What a beautiful place for an overnight getaway. Short walk to the beach from the hotel. Pool was closed, which was too bad. Otherwise great stay.

Near the beach, can see part of the ocean from the room. No A/C but the ocean breeze in June had it cold enough to sleep. Pool had a deep end of 7 feet which was nice.

Attractive, clean, well-maintained rooms. All of the upstairs rooms have ocean views. Comfortable bed. Basic cable channels on the TV. The room had a microwave, and decently size refrigerator. The appliances were well-maintained and in great condition. This hotel does not have an elevator for upstairs access, nor does it serve breakfast. However, the location was excellent for my visit to Hearst Castle, and the ocean view was exceptional. Plenty of parking available and pleasant, helpful staff. Easy access to the beach and local restaurants.

Room was nice. I would have liked a light over/near the desk to see better while using the desk; but I no problems with the room. Property had no breakfast or on-site dining. And reasonably close dining opportunities were limited. It had decent access to the Coast. The young lady at the check-in desk was very pleasant and helpful, and cheerful facilitated an early check-in. She made the stay a delight.

The property is an easy access from 101 freeway and has good parking. The room is clean with refrigerator and microwave. Sea breeze in is simple but meet all the needs for a restful stay at San Simeon.

This hotel is a little gem. Nice and quiet for a peaceful getaway. Only problem is there is no elevator but the stairs are not really that steep. Just beware if you have issues with stairs.

Very tidy and clean, everything to a good standard and condition. It showed that is was a well run and cared for hotel. Bed particularly comfortable and it was lovely to go to sleep with the sound of the sea.

Came out for an overnight trip with my husband and the hotel was such a cute little spot with the view of the ocean. Not very far from the freeway or other towns. Only thing we didn’t care for were the pillows, they were a little too firm for our comfort but nothing like brining your own can fix for next visit!

We loved our 3 night stay here! Everything was freshly done and the staff was very accommodating! The only issue we had was with the shower. The water just barely came out of the shower head. There was good pressure at the sink and out of the tub faucet. It has to be that a very restrictive shower head was used and it took forever to get the soap off the body and out of the hair. Big disappointment! Everything else couldn’t have been better! Thanks!

Overall our stay was good. Room was clean and it looked like it had recently been remodeled. The only thing we didn’t like was being next to the electrical room because all night you could hear this humming noise, so if your sensitive to noise I don’t recommend being next to it.

It's not much to look at from the front but the rooms are quite nice. The bed was so comfy I did not want to get out of it. The decor is up to date and clean. The windows have shutters that open and fold back so you have a clear view of the ocean. I would definitely stay here again.

Horrible service & staff. I had forgot & left an item of sentimental value in the room after checking out. With in less than 24hrs of checking out I called to report the forgotten item & got no help what so ever from front desk service. When reporting the forgotten item, front desk had no idea who cleaned the room nor have any records of who clean the room. Which leaves me to believe either staff or house keepers took the item. Nice hotel but poor staff & will never stay here again. This is my first bad review I’ve ever had to give a property I stayed at ever!

I stayed a night at this hotel everything was great up until I needed to check out the office times says they are open at 7:30am I went to check out at 8:30 am and no one was in the office and it was not open . I was not sure what to do with the key I did eventually leave it in the room . Customer service could be better but it was a nice stay and would use them again

We left our Kipling travel bag by accident and they mailed it to us. Maria was very patient and gave her extra mile to bring our huge bag to FedEx. I am so thankful because my wife's prayer booklet that is older than our kids was inside that bag. Aside from this the hotel rooms are clean, spacious and they clean the rooms daily.. Big plus for the microwave and refrigerator. Again thank you Maria.

Check-in was easy, and staff were friendly. I had an issue with the TV (Direct TV), but staff resolved it quickly. Overall it was a nice place to stay at a very reasonable price.

We loved our at Sea Breeze Inn, I received a complimentary called around midafternoon checking in date, they wanted to know what time I was arriving since office closes at 11 pm, I thought this was a really nice detail. When we arrived, the girl at the front desk (didn’t catch her name) greeted us with a smile since it was around sunset she gave us recommendations on where to watch the sunset which turned out to be a beautiful experience. It’s nice to still find excellent customer service and I really hope they value and take good care of their employees. Room was clean, comfy bed, and beautiful small nice hotel. Too bad we could only stay one night.

Maria The receptionist was rude and unhelpful. When I explained we needed a first floor room because they have no elevator, she said too bad. When I have agreed to take a Queen side instead of a king's eyes broom it was OK, But too narrow and too crowded. So we wanted to get a separate room And when we went to the office it was locked and closed. No can do. Slipped in the car.

The Sea Breeze Inn is in a nice location. Really enjoyed the businesses that were in the area, especially the Mexican restaurant and the restaurant where we ate breakfast. The whole community seemed to be participating in the upcoming Halloween celebration. However,the staff at the hotel were not very friendly and did not make us feel welcome.

This is a very clean and reasonably priced option for a well equipped updated room with a comfy bed. No balconies, but nice large windows for a morning view of the ocean. Decent TV viewing options. Cheery and efficient check-in. At least 3 restaurants nearby.
