This property is actually 2 hotels in one. Which is confusing. As you salk into the loby the check in area is seperated into 2 one for motel 8 and one for days inn. Check in went smooth everything else was down hill from there. The pool was closed. Nowhere on the hotel.com site was i told that the pool was closed. Its florida in the summer we wanted to go to the pool. Next our room. It was clean for the most oart. We had 1 towel. 2 people 1 towel. No hot water in the shower or sink. Not even warm. Zero water pressure. Sink had been reattached to the wall and was clearly still broken. Parking lot was decent. Other than all the ballards in feont of the spots were used as ashtrays. Hotel has non smoking rooms not sure why they are considered non smoking when they still smell like cigarettes or weed. All night long all you could smeel.was cigarettes. Would not recommend this hotel. Do yourselves a favor spend the extra money and go somewhere alittle nicer.

Had to get room change first night roaches everywhere. I don’t think they ever clean the bathrooms or floors. The pool was just closed and one massive cess pool. The breakfast buffet was a granola bar. Horrible Stay.

Dogs barking and animal feces all over. Rocks I. The pool no shade by the pool all seats were busted up. Obvious narcotics dealing. I was worried for my family safter so I did not stay longer. The asst manager Taylor was extremely pleasant and cordial and helpful. Fantastic demeanor

The front staff lady was polite. The hotel is in shambles. The hot water didnt work and our room was changed. There were no towels in the room. Just a hand towel, bath mat, and two washcloths. There was a bug in the floor by the shower. The towel rack was falling off the wall, that's without the towels. The water pressure was almost non existent and the shower head could use a scrub down. The renovation crew begin way before check out time and we were woken up to drills and very loud noises. There is no working hot tub more like a kids pool.

This had to be the absolute worst experience in a hotel, this room was INFESTED with roaches, they were everywhere, I had no choice but to stay the first night so I was huddled in a ball in the middle of the bed.

The room was in extreme disrepair. The bathroom door did not even close. The hinges weren’t lined up. There was oxidation in the drains, and on the pipes the moldings had buildup on them. The tile floor had build up. The air conditioner was loud, and it felt humid in the room. There was a roach crawling on the floor. The overall quality of the room was extremely poor. The ceiling was cracked and poorly repaired. The paint was chipping off of the door overall, it feel like the room had not been updated or maintained in a very long time.

The television didn’t work appropriately, roaches where all over the room, had to sleep with the light on,blood spots all over the box spring sheet, the shower head was full of mold and the water pressure was poor, no phone line in the room in case of a emergency.Changed rooms three times, instill was a horrible experience. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Honestly, o wasn't happy with this hotel. The TV didn't work, no coffee in the lobby, the chair by the computer desk was so small I couldn't see the computer on the desk, the water pressure in the shower was poor, and the water was barely lukewarm. I won't be back.

Don’t do it. Read other reviews about the hotel. I had no hot water, the toilet was running all night, room was very clean, no shampoo. Upon checking in the key would not work for my room and lock was lit up red. I requested King room but said they were overbooked. Not sure how parking lot was no where near full. Finally received a room that key worked. Random people roaming around the property going to different room after room. Went to lobby in morning and a vagrant passed out in front of the doors!! Not a good place!!

The rates charged per night (265) are extremely high for the overall quality of room you get. No refrigerator or mircowave , overall appearance of hotel is not great and walls are paper thin. i could hear everything happening in next room. Fire alarm in room needed new battery buzzing entire stay not sure why house keeping overlooks that small detail.

My stay was cut short because the amenities advertised were not functional. There was no internet in my room (which was important to me) or phone to call the desk. Calls to the desk by cell were dropped. I was not able to go to a conference as to book another place that late would have cost me too much. I must say the staff was as helpful as they could be but could not solve the problem.

The first room i was given was facing the west and the sun heated the room up and the ac unit didn't cool the room down until midnight. The door to the room didn't have any weatherstripping on it, so from the heat to the roaches were to much. I did go the front desk, and the staff were very happy to move me to another room. This room was way better and cleaner. But the others guest that are living in the adjacent rooms were noisy and playing music and there tv very loud. I called the front deck and complained, and they did talk with them, and they lowered the sound levels. I have stayed at several of their other places without any issues.

Booked a room here pretty last minute after a wedding. I had another hotel room about an hour and a half north but seeing as this was closer to Tampa international with an early flight the next morning it made sense to just stay here. Checked in around 10 - 10-30 at night the receptionists was very nice and friendly. Was a little confused pulling in because it said super 8 and not days inn. After getting my room key I went up to my room, turned the lights on and saw some roaches running around on the floor the bed and the table near the tv. Turned right back around and went to the front for a refund. Once again the receptionist was awesome. No problem giving me the refund for the room and gave me an apology for what happened. It was super inconvenient finding another hotel there on. Saturday at that time though. The only thing this place has going for it was that one staff member. She was a diamond in the rough.

Front desk clerk needs to learn customer service. While waiting on us one of his friends came in to drop something off so he stopped processing the check-in to talk to them for a couple minutes until his friend reminded him he needed to finish waiting on us. Then we I checked out they double charged for the room.

Took 45 mins to check in, two people behind the desk and only one working. Put in a room that had plumbing issues and toilet was not usable and sewer water rising in the tub and needed a new room. Room smelled like smoke. We ended up moving hotels all together.

My room was not ready . I drove two hours and it was not ready until 7pm . I was late to a baseball game for a bday weekend. Beyond disappointed

This place was pretty horrific. For starters I showed up at 1:45 to check in and was told I couldn’t check in until 3, ok no problem. I go out around town for a few hours, come back to check in and none of my keys will let me in my room. So I came back to the front desk and maintenance comes with me to see what’s going on. Finally as we are fussing with the lock a woman opens the door. They gave away my room! Thankfully the guy at the front desk, who was an absolute sweetheart throughout this disaster, got me into another room. But the room was very dirty. It needed to be cleaned very badly. The sheets had stains on them and the beds were pretty disgusting. I opted to buy a sheet from Walmart to put over the top of the bed and slept with my own blanket. I’m not sure how a place like this could even be in business.

Lightning was dismal, the room had a bug problem, the police were there a couple times due to guests being families without homes, people shooting up in the back parking lot, just over all a shady part of town with zero actual security. It’s a great place if you’re down on your luck, not as a visitor to the area. The rooms were clean but had a noticeable bug problem. Everything was basic and the outside of the building looked nothing like the pictures for Expedia. It served its purpose but Yeesh. The staff was friendly and attentive. Honestly the building could use some overhaul. It was mainly inhabited by locals. Honestly I can’t get myself to go back there. Security is a big issue.

Be aware this is a joint Super 8 and Days Inn. We did not know that. It is also in an undesirable part of town. The area is very industrial and the drug users run rampant. The front desk was not very welcoming, the place is old and run down, dirty, and smells like an ashtray. Save yourself the disappointment and go elsewhere.

This place seems to be used as transient living or “hourly” rentals. It was dirty, noisy and unpleasant. We checked out early and found a better place for less that was safer, cleaner and nicer for under the same price as this place. I do not recommend this place at all!

There were roaches everywhere. There are addicts everywhere because they clearly participate in government programs to house the homeless in hotels. I don't hate these programs or demonize addicts, I used to be both. But, I dont want to use this hotel for my kids. I booked from Thursday to Monday, to have my house tented. I waited an hour to get checked in and then went home. When I got there on Friday, they key didn't work and I was told you have to check in everyday by the staff. I cancelled the booking when I heard people arguing about a bed bug infestation in their room, and expedia doesn't seem to care as they asked for a review rather than how they could give me a refund since I never slept in that hotel, nor did I actually use it because of safety concerns. I can't afford to have my house tented a second time because of bed bugs, I am dealing with termites. In fact, when I said to the staff that the argument I just heard them have was about bed bugs, they said, "we can't be open if we had those". Well, has anyone checked and alerted the health department yet? Thats how hotels get shut down for treatment, not at the first complaint to the management. Disappointed, but you get what you pay for. When we finally got in our room the room was yuck! Furniture was broken, our non smoking room stunk so badly of smoke, and the door and window seemed very insecure. Our neighbors were sitting our lounge chairs smoking weed…needless to say we didn’t stay here.

When we first arrived the parking lot had homeless looking people loitering around. Then we went into the front desk and started our check in. When we went to pay, we wanted to pay in cash. We were promptly told "No Cash Payments Accepted" This is ridiculous and inconvenient!! If they fear getting robbed then install a safe and only keep $25 in change in the drawer and drop all cash payments. I've worked administration most of my life and I see a ton of changes that need to be made in this place.

I would not recommend this property to anyone. While it is now being listed as a Days Inn by Wyndham, it is actually just a Super 8 Motel, and the quality matches. None of the advertised amenities or features of the rooms were present. We did not have a microwave, a functional minifridge, an ironing board, or even a desk chair. The desk was broken, 3/4 lights in the room did not work. The rooms were dirty, and looked as if they hadn't even been cleaned, just had the sheets changed (hopefully). There was leftover soap on the counter and overall dirtiness throughout the room. We had bugs and a lizard in the room. Pool was never opened during our 4 day stay. "Breakfast" was stale granola bars and literally nothing else. The area had absolutely nothing around it. Luckily, it was only about a 15 minute drive to downtown St. Petersburg (despite being advertised as being located in St. Pete, while it is actually located in Lealman). Would have gone literally anywhere else, but they refused to refund me.

This place was dirty. The floors were sticky. The school was falling apart and dripping on the floor. There was no hot water and we couldn’t get any channels. The pool was cold and dirty. The breakfast was granola bars and that’s it. The lady at the front desk was nice enough to refund our 2nd day even though we booked through Expedia. That was the only positive thing about this place. I’d avoid this place at all costs. We found a cheaper place close to the beach that was clean and had a warm pool. This is not worth the money you pay.

First of all, the ONLY positive was the front desk clerk, LEAH, on day one was awesome. The other clerk on day two horrible. Property is being used by FEMA to house people. Lots of little kids running around. I changed my reservation upon check in to two nights instead of three. The light breakfast was coffee/juice only. Would definitely not ever stay here again. Will be contacting Wyndham with comments as well. Also, found dealing with Expedia not great too. When I tried to change from three nights to only two it was an insane process. Luckily the hotel clerk handled it with ease after I spent hours the day before by phone and internet with no results. So, the moral of my story is NO expedia or Wyndham again for me.

Ac was busted and stuck blowing hot air even though we had it set to 61 the bed frame broke in the middle of the night and cockroaches came out it stated breakfast and coffee but it was a single granola bar and no coffee we were told it was a smoking room but then we got told no smoking in the rooms.
