The room was average with a kitchenette included. We stayed 6 nights - but when we rolled down the comforter to our bed on the first night, the bed sheets and pillowcases had stains on them. Gross! We ended up getting clean sheets at the front desk and changed them ourselves. The room was average, but we liked the kitchenette and the partial view of the ocean. The beach was 1/4th mile away and so we walked the beach every day of our stay. We booked this hotel particularly for their pool and that it was reported as "kid" friendly . . . but their pool was closed for repair the week we were there. There was no mention of this on their booking page and so we considered it a MAJOR INCONVENIENCE. I\'m sure there is a disclaimer about this on their web page yet it would have been nice to know before we booked. We were there in March, so Ocean swimming was too cold for young children. They did give us an option of swimming in their sister hotel\'s pool at the Hampton Inn 1/4th mile away for which we took advantage. Frankly, the staff at the Hampton were not very cordial and I think we were considered an inconvenience when we went to swim there. This added to our disappointment for the week. Breakfast fare was decent.

There was nowhere to park, people were just parking however! The covers on the bed were stained, the walls also looked dirty and the room had a very weird smell! The guy at the front desk was very nice and helpful though!

Really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was great. Pool was kid friendly.

So nice to be able to walk across the street to the beach. Pool area pretty but so many bugs couldn't enjoy it. Nice rooms.

Property was nice. The pool however wasn’t so great! There was a HUGE whole about 14” round in circle and 2” deep in the pool! There was fragments of the pieces maybe about 10 pieces outside the entrance of the steps of the pool, which if anyone steps on will cut their foot. Toilet stop working in our room for one night we had to go downstairs from the 3rd floor to use the bathroom all night until the next morning when maintenance came and repaired it, other than that the stay was good. Lots of dogs in the hotel, wish I had known my husband is scared of dogs and our Grandaughter is allergic to both cats and dogs. But the stay was nice.

What a great place! Very clean, pet friendly, very short walk to the beach, large heated outdoor pool, decent breakfast, and every staff member there was extremely professional and friendly. Room was very clean, and beds were comfortable. Fitness center was the cleanest I’ve ever been in and great to have access to laundry facilities. Excellent value for the area, will return in near future. Overall excellent place to stay!

Good location within walking distance of beach. Room was a bit dated, but clean. Biggest issue was an incredibly loud air conditioning unit; it was obviously old and in need of repair, and it kept us from sleeping well. It was also annoying that we had to pay extra for parking at the hotel. Probably won’t return to this location.

Clean rooms, amazing staff, pool is great, breakfast was complete. This is my "HOME" when I come to Destin when the prices are "normal"

Great experience lovely people and great rooms.clean and accommodating. Great breakfast but classlessness paid parking at a $200+ a night hotel.

We did not have a comforter on the bed, the hotel floors were dirty all of the time and it was very loud at night

Apon checking in we thought everything would be great based on how beautiful the outside grounds were and the hotel lobby. Then we went onto the room, it was a mess, old food on counter (rice) hair on counters and worse of all hair on bed and pillows. The mattress and pillows are horrible lumpy and saggy. When we went down to front desk to complain the agent seem to not care. We asked for a manager and was told he would not be in til 11am it was 1045 and the agent did not offer to have the manager contact us once arrived. The next day we went to front desk to ask for paper towels the agent states there should have been a roll in your room. There was less than a half roll however we used it cleaning the room the day before since our room was dirty apon checking in. At this point we have decided not to speak with a manager just leave a review and never stay there again. Be aware the breakfast is not that great and if you are eating low carb or healthier there's no options.

Rooms were pretty clean. Maybe time for a good baseboard cleaning but bathroom, sheets, furniture and dishes were clean. Breakfast had good choice of yumminess. Great location. We definitely stay again.

The room was never cleaned even though we reported it to the front desk multiple times. Had to request clean towels from the front desk each day.

Nice room, pretty noisy with road traffic. Shower could have been cleaned better. Don’t expect anyone to pick up the phone quickly when calling in the early afternoon.

Room was not clean. There was dried blood on bathroom door. The toilet was clogged in our room. The toilet seat was cracked and chipping on the part you sit on. Called to get the room serviced and they said that I must call 24hours in advance and they only clean every 4 days!!! For the amount of money I would have selected a different hotel. The staff were nice, but that's all. Truely disappointed.

First day was pretty bad… when looking at affordable but not Motel 6 hotels I saw this Hilton was recently new so my expectations were high for those two reasons. Upon checking into room the floors were very dirty to include some type of green goo melted on the floor near one of the beds. It was apparent these floors weren’t even vacuumed and needed a really good shampoo. The next thing was finding a Cheeto in the bed covers. Yes I sad it so it was apparent they didn’t swap out the sheets. They requested a new room immediately and the clerk at the front was not very friendly and acting like it wasn’t a big deal. After this our new room was better. I was still disappointed with the overall condition/cleanliness of the hotel. Food was good ,pool was good, location was great.

The room was comfortable and extremely clean. It was well maintained and such a deal for a great location! We could see the Gulf from our room. The breakfast was awesome and the staff incredibly friendly.

We picked this hotel because it said beach view which wasnt accurate. We couldn't see the beach from the 4th floor. The hotel is on the newer side and the room was specious. The staff allowed us to check in early which was a plus, and the woman that checked us in was nice and friendly. But, some.of the staff weren't friendly or helpful (like the woman who checked us out). The housekeeping staff for our floor didnt speak english so it was difficult to communicate even using an app. We never use housekeeping while on vacay but we needed the floor mopped and new towels after coming from the beach (the sand). We asked for housekeeping early that morning because we were gonna do excursions and would be out of the room. But, when we got back our room still wasn't done and we wanted to nap before our next excursion. Our room didn't get done until 330pm and they didn't have any towels.

Did not realize it was dog friendly. Room smelled strongly of dogs. Dog in close room barked constantly

The room was a great size and very comfortable . It was also in a nice location in reference to the beach.

We loved our stay. Clean and large rooms. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Good shower: temp and pressure. The only negative was the internet: it was inconsistent. Poor coverage, unstable service. Strongly recommend fixing.

Good weather for Thanksgiving break. Hotel well organized and clean. Somewhat colorful full rooms which was great. Bed linen could be thicker and maybe a newer albeit all was fine. First night was hard as walls are thin and a chis kept running in hallway. No noise from road. Walk to the beach in a blink.

The full-size refrigerator was greatly appreciated. The room was very large. The shower was also very comfortable.

Only downside is that all the king rooms are located next to a major traffic light and it gets very noisy when the light turns green and cars start to take off. Couldn’t even take a nap with all the noise and they don’t offer guests ear plugs/muffs. It should be complimentary.

We had a fantastic stay. The hotel was clean, and breakfast was better than most free hotel breakfasts. We walked to the beach dally. Eateries & activities are very close by. The front desk staff was great. We would gladly stay here again!

We paid for our room when we got there. The full amount, but then when we left, they said that we owed even more. I called and ask to speak with a manager they said that they would call me back and they never did. I do not recommend staying there. I would choose a different hotel.

Expected better Hilton! Customer service here was ridiculous. You could never reach the front desk. I don’t think they ever pick up the phone frankly one of the queen size bed we had did not have a blanket on the bed. It had a quilted mattress pad with a skirt attached to it. I asked housekeeping That was in the hall as well as the desk twice to replace To provide a blanket. Finally, one of the guys are sweeping the floor went and found me one. We also called and spoke to somebody at the front desk because our shampoo dispenser was empty in the shower And we didn’t have any toiletries on the sink. Those things never were replaced or provided.

Really liked the facility. Staffs were very helpful and friendly. We checked in late and the receptionist offered us extra blanket and cover. Really enjoyed the time we stayed there

The staff was amazing always friendly and helpful let us have a late check out at no charge since our flight was not until later.

Did not like check in as we waited several minutes without anyone at the front desk. Even called the hotel phone and let it ring and ring. Still no one. Then my friend went into a back office and found a gentleman who said he’d look for the front desk girl. All that’s bad enough but when she came to the front desk she practically called us liars because there was no way we waited that long. She should have apologized for the wait instead of calling us liars.

The front desk lady was extremely nice and helpful. I checked in early after a very long day and she just made things so much easier for me. I really appreciate it her!

Lady with the red wig needs an attitude adjustment. Heavy chip on her shoulder. Not very friendly or accommodating.

Home2 Suites??? More like give your room away and take half of your money without any contact. Check-in was for 4PM, arrived around 9PM. Upon arrival, I checked in at the front desk and they said that my room had been canceled and given away. I called twice earlier in the day to assure that accommodations were still available. Half of the balance for the stay was already withdrawn from my checking account. The woman at the front desk said that they transferred my stay to the Hampton Inn around the corner. All of this happened without any contact with me. Highly dissatisfied with Home2 Suites, I will never book with them again. Almost turned my family vacation into a nightmare.

Lots of beach traffic by the hotel. It is close to the beach. But the public beach near there is small and crammed with people, always!

I loved how the beach was within walking distance, staff was very diligent with making efforts to keep the floors clean and dry. Our room was clean, staff was kind and breakfast was good. The hotel is close to restaurants, enertainment and stores. Downside is no stove in rooms, parking can be a bit annoying and the designated beach area is not that big. Overall we had a great time, would definitely recommend for families.

Its location is perfect for the beach. Right in close walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Great pool as well. I would stay here again most definitely. Very good for the price especially considering how close it is to the beach.

The stay was good with a clean, spacious, well appointed room. The breakfast was weak, with breakfast items sitting under lamps for hours. Coffee was good, and there were hard-boiled eggs, but that was about it.

I like breakfast.

The location is good. However, the facility is not what I expected. Breakfast was terrible. I spent 30 minutes on line to make me a waffle. One machine only. They didn’t clean the room in two days.

Staff was great, friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was good, plenty of options. Room was clean. Pool area needed updating but was ok. Was a good location, short walk to beach and short drive to everything else. Overall was a great hotel to stay at.

I liked the location. Only one lady was friendly at the hotel. The others seemed irritated when we needed something. The free breakfast was okay but food, coffee, plates, milk and bowls seemed to be gone by 8:00 every morning. Just had to settle with what was left.

Property was clean and managed properly. Room service great. Pricing was okay. Dining was definitely mid scale. Waffles with eggs and no meat is disgusting. Only area I’d fix is the dining. For what I paid and still had to go to Cracker Barrel after was ridiculous to me. That was another reason for choosing this hotel to be upset at breakfast
