One of the worst rooms and hotels that I have stayed in. Bugs (one joined me on my pillow even), dirty, run down, no pictures on the wall, lumpy old pillows, bugs, cracked/missing floor tile, broken pool furniture, bugs, trash stuck in weird places, and I'm pretty sure women of the evening entertained there and visited with their friend John. Did I mention BUGS. CRAWLING ON WALLS, FLOORS. BED! In my drink. Hideous.

Found 5-6 live roaches in the first room. Desk clerk was very nice, gave us another room. Found more roaches in that room. Got a refund and left. Desk clerk said the roaches are from the hurricane. Overall rooms were decent, not nasty except for the bugs. Outside the property was clean, pool was very clean and close, but we did not use it due to leaving.

To begin with the Super 8 left a new clerk in charge with no login for the computer resulting in a 2 hour delay checking in. The rooms are in disrepair, roach infested, the outlets didn’t all work, the drain in the sink was clogged. The clients were questionable as the area is know for prostitution and drugs. Strong smell of marijauna all the time near the pool. I would rate it 1 star. This is no reflection on Expedia as they did their business professionally.

The room was decent as far as the environment is very sketchy made me nervous a lot of loitering going around. And drugs and the smell in coming in are room. Trash around homeless people and hookers hanging around. No complimentary breakfast. Nasty sitting area around the pool. I will not be going back to this hotel. The only attended I like was Leah she was very nice and etc. Highly recommend her. Guest can't even use the lobby bathroom.

The room was nice but i found a cockroach. Tv didnt work, had to switch rooms. Kids were noisy by the pools and parents let them roam and do what they want. No respect for other people staying there. Horrible place couldn't wait to leave.

Roach, infested, he became sick and congested with cloth. There's a dirty filters and air in the air conditioning, along with me, hundreds of German roaches, Kylie, I do not recommend it. It's a super 8 side, the days inside, I didn't experience roaches, or any of the sword. So that must be wide super 8. It's cheaper than the day's inn

The property and room were not as advertised by Expedia in the listing photos. The floors were different, the beds were missing sheets, the bathroom had cockroaches, utilities were missing, the lobby was not as photographed at all. I ended up cancelling my reservation as soon as I arrived.

Where do I start? I was supposed to have a nonsmoking king. Instead, I had to take either a smoking king or a nonsmoking room with small beds. There were no bath towels in the room, so I had to go back to the office just to get towels. The TV didn't work. Wouldn't even turn on. The internet kept shutting down and requiring that I sign in again. Then when I did, it said "no internet." After two or three tries, it would say "You're already signed in. There was no chair to sit at the computer table. There was one in an unoccupied room two doors down, so I suggested I could just take that if they opened the room. No, they said, I'll send you a chair. They didn't. The next morning i had the same conversation with the day person. Could I have the chair from the empty room? No, I'll send you one. They didn't. I could go on. But the punchline is simple. Usually, I like Super 8. This one was terrible. And though at checkout, the desk clerk said she was sorry, she had had multiple chances to fix things, but didn't bother. So in my eyes, she wasn't sorry at all. In short, I like Saint Petersburg. I go there often and encourage others to do so. But find a different hotel. This one is terrible and they make no effort to make it better.

I saw bugs in the bathroom area and the finish construction work was not very good. The finish work was very shoddy. The TV did not have any type of cable and the over the air. Pictures were real fuzzy.

We arrived at Super 8 late at night because of flight delays. The signage to identify the building as well as directions to the front desk was not clear. The place felt a little sketchy, but I checked in and went to my room. We've stayed at bargain hotels before, but something about this one (outside of the updating that seems to be in progress) made us uncomfortable. It was a one-night stay and late at night so we were going to stay there anyway. Then there was an issue with the key card programming, so I could not get into my room. Brought it back to be reprogrammed, and had the same issue, and no one was available to figure out the problem. The only other room available was a smoking room, which is not an option for my family due to medical conditions. The front desk associate offered us a refund and guidance on how to contact hotels.com about a refund; he was very helpful and apologetic.

I had booked a room with a king size bed. When I arrived I was advised they didn't have a king size bed, but I accepted. When I get to the room the air conditioner wouldn't turn on. To make matters worse, they didn't even have another room. I checked out, the front desk gave me a paper indicating why I wasn't taking the room and for me to contact Hotels.com for the refund since I paid thru them. front desk costumer service was horrible. We walked in on a person in the room they put us in who was already a patron of that room. After 1 hour of getting the run around, we finally got a room. The very next morning, an elder lady walked in our room cause they put her in our room for her visit. When she went back to get a refund cause she was now scared from that experience and felt unsafe, the property told her they could not give a refund and she had to take it or leave it. We were departing that room very soon, so we just let her have it instead of enduring what we went through the previous day with room changes.

I got locked out of my room with all my daughters stuff inside said room. I got bounced around from room to room because they couldn’t get into my room. It’s now almost 10am and they have yet to be able to open that room. They act as if that wasn’t a problem. Tylor was great, he tried as much as possible to help but the rest of the staff here including management it’s ridiculous

The check in process took forever as they were extremely inefficient. It took 40 mins for 3 parties to get checked in before me with 2 people working at the desk. It was mind boggling. I ended up being late for the show I was in town to see which was a bit frustrating. They did not speak English very well which really slowed things down. There was a clear communication barrier several times and all the parties in front of me were becoming frustrated as well. The bedding (cover and blanket) had cigarette burn holes all over them which was off putting. I saw one roach run out from under the bed (pretty common in FL so could have been worse, I suppose). On the plus side, the 1st floor shower was hot and had good water pressure, and the bed / pillows were comfortable, despite the bedding’s appearances. There was also a Denny’s next door which was convenient. I understand this isn’t the 4 Seasons Hotel, but I set the bar pretty low for this place and it was still quite disappointing overall. I will find somewhere else to stay the next time I’m in St. Petersburg.

I checked in at 4 pm and checked out at 4:15 pm. It was run down, dirty and dangerous. I am not a fussy client and I can tolerate a great deal, but this place reminds me that there’s a difference between tolerant and stupid. There was a big lady with a grocery cart full of her belongings camped out in the parking lot in front of a hotel room that was next to mine.

We arrived at Super 8 late at night because of flight delays. The signage to identify the building as well as directions to the front desk was not clear. The place felt a little sketchy, but I checked in and went to my room. We've stayed at bargain hotels before, but something about this one (outside of the updating that seems to be in progress) made us uncomfortable. It was a one-night stay and late at night so we were going to stay there anyway. Then there was an issue with the key card programming, so I could not get into my room. Brought it back to be reprogrammed, and had the same issue, and no one was available to figure out the problem. The only other room available was a smoking room, which is not an option for my family due to medical conditions. The front desk associate offered us a refund and guidance on how to contact hotels.com about a refund; he was very helpful and apologetic.

To begin with the Super 8 left a new clerk in charge with no login for the computer resulting in a 2 hour delay checking in. The rooms are in disrepair, roach infested, the outlets didn’t all work, the drain in the sink was clogged. The clients were questionable as the area is know for prostitution and drugs. Strong smell of marijauna all the time near the pool. I would rate it 1 star. This is no reflection on Expedia as they did their business professionally.

Trash around homeless people and hookers hanging around. No complimentary breakfast. Nasty sitting area around the pool. I will not be going back to this hotel. The only attended I like was Leah she was very nice and etc. Highly recommend her. Guest can't even use the lobby bathroom.

The most mismanaged Hotel I've ever been to. excuses for being understaffed. I asked for an extra blanket for my mother's bed, 36 hrs. later I'm still waiting. I asked Mgr. 2 times in that 36 hrs.. What he should have done was go to House keeping and get the blanket. By the way my Mother is 85 yrs. old. I gave her mine. The first Red Flag, was their is a chain link surrounding the Hotel. This Hotel was full of crack heads, dealers, prostitutes. I was approached serval times when going to my car. There is a lot more Negative to this Experience. All I'm saying is if You have any Class and care for your Family, DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! By the way I'm 67 yrs. I have little Experience in the Hospitality Industry. Service is First.

They do not serve breakfast, even though they advertise they do. When we went looking for it, they said they know it was advertised but they don't actually serve it. They only have granola bars and coffee - but they were out of the granola bars. The gates to the rooms are not kept locked and the area seems sketchy. The iron in the room was broken. The wire was cut, and the water leaked out of the cord. I hate to see what would have happened if the plug was still attached to it. The shower curtains were stained. The linens were torn. The TV didn't work. We ordered in food. I let it sit for one minute and came back to bugs in my food. (The bugs were from the room. The doors weren't open and there were no open windows.) Most disappointed about the false advertising for breakfast.

Staff not friendly they told me my reservation was not ready i had to call customers service. Smells Marijuana everywhere. Room very old..the cleaning very bad. Only one trash can in the roon, in the morning no coffe before 9 am at the reception the machine water had the filter expired.the only good thing is the location..the rest very bad..this is my first and last time in the hotel. I won't recommend this hotel to anybody

I had stayed at this property for years. They used to be far more accomidating. In the past, if I was early the staff would offer to hold my luggage for me until my room was ready so I could go and enjoy my day. This time I arrived early I thought the same would hold true...however I was very wrong. They refused to hold my luggage which left me sitting in the lobby for better than half the day. This damered things. The same hotel used to offer a breakfast and they still advertise it. However, they really offer just a cup of coffee and a snack bar...if you are lucky..that's it. Sometimes its coffee only. So this is misadvertising. The property still has bugs in the room...I saw a few in the bathroom. This was not a problem in the past. It seems things have been let go here...I am sure there are better options around..just check the reviews..

I get there and staff is unfriendly. I get to my room that’s supposed to have microwave and fridge only has a fridge that does not get cold no microwave not one time in a week that I stayed there did housekeeping come to my room nor did they offer me fresh towels, nor was there any type of soap whatsoever in the room, the faucet in the sink was not attached And there were cockroaches horrible horrible experience they say they offer breakfast. It’s a granola bar and a cup of lukewarm coffee.

This place is terrible.. do not stay here. My room was fairly big but not very clean, smelled like smoke and front desk wasn’t very friendly. Their page said they offered continental breakfast and all they had was juice and horrible coffee, no food whatsoever.

It was a roof over my head. No breakfast was available as was advertised and the water pressure sucked. I also didn't like the fact that the phones were broken for the past several weeks. Im downgrading my review to a 2 now that you asked.
