They had one of the best breakfast we had at motels. The first day they had biscuits and gravy and sausage and boiled eggs. The second day they had omelet and sausage. They also had mini waffles and all the toppings you could want to put on them. My grandkids loved it! They also had the usual things to like yogurt, fruit, cereal. They offered hot choc, juice and coffee. The rooms was clean, staff was wonderful and pool was nice.

It was clean and the staff were very helpful. I was disappointed in the size of the pool it was to c CB old for me but my don had fun in it. The whirlpool was also not working while we were there.

Not sure how many of the rooms are remodeled but the one we got was and was very nice. They have a good morning breakfast and while they don't have a fitness center onsite, they provide free access to the well-equipped Durango Rec Center just a mile down the street - if you're looking for weights or some post-hiking light exercises. Hadn't stayed there before but would definitely recommend.

We had a street view with a partial view of the moutains! Breakfast was great! The pool was closed, due to a pipe burst, however, they gave out passes to the local rec center! Two Thumbs Up!

When booking there is a note the pool and spa are not open, No Mention of the complete renovation of the public areas. Active painting and tiling is being done all day and night. Smell is overwhelming and the workers were painting the room accessing the elevator, to the point when the doors opened a ladder was blocking exit of the elevator with paint brush and can in hand. Staff was friendly but there should be a notification when booking

First I did not get the king bed room I had requested. My tub was not cleaned and still had water and hair in it. There was a little nightlight plug in the bathroom which was nice but in the morning i noticed it was burnt on the back. Yikes.

Never again. This property is shameful. To lay a notice in a room to let you know about bugs is not ok. I do not appreciate waking up to find bugs on me in bed. In my clithes on my wster bittle in ny shies etc... Had to make sure every thing remained pacjed so the bugs did nit get into my suitcases. Do not need to have them brought home and deal with an infestation in my home. Had to keep air conditioner turned up to 60 degrees to freeze them in their tracks. 175.00 a night for this is nit acceptable. It was miserable. Asked to clean room. Went out day two and came back with bed and room still not cleaned. Took many pictures.

My husband and I stopped in for a night on our way to Arizona. We were exhausted and excited to relax in our room. The bathroom seemed as if it had not been cleaned before we checked in. Bed was missing the top sheet and overall the room felt dirty.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The building/room was clean, although it can be improved. The biggest issue in my opinion was the building itself and the amount of noise passes through the walls and door. I don’t think other guests were being loud, but I could hear TV of the next door guest, walking noise upstairs and in the hallway.

It was Hampton clean, but it was not Hampton Big. It reminded me of a remodel Days Inn no microwave in the room and the rooms are small . If I were Hampton Inn, I would take my name off That building!! was disappointed for the price I paid..

They really need to upgrade their mattresses, the bed was pretty uncomfortable. The doors slam so loud and you can hear everything in your room from the hallway and the other rooms.

We loved our stay here. Recently renovated the rooms are clean and tidy and the mattresses are amazing. Best sleep in a long time. The staff was helpful and kind. One improvement would be bigger towels for the pool/hot tub, they’re tiny.

After arriving on time to check in at 3pm, we were told that our room was not ready, but would be within 10 minutes. we waited approximately 1.5 hours for our room to be ready. Unfortunately we had a reservation at the Durango Hot Springs from 4:00-6:00 that we had pre-paid, non-refundable, about $75. While we thought that we would have most of an hour to settle in before going to the Hot Springs, we lost out on almost half of our soaking time due to the delayed access to our room. When we did get to our room there were no towels or drinking cups of any kind, and had to get these ourselves from the lobby and laundry stock room. In addition to the above issues, the sheets were scratchy and stiff, the guest elephants above us were annoying, and we had someone banging at our door at 6am.

When we arrived we were told that the room was not ready due to a staffing problem. Instead of having staff work to get the room i booked ready the manager on duty offered me and my wife candy and soft drinks as an appeasement. To clarify I booked a handicapped room. The on duty manager eventually offered me a regular king room that i just took because i was so tired. I waited in the lobby for about 30 minutes before i hot a room, and the on duty manager did nothing else to make it right.

Just a 28 minute drive from Purgatory ski area. We particularly liked the morning breakfasts. There are 2 very good Japanese restaurants only 7 to 9 minute away by car: Pop Sushi and East by Southwest Sushi. They both open at 4:30 pm and have Happy Hours from 4:30 to 6 pm.

The microwaved breakfast was the grossest thing we've ever seen, especially for the price of the room. The sausages and egg omelets were microwaved for too long and dried out. The potatoes were unevenly microwaved. I made a pb and jelly sandwich with yogurt. Not staying there again.

The front desk staff was always helpful and kind, the last morning there was NO breakfast due to staff, although they could’ve offered a continental breakfast at the least, this caused us (family of 6) to spend more than $50 that we weren’t expecting

A good place for an overnight stay. Near downtown Durango, right on Hwy 550. Good parking, and many carts to bring belongings to the room. Nice size room, with big tv, and decent toiletries. We had a big king size bed, which was too soft for my liking, but I slept well, having nice blackout shades. We didn’t have time for the pool or hot tub. Breakfast offered many basic options, and was nice to have available.
