I loved the pool and hot tub! The staff was very nice as well. I stayed in this hotel two years ago while visiting the Salvador Dali Museum and came back for the beautiful pool. The hotel is well maintained and clean and there are also new owners making updates to the rooms.

University sports team trip. The hotel is great, I stay there a lot as does my family. One issue I ran into this trip is we were told we couldn't use our tax-exempt form because we booked through Hotels.com. never had that issue before at any other hotel so that was a bit frustrating to have to eat an extra $600 on the trip. Also the pool was under maintenance for the first two days of the trip which was not communicated to us at all. Would have likely booked a different hotel this time as we really needed the pool for the athletes on tournament days to recover and stretch.

Smelly when entering the lobby, like mold. First room smelled so bad we went to manager who smelled and apologized giving us a less stinky room. We were exhausted to walk back down so I tried to call and the phone was broken. Next day went to complain as bedding stunk, because they did wash it but room had faint mold smell which manager said was due to the rain. Next the elevator didn’t work, and outside pool spa jets broken. We will NEVER stay at this location ever again. I give it zero stars.

I never leave bad reviews. But I have to warn you all. The hotel is very dated and smells. They use a very fragrant air freshener to try and cover it. My whole families allergies were very bad inside, which is concerning as that means mold and dust were very present. The hot tub does not work and had a nasty film on top of the water. And to top it all off the room was dirty, the carpet damp, and I killed 3 German roaches. Stay far away until they clean this dump up!

I had to switch rooms four times. Every room had an issue not fixed, and the scents of their rooms on the pool side and parking lot side were significantly different - one side smelled nice and clean, and the other side smelled of mildew.

I know many of the Holiday Inns around the world have upgraded. I feel like this one needs some updates for sure. Although the service staff was nice, this location may need to look into renovating the bathrooms - or at least making sure they are really cleaned well. It was also a bit on the noisy side.

Stayed on the first floor, the hotel could do a much better job of cleaning and keeping the rooms in good shape. There was caulking peeling in the shower and around the sink, and it was a little dirty. The AC was set to 60 degrees in the room when I arrived, still too cold, even for the St. Petersburg heat.

Requested a room with accessible shower. The room and shower were good and great size. BUT, the room smelled damp. Put the AC at 70 and went our for 6 hours, but when we came back at night, it still had that smell.

Whoever brokerage the deal with Dove products is a genius. I love how they had Dove hands soap. Shower gel is Dove! It’s was amazing. Felt so good. The bed was so comfortable. I had an excellent stay. I love how the room is laid out. The moveable table. The mud room looking furniture next to mini refrigerator. The shower pressure was so good. I really enjoyed my stay.

There is one old man that work there and every time I go there he is there and is not friendly. The only other thing is check in is at 3 but they never have rooms ready. Other than that the rooms are clean and nice. They do take a long time to refund your 100 dollar deposit

This hotel will get your credit card information and auth. charges without your permission. They have charged my card on four different occasions. And even after giving me and my husband a receipt at checkout went back and charged my card again for an amount double our stay. After contacting them they still refused to refund my money and hung up the phone when contacted. Please do not book with this company at all. They have fraudulent activities going on within their establishment.

Our stay was ok until the day that we didn’t get our room cleaned for some unknown reason. I went to the front desk, told the young lady that we hadn’t gotten the service, her response was: ok? I told her it was not, and asked if I could at least have clean towels. “Let me see what I can find” she said and went to the back. She told me they didn’t have any towels just these really small and almost see through ones. I took them and had to do with them. The worst part was this young lady’s attitude. No apologies or concern for resolving the issue in an acceptable manner.

I stayed for 3 nights over thanksgiving. I was told breakfast was included except they would be closed on Thanksgiving. Completely understood that except there wasnt any breakfast any of the days. Only coffee & water. They took $100 deposit for incidentals. Its been over 2 weeks and they still haven’t released the funds. They were very rude and blamed my bank at first. I called my bank, they tokd me the hotel is still holding the funds. Called the hotel for a 2nd time. Front desk told me “i’ll do what I can on my part but It’ll be 3-5 business days” Im still waiting

We stayed here recently to go to a Tampa Bay Rays baseball game. It was less than 10 minutes away and very easy to get to the park. Definitely highly recommended if looking for a place close to Tropicana Field. More importantly, the front desk host Joel, was absolutely the nicest person I've ever encountered at any hotel. He was very personable to myself and my family. Good customer service is hard to find these days and Joel gave me hope that there are still nice people/staff in this world. The hotel was clean, the pool area was great with the largest hot tub I've ever seen, lol. We will stay here every year that we come down for a Rays game!

Clean, updated hotel. Very quiet on a weekday. Nice pool. Bright, cheery lobby. Desk staff very friendly and chatty. Really big parking lot; easy in-and-out. 8 minute drive to Tropicana field. Great location if you are in town for a ball game.

Nice hotel with pool and hot tub we enjoyed. Room was clean. But disappointed in they advertise restaurant open at 5 and the bar from 5-10. Both nights we stayed they were closed. Employees not showing we were told. So walk across busy road to Wendy’s for dinner. The facility is nice but don’t expect the restaurant or bar to be open.

I had breakfast one morning & ordered the plain 2 pancakes. I received a bill of $11.96, Yikes!!!! Should have gone to Denny's, and would have gotten 3 breakfasts. Never again.

The staff, particularly Pat at the bar, was great. The food considering a limited bar type menu was also surprisingly good. The pool area is very large with plenty of seating and space with outdoor access to the bar. The property, while seemingly renovated, is already looking dingy and not what I would call super clean. It was fine for what we were here for, which was a baseball tournament with teenagers, but I don’t think I would seek it out as my first choice again.
