This is such a lovely place to stay. The staff were all great, they had a lovely happy hour and the continental breakfast was fine for me. They have a lot of indoor and outdoor sitting. The pool, and it's right on the harbor! We reserved a harbor facing room and it was beautiful to walk in and be able to see the water, or sit out on the balcony. Yulia, they manager, runs a great place with a great diverse group of people that really care what they do! Thank you for this stay!

The local bars shut down at 2:30 but the hotel bar serves until 4:30am. Then the drunks go to there rooms and laugh or argue slam doors and wake up everybody on that floor and the folks above or below.

This is an older hotel we have stayed in before. It has been renovated and really looks great. The only reason they did not get an excellent is because the bar advertised is not a full bar but just some beer, wine coolers but they can’t make a cocktail. The other issue I had which I did report to the cheerful clerk this morning was the lights that are outside in front of the building shined right into our room. It looked like it was morning all night long. But other than those two small issues it was a nice place to stay. The room was very clean and everyone was very nice.

The convenience it was to walk to the boardwalk, and surrounding restaurants was nice. The Hotel itself was terrible for the price i paid for 5 nights 1,950.11. No soda to buy on the property but they have a bar stocked. No laundry soap available to buy for there laundry room. Only one washer and one dryer. 2.00 a load. the dryer took 5.00 just to dry our clothes to damp.the laundry room smelled like sewage. Finally decided to put on our deck but had to watch were i put the clothes as the above deck leaked onto our deck and it was constantly wet. We were there for 5 nights and were repeatedly told they didn't have towels other then the two we were given. The noise throughout the halls til around 5am was ridiculous i couldn't wait to get home so I could get a good night sleep. The shore of the bay was littered with garbage.

Absolutely loved they had a service where you could use an app to call for a shuttle to take you to Harborwalk, nearby restaurants, etc.. Super convenient, just make sure you tip your sweet driver! Yes, the building is older, as it's an older hotel.. but the view of the bay from your room and balcony is wonderful! Tons of businesses within walking distance, just be careful crossing the street, it definitely gets busy during peak times. The walls are thin, as I could hear everything in the rooms next to us, but if no one's next to you, there is silence lol The hotel is in a good location, with wonderful views of the busy bay. They had live music by the pool, which I enjoyed sitting on the balcony to listen to.. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you want to be close to Harborwalk and want to stay on that end of Destin! Plus it's pet friendly, so we were able to take the pup!

Heavy smoking in the property makes it so you can’t leave your balcony doors open and enjoy the harbor view. Rooms are so dirty that I’m 90 % sure they didn’t even wash the sheets. No towels or TP in room. Continental breakfast is dry oatmeal and packaged pastries. Close walk to boardwalk though

BED BUGS!!!! Long post, but worth the read To start off, disgusting PERIOD. The hotel and the staff. On our third night at 10:30 PM, as we were getting into bed we see a bug on the sheets, once we took a closer look, it looked like a bed bug. As I go to kill it, it was filled with blood. We proceeded to search the bed and we found shedded skin and another live one. As soon as we got to the hotel the first day we checked to make sure they had protective covers over the mattress as we do at all hotels we stay at, they did which made us feel good. When we found the bugs we started to think where they might have come from, we then noticed that the bed skirt was cloth with no protection and also the carts that you transfer your luggage on, the bottom was a layer of cloth. We went down to the front desk and the lady said that she could move us to a new room but there was no one we could talk to that night and to come back down in the morning and the manager would be there. We went down to the front desk the next morning and the two workers said that the manager wouldn’t be in until the next morning, but the manager told her employees previously to let us know that we would be refunded for that one night for the inconvenience, but I think we deserved more of a refund rather than just one out of the three nights we stayed there since we stayed in that room two nights prior to finding them, which was two extra days that the bugs could get on our clothes and luggage.

The room had a patio overlooking the bay, which was great. The entryway was so narrow that I couldn't wheel the luggage cart into the room. I killed two cockroaches during the evening, but fortunately didn’t see any more afterwards. The bed was comfortable, the toilet was too low, the view was awesome, and the breakfast was delicious.

First the good news - location was great right on the harbor front. Now the bad - I have never stayed at a hotel where there was not one drawer to put clothes in. There was one coat rack with a few hangers on it, but we ended up living out of suitcases for 3 days. The patio was nice but it sloped the wrong way and did not have a drain - the rain on the first night produced a 1" puddle that remained the rest of the trip The furniture in the room was vinyl and uncomfortable The staff were rather surly - never once greeting us with a hello or good morning

I stayed here for two nights and would have stayed more but needed to sleep. First night, room 118 is right under the hotel lobby. - So loud. I heard people at 6:45am. Was so tired. The next night, I asked for a more quiet room. They moved me to the 4th floor. Room 408. The AC was not working right so at 12am, I called down to the office and said I can not sleep due to the ac just circulating the fan. Warm air. The front desk lady came up and agreed and moved me to room 410. Very nice AC and cold, but again the noise made it difficult to sleep once 6am rolled around. It seems the walls are thin and people start cleaning or moving things at 7am in which you can hear. I sleep with a noise maker and I could hear. I asked the front desk for late check out since I was up at 12am changing rooms (due to the non-working AC). She said she got it approved to 11:30am with no extra charge. After that time, she said it was $50.00 and hour. Was disappointed in this stay. Will not stay here again as I like to sleep past 7am when I am not working and with a working cold AC.

Great location but older hotel. The room was comfortable and clean over all. The sliding glass door would not lock. The bathroom was a handicapped bathroom. The water flooded into the hall every time the shower was used. The toilet consistently run and was not easy to flush. We only stayed one night so we did not complain. The bed was comfortable and very clean.

Rude front desk staff. They went out of their way to ignore you and let you know that you were a bother. No one smiled or enjoyed working there. We never got the room cleaned during our stay and was denied towels when asked. We have to use our towels again and again.

This was honestly a very disappointing stay. My wife and I have stayed at this property many times and always enjoyed it. We’ve never had a problem. This stay was an absolute cocktail of problems, beginning the moment we checked in. The first room we were assigned was a mess. One bed was unmade, and pillows were piled on the floor. We were moved to another room on the fifth floor, where there were gaps in the flooring (see picture) and overall the room was grungy. Then, during our stay, the person next to us checked out of the hotel and the hotel staff mistakenly checked us out of our room instead of them, issuing a refund for half our charges. When we arrived back at the hotel from lunch and they realized their mistake, they attempted to recharge us for the upcoming night. This set off a domino chain of phone calls to our room, multiple charges to our credit card, reversals of said charges, and charges again. It was a disaster that took all afternoon to iron out and consumed a good portion of our vacation. The manager was very kind and proactive about ironing out the problem, but she also seemed to be lost as to how to fix it. She ended up giving us one night free, which was appreciated, but at that point most of the day had been consumed. Additionally, the hot water in our room was cold, and the housekeeping staff blared music from the hallway both mornings while they cleaned. Overall, just a very disappointing stay. We were kind of glad to head home.

Nice location., nice view. At check out , no one was at the desk although it was 3:45 am… but was told earlier that someone would always be there 24/7. Breakfast ended at 9 … too early but it wasn’t good anyway.

The shower didn’t work and the room was dirty. Called the front desk about a lack of hot water but nothing ever happened and nobody came up to fix the shower handle. It took an average of 25 mins before the shower would heat up enough to make it comfortable. Dirty sink, shower and toilet as well. Breakfast downstairs was awful as well.

Loved this little hotel. Beautiful views of the harbor. Very clean. There are rundown areas of the hotel, but it is an older place. The staff was amazing! Great places to sit outside or on your patio. Walking distance from numerous restaurants and stores. Breakfast was adequate and they have a nice little store with some snacks, beverages and amenities. There selection of alcohol at the bar is amazing!

This was the third year we've came to Destin and stay at Destin Harbor Inn. Hotel is seeing so wear a s tear. The hallway is missing carpet, the balcony facing the ocean need some cleaning and painting. Overall, hotel was acceptable to stay and staff were friendly. Love the service to be dropped off at local restaurants vs driving. Breakfast had a good selection.

The breakfast option was horrible! It is all packaged and processed items, rubbery boiled eggs, sour coffee. This non-service will prevent me from staying at this property in the future unfortunately. The harbor view is nice.
