay. The hotel is centrally located, the staff is super friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The restaurant on site - Lulu's has delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All of this for an affordable rate.

They do not accept local guests, my home was getting exterminated and I had to stay somewhere, I went to check in and was denied, it does not say anywhere that local’s reservations are not allowed…then they said sorry it is non refundable???… this place and policies are horrible, and terrible customer service went along with the disappointment.
