Didn’t like the parking situation. Upon arrival, it was hard to park to register for my room. The valet service works, but it’s expensive and slow. I opted for a cheaper parking option around the corner from the hotel. I witnessed a number of guests having long waits to retrieve their vehicles. The valet service took an hour to get the car. We were forced to skipped activities already for tickets for. Hotel staff should e at least offer to refund the absurd $48 overnight charges. She didn’t say a word.

only negative things I can say are: The elevator was broken down when we checked in and we had to walk 12 flights to our room. Was fixed with in a few hours There were some cobwebs in the corner of our room. The parking is non existent unless you want to pay over $50.00 or more to valet park and what is available is hard to see and find, better visibility would help as to parking ramps.

I think you need a bigger valet space. Very convenient for activities. Staff were very friendly especially the man and woman bartenders. A lot of homeless people wanting money. Restaurants were only blocks away and were very good.

Dirty sock in bathroom from guests before us, alone with dirty tissues stuffed back into the dispenser. Long black hair on towel when we’re both blonde. When checking in the attendant and supervisor were arguing and didn’t stop the entire time during. It was cringy and very embarrassing. Dirty carpets and floors.

Our bed obviously haven’t been changed, just made, because there was pizza sauce all down the side of the bed and all on the handles of the closet. We called down for sheets and they were out of sheets that fit our bed so events they dropped off a pile of flat sheets for us to make it. When we told the front desk they assured us they added points to our membership for our trouble. But they lied and there are no points on our account. Customer service online wasn’t bothered. For $300+ a night, that’s really crummy.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating.The room seemed clean and inviting. Unfortunately at 11:30pm a massive cockroach made an appearance in my room. Never experienced anything like it. The front desk person changed my room. The breakfast was good, but must have had a rush just before i got there, because all of the tables that were empty were dirty.and the buffet counters a mess. Sorry Hampton....but this property will be a hard pass the next time I'm in town.

Room and bathroom were both very clean however the carpet could use a cleaning. My bare feet were filthy when I showered. Pillows need replaced badly but the beds have a few more years to go. Parking was outrageous and during peak times, slow.

The hotel was very nice and location was terrific. The only negative was that the outside noise (ambulance, police and fire truck) from sirens was continuous and lasted throughout the night. We were located on the 15th floor and it seemed like the windows and walls were not insulated from the sound at all. Very little sleep at night for those who are not used to that level of noise.

We loved it was within walking distance to Progressive Field. We also loved that we got a corner room and could see Lake Erie from our window. Parking options were limited, but we used a garage and didn’t move the truck all night and cost us $25 the next day to get out. Beautiful hotel and very friendly staff were also a plus!

The location was good for close access to restaurants but the street noise wasn’t so good at night until things seemed to quiet down after midnight. Lots of noisy vehicles and motorcycles, blaring music, and sirens. The hotel itself was plenty adequate. Clean place to lay your head.

The front desk staff was super nice and fun. They were very friendly. The room was clean and beds comfortable. Convient location with easy walk to the stadium. Only complaint is they need better windows with soundproofing. Fire station must be nearby because you heard sirens all the time and they seemed to always come down the street and turn left right before the hotel. We were on 11th floor and heard clear as day maybe higher up wouldn't hear as much.

Windows are thin. Sirens and motoercycle and car noise made it difficult to sleep. Front desk staff very friendly. Took over a half hour to get car from valet, and only got it after I went and asked what the hold up was. Breakfast great.

Great Hotel and location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also great! The only complaint would be the street noise, all night long. Motorcycles, firetrucks and sirens. The windows are paper thin! I’ve stayed in many hotels in big city’s and you shouldn’t hear all that noise.

We stayed here for 1 night. It was fine for the night, but I would splurge on something better next time. I saw the reviews complaining about the noise and ignored them - they put us in a room on a low floor near the elevator with a window facing the street. I will agree that the walls and windows are very thin. It is also worth noting we were told all double rooms are located near the elevators. It wasn’t unbearable & the staff did say to call them if it got rowdy & assured us that it never does — and they were correct, it’s just that you can hear cars drive by & conversations in the hallway. Again, it was fine for one night especially if you are staying out late/waking up early. I will say that the staff was overall nice. But I had asked for Hampton Inn’s signature breakfast to-go bag and the breakfast attendants went into the back for several minutes (10 ) to the point where I felt they were going to wait until breakfast was officially over to come out. So I did not get the bag - was hoping for a contact-free breakfast but was able to grab cereal boxes, fruit, yogurt. Location is very walkable on a relatively calm block. If you want to be closer to the scene, bars/restaurants & public square, I would opt for something closer to Euclid Ave., but again, very walkable from this location. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, sports stadiums, etc. all very walkable. Overall, good experience for the night, but not impressed. If I were staying longer I’d opt for a more premium experience.

Very enjoyable stay.. valet , breakfast, rooms were great! Check in clerk behind desk was ride and uncooperative when I asked questions.. I was shocked how belligerent she was .. i was not in any way impressed with her customer service skills.. I was close to telling her off. I was being very polite but she was extremely rude and nasty for no reason. Again, high marks for everything else.

Next morning, the front desk lady was not happy that no card was file. For some reason, she was short with us and which made us feel at fault. Our stay at Hampton Inn downtown Cleveland has gone beautifully. The facility is clean, quiet, and comfortable. The aspect that puts this visit in an even higher category is the customer service reps. Upon our arrival we were greeted by two friendly, helpful associates. The warm welcome we received from these two people set the tone for a wonderful stay. Thank you Cat and HD.

Our room was not cleaned the second day. We asked the front desk about it and they immediately sent someone up. We left the room while she cleaned it. We were gone for several hours and returned to find our room door propped open. It had been key that way for hours. Luckily nothing was stolen. I complained to the front desk and the manager said he would mention it to the housekeeper manager. This was a serious issue that I felt was brushed under the carpet.

The bed was hard as a rock. We had to call for extra pillows twice and wait two hours to receive them and even then we were only given one. Asked for extra wash cloths and towels the next day which never arrived. The “convenience” store was practically empty. There was barely any staff working. The woman working the front desk Friday night was very rude and yelled at a couple of young men right in front of myself and my daughter and then when I asked her if they had any bandaids and I had cut my finger, she acted annoyed as if I had asked her to something extremely difficult. We also used the valet service which took forever to drop off and to pick up (the young man working was very very sweet and helpful but he was the only one working and he was clearly doing everything he could possibly do). The vending machines on the floors were out of service. All of this during a major concert weekend. And to top everything off when we checked out and requested our car (which wasn’t driven by us since we had dropped it off) we were informed that it had a flat tire. The tire was perfectly fine when we dropped it off, there wasn’t even a warning light on in the car. We were informed we had to call someone from the city to come change the tire for us and now have to pay $220 for a new tire. My tires aren’t even 3 years old. The only good thing was the young man that was working the valet. He was super sweet and very helpful, I wish I had gotten his name! 5’9 brown curly hair, maybe 25.

Well, it has been 6 months now and they have been dodging my calls.I stayed at this hotel last February. i used the Valet Parking. I had a pile of money for tolls and parking in my Ford Escort. it was in the car when they took possession. It was gone when they returned it. I called the hotel to report it. Jennifer the manager seemed so concerned when I told her my story. I was told to fill out a report online. I did and I never heard from anyone again. I have called the hotel six times since then and no one will return my call.

The front clerk wasnt very engaged with me. She would talk to me with her back to me, and was quickly rattling off information to me that i wasnt hearing very well. She wasnt speaking very clearly either. I had to ask her to repeat heraelf a couple times. The stay was otherwise OK, but she could.habe used better customer.sercice skills.

First trip to Cleveland and went to the zoo. Rick and Roll Hall of Fame tomorrow. Using this property as we can wall to the Hall of Fame. Pleasantly surprised by the super friendly desk staff. Room was ready, clean and in excellent condition. Close to local restaurants and other attractions.

We were greeted by Cathy on the front desk. She is high energy and so friendly. Mike the bartender was great as well as the polite staff at the buffet breakfast. All employees would greet you to make you feel comfortable. Great location to Progressive Park as well as to the waterfront and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
