Our room was comfortable and mostly clean. Although the pull out couch did not have bedding. I got some from the front desk but the mattress had a blood stain. The pool area was fairly dirty with low stock of towels. The hot tub jets didnt work and hot tub was quite dirty and way too hot. Breakfast was decent. I do like the pre made omelets. But all juice was out and the pancake maker was out of service.

The ceiling in the pool area had many places where it was cracked and leaking water. As if their had been a flood on the floor above. The hot tub was also not working, or the heater was not working or the jets. All the staff was very friendly though and that is a plus

I have stayed here before and have had good experiences. This time though, my experience has not been pleasant. Upon arrival, the front desk rep. asked if anyone had called me. No-one had. The elevator was broken and not in service. Due to a recent knee injury, the thought of hauling luggage up several flights of stairs was not an option. Because I booked my stay through Expedia, I was asked to step aside while the front desk reps assisted 6 or more other guests in person and numerous guests on the phone before they came back to me. Even though I was first to arrive, 45 minutes later I was finally assigned my room. The general feel I had was that reservations made from "a third party" were not taken as seriously as reservations made directly through the property. The reps even referred to my reservation as being "a third party".

This was a newer hotel with everything you'd expect. There was an issue w/ the elevator and it wasn't working. This hotel was convenient & easy to find off the interstate.

The parking area was safe. The staff were generally helpful. The only concern.....the jacuzzi water was hotter than was comfortable. I was not able to stay in the water more than 10 minutes because my skin was becoming red. I believe the staff should monitor the temperature of the water better to avoid injuries to the guests.

We booked this hotel on the app about an hour before arrival. Both my wife and I have disability making it harder to climb stairs. Upon arrival and while checking in I noticed a sign that the elevator was out of service. There was no indication when booking that there was a problem with the elevator. They wanted to put us on the 3rd floor making us walk up three levels of stairs with 5 persons luggage. After calling IHG hotels number they put us on 2nd floor. The rate on hotels.com was a non refundable rate. Talking to other hotel guests I found out the elevator has been out of service for awhile. Possible Americans with disabilities act issue here. Don’t stay here unless you like lugging you and your families bags up stairs. Upon checkout I noticed another sign that the printers were not working, so they can’t print receipts. Who manages this place??? Tried to open window in room and the top hinge is loose and window not secure if opened. LOL.

Breakfast served in the morning. Standard breakfast. Sausage, eggs, biscuits, etc. different breakfast options to choose from. I got the two bed suite. Room is big. Beds are comfy. WiFi was a bit slow. Didn’t really see what they have on tv so unable to do review on that part. They had a small pool and wasn’t crowded when we went to use it but the pool is pretty small so glad no to many pool were using the pool at the same time as us. They also had a small hot tub same area as pool. Oh, pool is indoor and super strong chlorine smell plus because of hot tub the whole room a bit steamy (just FYI so you don’t get surprised). It was quite during our stay and I reserved in advance to check in was pretty quick.

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were very friendly. The parking was very limited and you couldn’t use side doors for entering (only leaving) so you had to walk around the building to get back through the front door. The staff said the owners removed coded access to all doors but the front, this seemed weird and felt unsafe to me.

The room was updated and very nice. Only complaint was my key wouldn’t open the side door from the parking lot and I was forced to walk around and enter through the front lobby. When I inquired about the problem with the front office staff, they made no effort to correct the problem and suggested I just enter through the lobby. Clearly I wasn’t the only person with the same problem and they propped the door open with a small box. Kind of defeats the purpose of having the door locked.

Within few minutes of entering the room we saw a cockroach in the bathroom. We went to the front desk and then they told me it is a cricket and not a cockroach. After some convincing they gave a us the only remaining room in the hotel which was smelling bad. So we went back to the original room and when opened the comforter to sit down on the bed, we saw multiple bed bugs. We packed our bags and left. Good luck staying here.

The carpet was dirty in the room, stained. No bath mat. There were no water cups (even plastic throw away type) in the room. Bar soap would be nice. The room was a bit noisy. The door to the room (106) didn't automatically close, which I find odd...maybe because it was a handicapped room? Not sure. On the plus side the staff were friendly, helpful, cheery. I appreciated the staff in the kitchen and at the front desk.

There was mold everywhere. On the ceiling and growing in the walls in the bathroom. We could smell it and the room was humid. We opened a window just to try and get the smell out. There was makeup smeared on the light and the shower safety bar was literally coming out of the wall. I tried to switch rooms but they didn’t have another suite. Turns out this room was above the pool and the moisture had created major mold issues. It should not be rented. This makes the top 5 nastiest rooms I’ve ever had to stay in. We will not be back.

I rarely provide negative reviews, but in this instance it's warranted. I booked this stay at the end of a week long trip. I booked 2 rooms as we were traveling with my mother in law who needs wheelchair assistance. I had called ahead of our arrival to advice we would arrive around 10pm and the desk agent assured that was fine. When we arrived they only had 1 room and stated they were totally sold out. The front desk agent stated that this was a Hotels.com (Expedia) issue and there was nothing he could do, even after I showed him my reservation details that clearly showed 2 rooms reserved! He called the manager who advised him to cancel the reservation. We called another hotel nearby and they luckily had 2 rooms. To add salt to the wound, Holiday Inn Express billed me for 2 rooms which they never provided! (remember they said there was only 1 room booked?) I called the Hotel to ask for the charges to be reversed as this must be an error and they directed me back to Hotels.com. I did connect with Hotels.com (Expedia) and they informed me that this was a Holiday Inn issue, but they would put a case in their system and would contact me in 72 hours. I am awaiting their response. I have used Hotels.com and have also booked Holiday Inn locations in the past with no issues, over many years. I will think twice moving forward.

I have stayed here many times always enjoy Redding I come here for work rooms are spotless and the airs will freeze you out which is great for the 110 Redding heat but I can’t say enough about Cassie and Carlie they were always helpful and so pleasant !! Cassie and Carlie go out of there way to make your stay by paying so close attention to detail to everything 5 stars will always stay here

Also, my room was not ready and I returned 30 minutes later to find that it still was not ready. I asked for a new room and was granted a new one, but the person helping me did not bother to tell me why it was taking so long and she barley said two words to me. I used to work in retail and a smile and communication can go along way to pleasing your customer. I did not feel valued or important to the staff

Worst property ever! Jill at the reception was extremely rude gave me attitude and tossed a pen at me. When we tried to add night she made it literally impossible. There was another man in the waiting areas who saw and listened to the whole situation and stood up for us saying it’s was unprofessional and he had seen them accommodate others with no issue and it was messed up to choose not to do it for us. Jill then adds another night for us and gives us such attitude when we asked for the receipt and I then explained it’s her job to provide us a receipt for our transaction and this process has been super frustrating for now reason and I would like to speak to her manager. Jill then stayed we don’t have a manger and I told her that’s absolutely absurd because someone has to be in charge. The other employee then called serendity the manger over the phone and Jill stated her version of the story left the part where she tossed the pen at me and when I told the manger Jill said she didn’t recall doing such a thing and the manger asked her to walk away from the front desk. This isn’t her first incident with a customer I’m sure of it and it’s not okay to have an employee who is this disrespectful and rude it’s unprofessional.

This property bar far deserves zero stars for their horrible customer service. Booked through Orbitz which I always trust and come to find out that the property was sold out when we arrived after traveling 5 hours to get there. We found out via phone cal from the front desk.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Darrell was amazing at breakfast! I have never seen anyone greet everyone and be as attentive as he was. He made us all smile. The hotel was very clean, the room was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable.

We were disappointed with the lack of cleanliness around the hotel, especially in outdoor areas like the balcony. We were unable to use our balcony due to several neighbors smoking marijuana. Also, it was not safe to walk around the hotel at night due to the trash cans being rummaged through directly under our balcony by the houseless population. Sadly, I would not stay at this location again.

Criminals prowling the businesses and vehicles in the immediate area. I saw criminal activity from my room window breaking into a business next door. I notified the front desk, but they were non-responsive to contact the local police and they had little to no concern for the clients safety that were staying at their hotel.

The staff was very friendly and the facility was clean. The breakfast was hot, but was often out of things. The brown sugar for the oatmeal was hard as a rock and the pancake machine was out the whole 12 days we were there. We often stay at these hotels. I noticed other locations are more attentive to their food service.

I almoat always stay at a Holiday Inn when i travel. This location was by far the worse. I was given a room with a broken light and outlet. One of the two exits where we could leave the hotel, the door was broken. We couldnt even eat breakfast in the morning during our stay due to nothing being restocked. Breakfast was offered until 930a and almost everything was gone before 9a. The fridge where milk and yogurt is kept was empty, pancake machine not working, cereal gone, bread gone. I mean 95% of everything just gone. Ive never seen that before even getting breakfast in the past closer to the end time. The staff was friendly though. But still regret my choice in where I stayed. Sucks to have had the extra food expense for two days when we had to make a family emergency trip, which was already an expense unplanned to begin with. I would not recommend that location.

The best customer service by Darrell, the gentleman working the breakfast service. His service was so good, helpful, gracious, and a hard worker. I am an administrator on travel and these things really stick out to me. His service was impeccable!

This is a run down dumpy hotel with dirty floors everywhere including all rugs and room shower. At one point I looked outside to see why a deisel truck was constantly running below my window only to discover it was my room air conditioner!

Could only go in the main lobby entrance to get to hotel rooms, once in u could have someone hold side doors to let u in with ur suitcases/etc. Staff not helpful. Just did u gotta come in the front door to get to all rooms, never said how to get to the rooms.
