This is a great little roadside motel. Rooms are updated and clean, nothing fancy, but good. Very dog friendly with 3 areas for the dogs. Free breakfast was very good. Only downside was parking lot is very small and tight. Full-size trucks will have a problem.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Room accommodations were great with large room, desk, large walking area you can put your horse in if needed, separate area for sink, refrigerator, microwave, keurig and an extra sink apart from the toilet and shower. Wi-Fi is reliable and fast. TV is large and if you have a doctorate in remote controls {why 2?} you maybe able to change the channels/apps. The only challenge was the parking in that there were 20 pounds of cars crammed in a 10 pound parking lot. Most vehicles had bike carriers on the back of their cars and it made for a tricky maneuver to get in and out. Breakfast leave much to be desired with biscuits & gravy, pancakes, waffles, bagels, English muffins, something round that resembles eggs, and sausage. Coffee, orange juice, and milk are also provided. It's sufficient to get you going but nothing memorable. Overall the stay was pleasant and accommodations more than adequate. Oh yeah, having to make reservations to use the indoor or outdoor hot tubs was a little different. I hate having to know when I will feel like romancing the wife...especially with so many others around. I would rate this place as a 4.8 out of 5.

All lovely. Wish we would have known that the hot tub and sauna must be reserved and you cannot do that until you arrive. So don’t arrive after 3 pm if you want to reserve for the evening! Breakfast was like a chain hotel. It could be improved to suit the property. The rooms were very nice.

Such a cute place with amazing amenities. The salt water jacuzzi and sauna, and the outdoor hot tub were greatly appreciated as was the ability to reserve one hour. Staff was so friendly. Highly recommend.

Located out on the main Hwy 50, but still an easy drive to downtown & along the river. Many restaurant options of all sorts, within reach quickly. Very very clean room, and our "King Suite" was spacious + comfortable. The bed was very good. Also enjoyed the hot tub in each of our two nights. Hope to return.

Great hospitality, the staff was very helpful. It was nice to have the kitchenette in the room. In addition to the hot tub, a sauna and saltwater hot tub are available for guests to reserve. We had no issues parking but during busy times of year, it's possible the parking lot could be filled up by multiple large SUVs or trucks.

Unfortunately the room was dirty. Floor was dirty, furniture dusty and hair was in bed. We asked for a new room and got one right away. The new room was better but there was also hair in the bed. The cleaning staff needs to cover their hair. We have come her many times before. Before this visit we never had any issues. It was always clean.

The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. We could tell that the room was recently remodeled. Unfortunately, the walls were paper-thin and we could hear everyone around us. We were on the bottom floor, paid extra for a mountain view, and yet the people upstairs sounded like they were moving furniture. We could hear them talking, arguing and their pet upstairs running around at all hours of the night. The police cars in the parking lot were a bit unnerving as well. The staff seemed very kind and none of what made our experience less than enjoyable had to do with the staff. I just felt that we paid more for the room than we received in satisfaction.

Everyone was very nice and the property has utilized its space in great ways. Lots of little amenities which show that great thought has been put into the property. Our room was very large and comfortable, nice outdoor seating areas, and breakfast was nice. Fresh blueberries for the yogurt, pancake machine, biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage. Would definitely stay again:)

Older hotel has been upgraded. It had a nice feel and was clean. The bathroom was too small. I was on crutches and couldn't get in the shower or close the door when I used the bathroom. However, when remodeling the hotel, I can see there wasn't much that could be done about that. Could smell pot most of the night from neighbors. The bed was a true king size, not that small Hotel King most hotels have.

Aww man. I booked this place purely on reviews, but the room didn't spark joy. We had room #11 , which seems like a cool big fun room. However, they sealed up the fireplace, and it is right on the corner of a very busy street. The room backs up to that, and was incredibly loud. No blackout blinds, in fact 1989 verticals that are missing 4 blades. No dark and very noisy. Hvac is not good, weird reservations needed for hot tub instead of fcfs. No iron in room skip this one.

Fantastic little motel. The room was updated and very comfortable. There was a full breakfast every morning. My only issue is that the air conditioner was in the bathroom and that made it a little warm in the bedroom. Overall it was a great stay for the price

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Vail family suite was a great size for a family. It was nice to have a separate room for our toddler so she could go to bed early. The breakfast was tasty and had a decent variety. The saltwater hot tub and the sauna were a nice touch as well.

Liked the saltwater hot tub. Rooms are comfortable and clean, nothing extraordinary. Staff were incredibly rude. One of the employees accused us, wrongly, of using the hot tub without making a reservation. She never acknowledged the mistake nor did she apologize

The owner stayed after hours until I could get there because my trip was delayed. Superior service, the rooms are really well appointed with top-notch fixtures and amenities, especiallyfor a motor lodge of this vintage. Plus, they have a sauna and hot tub and other things that you just wouldn’t expect, including a great breakfast And all in this beautiful setting in the Colorado mountains. I wish every place I stayed came close to being as good as this place. If you’re traveling through this part of Colorado, you have to stay here. The Silver Ridge Lodge is top-notch.

Check in was great. Dawn was friendly & went over everything in detail. Our only complaint was there was a window on our door & we had to improvise something to block the view into our room. We didn't eat breakfast but I went down to check it out & it had a selection for everyone. Employee was very friendly & took the time to show me everything.

Jay was fantastic on check in. The office closed at nine and Jay stayed to wait on us till almost ten, just to make sure we didn’t have any problems. Extraordinarily hospitality, way above and beyond.

The front desk guy was very nice and helpful when we arrived for the weekend. We had no issues until our checkout. We had requested a late check out ahead of time and 3 separate times cleaning knocked on the door and even opened the door one time while we were in bed. Other than that our stay was fine.

The room had a cozy feel and it was comfortable. I enjoyed the walk to the downtown area and river. The fellow at the desk was really nice, informative and funny. The parking is tight.

We liked everything about this motel. The location was great— right across from Salina’s Aquatic Center, which features mineral spring feed pools. The room was very clean and had a bed that you didn’t want to get out of. Guest can sign up for an hour long private soak in their salt water hot tub, which was very relaxing. Lastly, the Silver Ridge Lodge has a friendly and helpful staff.

This place was awesome! I Unusually only stay at chain hotels but we gave this place a try after reading great reviews. It was very clean, our room had a full size refrigerator in it, great bedding and towels, the keypad doors were very nice and I felt very safe. The breakfast was great and overall this is a charming little place. We were very pleased.

This is an awesome 'motel' that has been rehabbed. Our room was perfect and balanced the old school feel (cool retro tile in the shower) in a totally redone room. It was spacious, bed was comfy, had a small fridge , microwave and Keurig. Breakfast was a 'continental plus' with eggs, sausage, B&G, Eggo type waffles and a pancake machine. Lots of other typical breakfast choices as well. We were very happy to discover this hidden gem in Salida!!

Nice place after skiing at Monarch. Appreciated the ability to book the hottub for an hour just for the family. Breakfast had some hot options but about average quality.
