There were positives to our stay but also some unfortunate negatives. The front desk is a virtual interaction with a person that is almost impossible to understand. So, check-in takes quite awhile. We normally have no problems with complimentary breakfasts at places like this as we aren't overly picky; however, we found rotten apples and stale cheerios. There was no filtered water dispenser, and the water in the pitcher was very warm and not tasty. I asked a staff person I managed to find if there was any honey, and she didnt seem to understand enough English to know what honey was. And, the breakfast area felt like a sauna despite the expected daily high temp to be 89. The door to our room didnt seem to open easily with the virtual key, and there was a broken chair on our balcony. On the positive side, the building and room were overall clean and updated. The parking lot was well-lit. The room was spacious and had double vanities.

This property is very clean, especially with vinyl flooring instead of carpet. The paint was chipping a bit in the room and there were definite signs of needing some updates, but that didn't take away from the cleanliness. The pool was the best part of the hotel - warm and clean. The housekeeping staff was very friendly, but they only come in your room if you specifically request something, otherwise they don't come in for 3 days. We had 4 people staying in our room, and had to request more towels and the bedding for the pull-out sofa. The girls were hesitant to give us more than 2 towels, but got to know us over the week and helped us out whenever I asked them in the hallway. It was odd not to have any other hotel staff on site. There was a kiosk to chat with a live person who was situated on the other side of the world, literally. There was no one to call when you needed something ... you had to go to the kiosk. We even got locked out of the building one evening at the pool because they changed the key card entry to the building but didn't notify guests. The main issue was the hot water went out after the first day we arrived and was out for the entire week of our stay. It was incredibly frustrating.

No storage in bath, very little hangup storage. Plenty of room to add storage in both spaces. Do not care for no personal contact. Need your people at front desk. Cleaning staff did great at getting us everything we needed. Pool cold & not clean. No towels, had to go back & get them, again no one there to ask! Nice size room, good beds & pillows.

The room was clean and appropriate, except for the leak in the ceiling when it rained! Not just a drip, but real leak on the desk, plus one in the bathroom. It appears it has leaked for a while because the floor beneath was spongy, not dangerous, but clearly results of water. We were in room 209, second floor of three. Checkin with a person on a screen was a little weird, but the person on the large screen was helpful and friendly. In chatting with them, we established one was in Instanbul, Turkey! Strange. Request for extra towels, breakfast and other items were definitely satisfactory.

Nice view of pool but too cold outside, nice room with fridge and microwave, good breakfast selection( adding sausage or bacon would be a plus) waffle maker was a plus, table with chairs in room was great for playing games. Water pressure in the bathroom is subpar. Water doesn’t get very hot. The beds are a little too stiff/firm, and the staff doesn’t speak any English, and they act annoyed when you try to communicate with them. After asking room service (via telephone), for an extra blanket for my bed, The staff took an hour to get a blanket to me, and wanted to argue about how they could not provide more than one blanket. After spending $150 for one night just to sleep somewhere, you would expect better service.

There is 1 housekeeper that doesn't speak English on staff. The front desk checkin is virtual. It took us over 1 hour to checkin nevause there were a few people ahead of us. Then our keys didn't work. Then the machine ran out of keys. After 3 sets of keys, the virtual person gave us a new room and 2 hours later we were finally in our room.

The room was clean. Fresh towels every day was great. Especially for being at the beach. There are a lot of room for improvement. We saw the same trash in the hallway and stairway all 5 days we were there. The digital key thing is a joke. It just randomly changed what room it would unlock. I am not a fan of the new trend of having a virtual agent check me in and out - a screen within someone from across the globe may be cheaper and it\'s not as comfortable as interacting with a real person. It just screams CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP to me. I will pay more to have the "luxury" of a real person watching the front door in the future. Who is watching the lobby if there was an emergency or a break in? Tourists are at risk and this is really poor stewardship of the establishment.

The Baymont was a very comfortable stay. They've remodeled the interior with a modern look. The room was well furnished, had comfortable beds, and I had a patio on the pool deck. As a resident of the area, and staying here because of hurricane damage, I can tell you that it's conveniently located to much of the Bonita Springs offerings. Some other info: 1. The front desk is unstaffed. There's a kiosk that connects you to a video call center in India (presumed). It worked well, and the guy on the other end was friendly and efficient. The kiosk dispenses the room key, scans your license, etc. 2. They have a complementary breakfast, but it's pretty basic. Bread/muffins, cereal, and the standard waffle machine. Cold items included hard boiled eggs and yogurt.

I liked that the room was well maintained and the housekeeping staff takes the extra mile to decorate with what they can every consecutive night that I stayed. The check in process was not personable as it is through virtual check in. When I needed help, it took a while for a human staff to come to the front desk. To add, the staff that is on does not speak English and had to call another individual to communicate with me. I do appreciate the offering of breakfast every morning, but it is subpar at best. The only protein source is cold hard boiled eggs and low-fat yogurt. The rest is carbs. More variety of protein sources and less of breads is recommended. Otherwise, it was an inexpensive stay over 5 nights. Would stay again for long-term stays.

The checkin and checkout process is impersonal. You do everything through a facetime call basically. Again, I asked him if I was all set and he said yes all I needed to do was drop the cards in the slot. Did not give me a receipt nor tell me anything else about the process afterwards or how I would receive my cash deposit. I am now back in Massachusetts trying to get my deposit back. I keep getting the tun around to the point that I’m going to have to take legal action.

Best parts while passing through Bonita Springs are this Wyndham Baymont, with easy access from I-75 and great network of roads down to Naples and up to Ft Meyers & beaches all around. This hotel is a fine, economic stop while traveling through or exploring the area.

We had a great experience at this hotel. Everything was clean, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The beach was just a 10-minute drive away, which made it super convenient. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was peaceful. We would definitely stay here again!

Fine for 2 nights. Clean room, clean pool, breakfast was OK for this hotel category and for the price paid. The pool was empty so we had good swimming training there :-) hotel service was OK. Close to city beach, close to Lovers Key beach For the price paid and value received, I would stay again.

There were positives to our stay but also some unfortunate negatives. The front desk is a virtual interaction with a person that is almost impossible to understand. So, check-in takes quite awhile. We normally have no problems with complimentary breakfasts at places like this as we aren't overly picky; however, we found rotten apples and stale cheerios. There was no filtered water dispenser, and the water in the pitcher was very warm and not tasty. I asked a staff person I managed to find if there was any honey, and she didnt seem to understand enough English to know what honey was. And, the breakfast area felt like a sauna despite the expected daily high temp to be 89. The door to our room didnt seem to open easily with the virtual key, and there was a broken chair on our balcony. On the positive side, the building and room were overall clean and updated. The parking lot was well-lit. The room was spacious and had double vanities.

We thought we had a good value for our money overall. Chose this hotel mainly for its location near the beaches, not far from the airport and pretty much in the middle of everything. The premises were clean and well-maintained. The room itself was quite large in comparison to other standard rooms with 2 queens. Easy access and parking. Clean and functional. Free breakfast was terrible and I had to fix the coffee machine to operate it. The coffee was also terrible. Check In was a large East Indian looking man that was on a live video screen kiosk. I assume that this is a cost saving measure. He didn’t smile, and he said as little as possible. This no nonsense approach was a bit creepy, and just plain weird. I interpreted him as a potential owner, with a high IQ and a low EQ because I don’t believe that if it was corporate owned and controlled that they would use this man as a first contact greeter. After having my “free breakfast” I spoke to other guests about check in and I referred to him as the wizard of oz! They laughed. I understand automation to control costs.
