The staff were all really nice. The pool areas were dirty. Mold covered the rugs in the indoor pool area and mold was growing around the edges of the pool. The hot tub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time.

The room was clean. The hot tub was dirty and not working. Breakfast offered time stayed 7-10 am however, it ended every morning around 8:30/9 am. This was disappointing considering I booked this facility on the basis that I would receive complementary breakfast. The staff were friendly.

What I liked: Everything was mostly clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Air conditioning worked great and there was a constant fan option. The things I didn’t like: very noisy amusement park next door till about 10 pm. Online says it closes at 9 pm but it went well past that. So don’t anticipate putting your kids to bed early. Room was small and so was the bathroom. Pool area needed some updating/ repair. But the warm indoor pool was great for the kids. I’d say for the price I paid it was worth it but I wouldn’t stay there longer than a couple of nights.

The comforter in one of the beds looked like it was not changed. Big dirt marks and debris on blankets. The blinds for the balcony room do not close all the way and you cannot turn off the balcony light to get a good night sleep in the dark. The hot tub was broken and heated pool stopped heating up around 9:30pm. Front desk advised you must purchase utensils. I was charged $124 through Expedia then charged double by the hotel, causing my account to lend $550 vs 240 I was supposed to pay. Just a weird experience I would not come back.

If you want quiet, don't stay here. It is on a major highway and right next door to a go-kart track, and on the flight path of nearby airport. The room was clean with balcony on third floor and you could see the water. The outdoor pool was refreshing and not crowded. The spa/hot tub was luke. The ceiling in the room was peeling and the fan was rusted but functional and quiet. The ice machines were on the second and fourth floors but the one on the second floor was out of order. Breakfast was sketchy. No creamer for coffee. Had to get milk from the cereal area. The hot water for tea or instant oatmeal was not even warm. There were two unleashed dogs running around in the breakfast area with the owners not paying attention. Would not recommend.

Check in was pleasant, the clerk was helpful and kind. Our room left a lot to be desired. It wasn’t very clean, hairs in the shower, stains on the sheets and the door didn’t close properly. The door was concerning as we were two women traveling alone.

The carpet in our room was not clean and we had to keep our shoes on from the bathroom to the our room. Our pillows and the bed sheets were stained really bad. Also the pool on the outside needs to be pressure washed, so again we had to wear pool shoes at all times. The breakfast was piss poor. All they offered was eggs, sausage and waffles. The syrup bottle was broken so that was no use for the waffles. I’m not sure how many rooms are in the entire building but only having one elevator was terrible, especially when the weekend came; wait time was awful so unfortunately we had to take the stairs from the fourth floor to the main floor. But the hotel was perfectly placed in the middle of everything so we were grateful to be next to Big kahuna water park and was able to walk to the beach and the go cart place.

The "included breakfast" is minimal to say the least. The cleanliness of the property was okay, but I did have to Febreze my room shortly after I arrived, and I killed a roach the 3rd day I was there. Otherwise, the bed was comfy and it was just a temporary stay so it fit my needs.

The room smells like mold, the front desk person was rude, the breakfast was not as pictured. The ceiling fan was rust. There isn’t a beach view from the balcony, and I couldn’t check out a day early without being charged full price due to an emergency with work. Over all this was a awful experience

The only thing i liked about this place was the location. But needs more care and maintenance Room was dusty, spiderweb by headboards and no room service. I paid for 2 night but left one day before. Elevator needs to be check up.

I recently stayed at this hotel and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The room had a terrible smell that never went away, and the beddings were visibly dirty and stained — completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful any time I asked for assistance. It felt like they didn’t care at all about customer service or basic cleanliness. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Spend your money elsewhere — you’ll thank yourself later.

I was very unimpressed with the employees and the room. In the room, on the bed, there are many stains, on the couch, and also on the shower curtain. When I turned on the water in the shower, it smelled very weird, like nasty sewage water. The employees were very unwelcoming when I first arrived.

We enjoyed staying here, close, convenient to everything, good value for the price. I only rated it 4 stars as the room I reserved, and payed a higher rate for the ocean view, indicated "Partial Ocean View" with balcony. You are not able to see the ocean due to the buildings and trees across the street in front of SummerPlace, blocking the ocean view. Otherwise, nice facility and we will definitely stay again.

Overall it was a good hotel. Will we stay again? Probably not. Needs the amenities updated (bigger fridge, new dressers, etc.) The air conditioner could’ve been quieter and colder and need blackout drapes for the balcony rooms but outside of that it was okay.

Check in went very well. No issues to note. The condition of the room, that is a different story. There are dark spots on the ceiling with peeling seen near the balcony door. The bathroom wallpaper is peeling in a few spots. The bathroom door sticks to the floor as you try to close it. Somewhat irritating that it doesn't close more smoothly. And the toilet height is pretty low to the floor. Maybe it is set-up more for small children. Overall the room works for an overnight stay.

Absolutely appalled at the way I was treated my not 1 but 2 employees!!! One posing as a manager and the other lying to my face telling me she was the manager. It all started off when I went out for a smoke and I came back in and realized I had left my phone ID and key card in my room. I went to the front desk and told her that I had locked my keys in my room, but my wife had booked the reservation. I had the credit card on file if she needed it and gave her my military ID She said that she did not have a reservation under my wife and I said will check my name and I gave her my ID. She said I don’t have a reservation under you. We went on back-and-forth arguing about this. She wasn’t gonna let me in my room for about 20 minutes… I’m on a cross country trip. I have everything that I own in that room and I cannot continue my trip until she lets me in that room and she is refusing and telling me I cannot get in that room. She won’t tell me the reservation on the room either so finally I said Check my full name First Middle Last as it’s shown on my ID and said my name out loud. And she said yes that is correct. Mind you, she had had my military ID showing my full name in her hand since the second I walked up to the desk. I didn’t get any sleep the night that I stayed there because I was so full of adrenaline and anxiety. So I came down for breakfast saw another lady there asked the other lady if it was the manager and she lied to me and said yes but she lied too! Give me a refund

I went to the front desk and told her that I had locked my keys in my room, but my wife had booked the reservation. I had the credit card on file if she needed it and gave her my military ID She said that she did not have a reservation under my wife and I said will check my name and I gave her my ID. She said I don’t have a reservation under you. We went on back-and-forth arguing about this. She wasn’t gonna let me in my room for about 20 minutes… I’m on a cross country trip. I have everything that I own in that room and I cannot continue my trip until she lets me in that room and she is refusing and telling me I cannot get in that room. She won’t tell me the reservation on the room either so finally I said Check my full name First Middle Last as it’s shown on my ID and said my name out loud. And she said yes that is correct. Mind you, she had had my military ID showing my full name in her hand since the second I walked up to the desk. I didn’t get any sleep the night that I stayed there because I was so full of adrenaline and anxiety. So I came down for breakfast saw another lady there asked the other lady if it was the manager and she lied to me and said yes but she lied too! Give me a refund

Front desk was more than non helpful and sounded like a robots checking people in. No geniune happiness that you were there staying at their establishment. Went to first room and reeked of weed. The over all building was okay, not really updated, but not a roach motel either. I think I would have been okay had the customer service been on par.

I have never written a negative hotel review because if I'm on vacation I always look for the positive. However, there were several problems with our two night stay. First, the gentleman working the front desk the day of check in was incredibly rude, no personality, and acted bothered that people were checking in. He mumbled, never made eye contact, and grunted more than he spoke. Upon arriving to our room, I noticed a few spots that could have been cleaned but the property seems dated so it could have been from age. However, the pull out sofa bed has holes in the cushions. There was absolutely no additional sheets, blankets, or pillows for our boys to use. Then, the air conditioner was so loud whenever running it woke us all up throughout the night both nights. It sounded like a spaceship landing when it turned on and stayed at this high pitch yell throughout. We like to sleep cold and ended up turning it up to limit it coming on. The first night there, our TV was set to Spanish. I went down and asked the guy at the front desk and again, he acted bothered. By the time he finally made it to the room I had figured it out using Google translate on my phone. It isn't that the TV was the issue, it was the staff being less than welcoming. Staff would take our dirty towels and would not replace them and when we’d call for more towels they’d say they’d bring some to our room just for us to call back and hour later and a half later and they’d make us go to the front desk and would only have the pool towels available that are half the size of our regular towels

Overall an okay stay. We read a lot of reviews so we weren't very surprised, but did want to point out a few things. Front desk staff is generally awful. However there was one man and lady who checked us in on Thursday that were very kind. The rest were rude and unhelpful. There is some sort of issue with keys where you have to get it reset. When we were checking in a couple had to wait 30 min to get their keys reset. Then we had to two nights in a row with no explanation, both mind and my husbands didn't work. This could be a huge pain. It clearly wasn't because of cleaning staff entering, because they didn't enter once during the 4 nights we were there. There is no option or DND door sign, as they won't come in anyway. Had to ask for more soap due to them leaving one small thing of shampoo for our family. The pool area needs an update, it gets wet upon use and there are hugely slippery spots. At one time I fell and cracked my knee, the staff would not help my husband find an ice maker to get ice or offer towels as I was sopping wet due to the standing water outside the pool. The indoor/outdoor pool was the reason we selected this hotel. We were on the side of the hotel with a family fun park next door. It is loud, really loud. I would suggest earplugs or getting a room elsewhere. The hotel was totally full and we had no option. It runs every night. Breakfast was fine. About what you would expect. Coffee also fine. Beds were fun, rooms were clean.

Front desk was notified when we stepped out for dinner, but was told no maintenance staff available until the next morning. Front desk staff great and very helpfu with check-in and food suggestions.

The property is located in a great area the beach across the street you have great restaurants walking distance. The outside and packaging is very clean and well maintained and lighted. All the staff are very friendly and ready to help you with any questions about Dustin Florida or if wanted extra towels. They had a good hot breakfast and plenty of fruit, cereal, yogurt and bagels. Overall the stay was great and relaxing.

If you want quiet, don't stay here. It is on a major highway and right next door to a go-kart track, and on the flight path of nearby airport. The room was clean with balcony on third floor and you could see the water. The outdoor pool was refreshing and not crowded. The spa/hot tub was luke. The ceiling in the room was peeling and the fan was rusted but functional and quiet. The ice machines were on the second and fourth floors but the one on the second floor was out of order. Breakfast was sketchy. No creamer for coffee. Had to get milk from the cereal area. The hot water for tea or instant oatmeal was not even warm. There were two unleashed dogs running around in the breakfast area with the owners not paying attention. Would not recommend.

I loved the 2 pools and the spa area. I did not like the very limited breakfast options , the breakfast staff knowing that waffle dispenser was broken or clogged had no sense of urgency or seems to care about all the guests waiting in line to make a waffle or refilling the limited breakfast options. They had the worst free breakfast that I’ve ever had. The options were so poor that we only ate there one morning and just didn’t have breakfast. It would not have been hard for them to add some fruit and a meat option.

Staff fairly friendly, and rooms were nice with comfy beds. 2 small pools were well kept, but crowded probably due to holiday weekend. Provided laundry area with way over priced with machines that didnt work properly. Hotel looked nice overall, but the free breakfast was awful with stale hard buiscuits, gravy, and eggs along with badly bruised to spoiled fruit and 2 choices of cereal and terrible coffee. Had to buy breakfast out. Have had better complimentary breakfast at cheaper hotels. Recommend planning ahead to buy your breakfast, but otherwise not too bad of a stay.

OMG. The air-conditioner was LOUD. It made horrible clicking noises and was not cooling the room well. It was loud and still way warmer than what it said. It kept waking me up. I finally had to dig out my ear plugs to try to get any sleep that night. Awful
