Everything was good except after checking in. We found out there is a 10.00 a day parking fee, and a 5.00 a day property improvement fee. I feel that is just money grabbing on top of the fact that it was pretty pricey to stay there. If this property was downtown where parking is a commodity,It could be justified. This property is in the city limits but not downtown.

Front desk staff was excellent and customer service was amazing. However the hot tub was very dirty, the blow dryer was a fire hazard, and the elevator was broken during my stay (not your fault I know!). I appreciated that the front desk staff comped my parking because of that, but it was still frustrating to have to lug all my things up and down the stairs after paying $300+ for my stay.

We enjoyed the extra room of their 2bdrm suite but given the pool was cold and dark (not family friendly), no ice machines available, parking available only at an extra charge, breakfast was hit and miss for a Residence Inn was vastly overpriced.

The property was just an average place. The room was large and had all the amenities needed. The shower leaked due to poor installation of the shower doors. The breakfast was ok but was the same every day with the exception of meat choice. The elevator was broken and we were not notified before our stay and our room was on the top floor right on the highway, so it was loud most of the time. The hot tub looked dirty and smelt like heavy chlorine so we decided not to enter it. The staff was the best thing about this hotel. I give it a 3/5.

Good location and nice space. Could hear a lot the floor above us. Our room on the corner had 2 bathrooms but one does not have an overhead light at the sink, kind of awkward. Some of the outlets don’t work. Pool floor was wet and very slippery. The pool and hot tub were great! Breakfast was plentiful, loved the options and the oatmeal bar. Front desk helped me get ice for our cooler, very kind staff.

The ELEVATOR has not been operable since April! Why is this? No explanation was offered. There are baggage carts in the hallways upstairs. Can you say, "Fire hazard"? The staff was friendly and the place was very clean. The pillows were soft and the beds comfortable. BUT c'mon no elevator?

Room smelled of cigarette smoke and there was a problem with live and dead insects in the bed and the window sills. Staff was great, breakfast was great, always warm coffee available. Plenty of parking.

I love staying at this place when I go to work in Durango it’s perfect. It’s a walkable to downtown. It’s close to the hospital. I work at the Dogs are allowed. It’s clean. All the employees are lovely.

Nice breakfast options. Room was dirty smelling like rank clothes. Not sure if it was the bedding or the closet. The smell was strong near the closet. Closet floor was dirty. Fingerprints on all the white doors. It needed a deep clean. Literature hanging on the refrigerator had food grime and fingerprints on it. I went to the gym and grabbed Lysol wipes and wiped all down. Couch was filled with stains. Put the extra sheet over it.

The location is nice, close to town and shopping. I checked in on a Friday and there was a leak in the shower, which was close to the bed., annoying! It was not addressed until Monday. The shower area really needed some deep cleaning as there was mold along the floor. The shears need to be replaced, there were holes in them. I was shocked that there was a $10.00 a night parking fee, they do list this but I missed seeing it on the listing. The room was nice just not a place I would stay again and I have been coming to Durango for 18 years.

Front desk staff was friendly, albeit he was the only one on the property - doing it all, washing windows/entry doors, stocking, etc. Room was great! Immaculate - couches are vacuumed, bed comfortable, love the amenities of having a kitchenette, seating area, couch/tv. Some say the property is dated, living in a mountain town, I think it has a lodge/mountain feel - reflective of the area you're visiting. I would stay again. It met all of our expectations.

Great property! Rooms were roomy and comfortable. We had a great view of the mountains plus there were great trails close by. It was close to the main street of Durango. Nice breakfast. Great staff and dog friendly. I would definitely come back.

The elevator was out of order, and we were put on the 3rd floor. There was a 10$ per night parking fee which was waived because the elevator wasn't working. There were small black bugs in the room that we reported but were never dealt with. The Wi-Fi was marginal in our room but may have been better if we spent $5 a day for the "enhanced" Wi-Fi. There was supposed to be daily room service, but it was every other day.

We were originally put in a room on the ground floor next to the egress door to the parking lot, and quite literally got zero sleep. The door slamming shut all night is directly on the other side of the headboard of the bed, and there’s little to no insulation in the wall. We let the front desk know, and they were very quick and courteous in assisting with a room change. From then forward, our stay was great! Clean room, courteous staff, great location. (Just avoid room 118!)

We had an extended stay for a week in a studio suite. The breakfast was good with a great selection of hot and cold breakfast items. Including eggs, sausage, bacon and waffles. The only thing that made the stay less than stellar was the water pressure in the shower and the television- there is no guide and finding anything is impossible with the station numbering. With this being an extended stay hotel people will probably pass some time watching a little tv but forget trying to find any semblance of a station. The front desk will provide a printout of the channels but why does it have to be so difficult? Next time we will bring our firestick. All in all it was a good stay.

From the excelent, fast, friendly check-in with John, to the comfy bed, large, clean room, and great breakfast options, We would definitely stay here again! Also liked the indoor pool, hit tub and fitness room, though didnt have the chance to use them. Easy walk into historic Durango and the bike path!

The master bedroom was cold and the other rooms were warm. One of the rooms had many many bugs. The garbage was not adequate and i couldn't replenish the paper towels. The breakfast was very good there were many options however there were no potatoes. There is no ice machine which made it inconvenient we had to get it from the front desk.

Our room was on the second floor. When we brought our bags in, we noticed the elevator was out of order until further notice. We asked the guy at the desk and he said we had already “most definitely” been notified by email that we would have to use the stairs. I tried showing him my emails that most definitely did not include that info but he refused to look at them. He also gave us room keys that didn’t work. When we went back to the front desk to take care of it, he told us we didn’t know how to use the keys and came around to show us on three different doors. It didn’t work for him either. He had to give us new room keys. Very rude night staff.

I booked through Expedia and everything was great I got to the Hotel and the guy behind the Counter, John, told me that they didnt have a room for me even though i had confirmation of a room and my payment went through. He also told me that the 3rd party over booked and there was nothing he could do. So, I called the Expedia and straightened it out and they contacted the hotel and the hotel was actually the ones that over booked by not updating their website. Expedia was able to get my payment back and helpful in resolving the issue.

We were originally put in a room on the ground floor next to the egress door to the parking lot, and quite literally got zero sleep. The door slamming shut all night is directly on the other side of the headboard of the bed, and there’s little to no insulation in the wall. Due to poor working conditions, I needed to check out of my hotel in Cortez early, and the staff was not only able to get me an early check-in but were also exceptionally kind during my four-night stay at the property. I needed to come into town for some business engagements during SNOWDOWN week, one of Durango's busiest weeks. I have been on the road A LOT this year, and my time in Durango was exceptionally pleasant. I honestly was sad to leave and head to Denver for my next leg of the trip.

We went to check in to this hotel that we had previously reserved. When we arrived late afternoon, we were informed that they did not have available rooms and sent us to a sister hotel down the street. This has never happened before and it was very disappointing. Never trust your reservations at this hotel, even if it is prepaid like ours was.

As we checked in, we were told that there would be a $10 per day charge for parking. Considering we had already put out a decent amount of money for the room, that should have been included. I would have been happy to provide a license plate number to track that we were staying there. The guy who checked in wasn't very friendly and the person checking us out wasn't very thorough.

The person at the front desk, John was very short with me and my husband. He said we booked a handicapped room as those are discounted rooms. I hadn’t done that at all and it made me feel embarrassed and like I was cheap. We had an issue as the refrigerator in our room didn’t work so my husband went to talk with him and he said he would take $10 off our stay. In the morning I asked him about it and he said, I already explained this to your husband, maybe he just doesn’t understand, also very short with me. I just really felt like he was condescending and like he didn’t have time to help us, maybe he thought he was better than us. Anyways, I will never go back there again.

Great property! Rooms were roomy and comfortable. We had a great view of the mountains plus there were great trails close by. It was close to the main street of Durango. Nice breakfast. Great staff and dog friendly. I would definitely come back.

I love staying at this place when I go to work in Durango it’s perfect. It’s a walkable to downtown. It’s close to the hospital. I work at the Dogs are allowed. It’s clean. All the employees are lovely.

From the excelent, fast, friendly check-in with John, to the comfy bed, large, clean room, and great breakfast options, We would definitely stay here again! Also liked the indoor pool, hit tub and fitness room, though didnt have the chance to use them. Easy walk into historic Durango and the bike path!

Stayed in the 1 bedroom suite. Did not like that access to the bathroom was through the bedroom so I got woken up every time my son opened my door to walk to the bathroom and close/open that door. Who thought that was a good design? Breakfast was small and I saw neither hot food or fresh fruit - the only things I would consider eating. So I basically got nothing to eat. The cheap pastries were a joke and there was only 1 muffin left at 8am. I got coffee, that was it.

The front desk staff was really great! The coffee was really great, the breakfast was above average (egg white fritt for the win) and the staff was super nice and helpful. Loved this location and would highly recommend for anyone traveling through Durango.

We enjoyed the extra room of their 2bdrm suite but given the pool was cold and dark (not family friendly), no ice machines available, parking available only at an extra charge, breakfast was hit and miss for a Residence Inn was vastly overpriced.

Some of the outlets don’t work. Pool floor was wet and very slippery. The pool and hot tub were great! Breakfast was plentiful, loved the options and the oatmeal bar. Not the most kid friendly pool. But we still made it work. We we're not able to check in early because the rooms weren't ready, front desk said they were short staffed. $300 for 1 night and we didnt even get sheets for the sofa bed. Everything else was okay.
