We stayed here for 3 nights. It was clean. Beds are comfortable. Plenty of parking space. Breakfast was included and it was good. Just your most typical simple breakfast spread. The pool was small. There were no shades available. No umbrellas, but plenty of chairs & loungers. The location was excellent. Right in the middle of a lot of stores, supermarkets (Walmart), restaurants. The beach (Henderson State Park Beach) was a 6min drive away. We had a good 3 nights stay. I would recommend this hotel. Summer 2024.

The hotel was centrally located for shopping, dining out, and the beach. The beach was a little bit of a walk and the main road is very busy one to cross. The pool was a pleasant temp but with the strong sun we would have appreciated a little cover somewhere. the breakfast was nice and constantly refilled, very clean. Also plenty of seating in the breakfast/lobby area.

Very noisy. A lot of kids in the hotel and you could here them running around when trying to sleep. One of the two elevators was out of service. Only three carts for bringing in luggage.

Absolutely the worst , no internet service was the main issue neither I nor my business partner could access the internet after many calls and being on hold the final answer was “ it’s the hotel “ .we were sent next door to Best western to connect to the internet , not acceptable . The water was cold everyday we were there the breakfast was substandard . Needless to say my company will not frequent your establishment again .

The refrigerator was dirty and not working customers before us have left things in there so the housekeeper didn’t check it. Also, the microwave was filthy. I had to go downstairs to warm my food. Nobody come to clean it after reporting it. we will also put around the ice machine where it made noise all night because of ppl getting ice

Really enjoyed staying here. The room was very clean as well as the hotel. It was quiet and did not have any noise issues. It was up to date. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The morning breakfast was awesome and had a variety to choose from. The location was perfect and around everything. Will definitely stay again when in Destin.

Checked in and the bathroom had black hair on the walls and the shower. And there was a wash cloth left in the shower. After the second day of our stay we had to insist our room be cleaned. Came back at 130 pm and the room was not cleaned. Had to go down to the front desk and find a clerk, and ask the room be cleaned. Waited in the lobby 45 min for.it to be cleaned

We stayed here for 3 nights. We thought the property was great & clean. However, my child & I went home with bed bug bites all over us. We went to the Dermatologist to confirm & it is definitely bed bugs. I called and spoke with the Manager so disagreed and said no way did we get them there. I even sent pictures. Very disappointed in the way this situation was handled.

This was the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. You could hear everything from every direction in the room. Also, there is absolutely nowhere to put anything. There is no dresser or closet. And they consider a "suite" as adding a couch. We will never stay in a Comfort Inn and "Suites" again!

I do not recommend getting a room on the first floor if you stay here. Unfortunately, the guests above me were so noisy from 6am on that I didn't get any sleep when I really needed it. I put in two noise complaints and the staff did try to help, but the guests cited that it was morning so they weren't going to do anything about it. Other than that, great location and staff was friendly.

Sadly this was a disappointing stay. Apart from the lady that checked me in the other deont desk were uncaring and unhelpful. I injured my head on the shelf in the shower, they have white tile white shelf, resulting in a gash 1inch long. The response from the FD agent was we'll take a look at that, meaning the shelf! The hotel is poorly built you can hear the people stomping around in the rooms above, tiniest coffee cups I've ever seen at breakfast.

Outside of the manager, customer service is non existent. I booked a 4 night stay and was informed that housekeeping comes around every three days. However, I requested every two days and was assured that housekeeping would come by on day 2. After putting out all of my towels out and leaving the room as requested, no one ever showed up. On day 3, put towels out again, left the room as requested and yet no one showed up. I informed the front desk and was told “I’ll look into this and get back with you”. Never heard anything from her. I eventually had to go and find trash bags, buy towels and cleaning supplies to be comfortable. Upon checkout, informed the young lady at the front desk and she responded “oh I’m sorry that happened, while I was off that day”.

We checked into the property and was giving room keys, approximately 15 mins later the front desk checked another customer into the same room and gave them key access too. While laying in bed with my pregnant wife the other customer walked in unknowingly that we were already occupying the room. Then we had to go to the front desk and wait for it all to be sorted out while the front desk figured out what rooms was already occupied by guest. Absolutely absurd that anything like this can happen.

The hotel is located in a very nice area, however, the reception staff is never there, and every time we needed something, we had to wait a long time or return because there was only a sign that said "we'll be back shortly." The room had a bad smell, and although we asked to change, the other one was the same. The room was very small and it was almost impossible to move around in it, with no space to put our things. The breakfast left a lot to be desired; the coffee tasted reheated, and there were only two breakfast options. For the price, I think it could have been much better, more spacious, and cleaner.

I forget his name amd its not gonna get him a raise sadly but the young man with glasses on 2nd. I told him id leave a review especially for him. He was amazing my entire stay. Dark skin man with glasses, was even training a new start. He deserves a raise and then some. Please pay this man more. Pony tail glasses. Dark. He should run this hotel.

Under new ownership, so they added unexpected fees i didnt have before my previous stay. There were no imcentives at this hotel. Breakfast was really poor. Late night staff needs work on her customer service. Daniella was rude, didnt want to be bothered since she was too busy chatting it up on her cell phone. Requested for service and she refused. I have decided not to make future reservations at this location.

We wanted to be near the beach but not pay beachfront prices. It was the off-season and this was perfect cost-wise. It is not really walkable to the beach but was situated well near Henderson Beach and the one by The Crab Trap, about 5 min drive from either. Restaurants and shopping nearby. Hot breakfast with fresh fruit was great. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Wish it had a view of the beach and was walkable to it. We didn't try out the pool or fitness center because of time. Would stay here again when trying to save money and don't need to be on the beach. It was so clean and safe.

I absolutely loved my stay at Comfort Inn in Destin! From the moment I arrived, the staff was so kind and helpful—they really made me feel welcome. It is clean but I can’t say breakfast was good. I stayed there for 4 days and they had good breakfast just one day the other days I can’t say it was good enough. One day they didn’t have even eggs. Except that it was good, clean, quiet and also reception was helpful

Very good hotel near Crystal and Henderson Beach. Rooms were clean and buffet breakfast had very options with breads, muffins, fruits, waffles, coffees, juice and many more!
