Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland Airport

This was a good hotel with some big issues. They are in the middle of a full remodel, and the whole hotel is torn up. Their people sit in the hallway because the lobby area is closed. The pool area is closed. They are running the bar and restaurant out of a meeting room. One of the elevators stopped working one of the days. It was a real mess. Our room on the top floor was nice looking with brand new decor. However, there were intrinsic functionality issues. We could hear the people next door EASILY. One day they had a cell phone alarm going off clearly for 45 minutes; even from down the hallway standing at the elevator. A part of the desk fell off when the glue let go. The shower door wouldn't close all the way, the shower head pipe was loose and would twist inside the wall if you tried to re-aim the sprayer. And there was no vent fan, so the steam got bad very quickly.

We stayed here for a basketball tournament and were extremely disappointed. The lobby was closed when we arrived, with no clear directions for check-in. The process was cold—no welcome, no info—just handed a room key. The pool was closed, which was never communicated, and the elevator situation was awful (only one working). We were on the 6th floor and had to take the stairs most of the time. Housekeeping never came. We had to make our beds, take out trash, and go get our own towels and clean sheets due to stains. After a long day of games, my daughter couldn’t shower because there were no clean towels in the room. We discovered breakfast by accident. Staff was loudly complaining about how much food people were taking, making it uncomfortable. No instructions on where to leave dishes, and staff disappeared mid-service. Checkout was rushed and dismissive, and when we asked about a refund due to all the issues, we were told management wasn’t available until Monday. Later, our refund was denied because we “fulfilled our reservation” per our travel site. We also witnessed a family checking out early due to finding a roach, and the staff’s response was “what would you like me to do?”—unprofessional and unacceptable. This stay was stressful, and the lack of communication, cleanliness, and accountability made it worse. I would not recommend this hotel to families or teams.

The property was under heavy construction and everything was in disarray. I had to pay full price for a terrible, terrible nights stay. Oh yeah, and the gym was closed so I had to go for a run outside in 25 degree weather.

Close to airport for an easy drive. Very clean. Friendly staff. Doing some renovations, I'm sure it will be even better!

The hotel itself was very nice. The rooms very well appointed with amenities including a wireless phone charger, plenty of outlets, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, all the things. But... the bed was horrible! It squeaked and we could feel the springs. Also you can hear everything from the floor above you. People are LOUD AF. There will be no sleeping here. If you are fine with that, its great! Lol! Very close to airport and they do offer a shuttle. But it stops running at midnight.

Great and very friendly staff. Easy to stay with large dog. Only negative thing is the moldy shower. Seems like it has never been cleaned and was very surprising

The room had tons of dead lady bugs on the floor under the air conditioner. Never cleaned the room. Paid over $600 for 2 nights and never stayed the second night. I expected a much nicer place than this

Our room wasn't the cleanest. The door to our room kept sticking, it wouldn't open several times. All the ice machines were either broke, or out of ice

Large, clean, comfortable room.

It is in rough shape inside. The tiles in the bathroom were coming loose and would shift when you walked on them. The shower was not cleaned, lots of hair in it. The heater in the room smelt like it was burning dust when we turned the heat to 72 degrees.

The lights in the room were few and very dim. Do not expect to get any reading done during your stay as you will not be able to see your book. Shower was obviously not cleaned.

The entirety of the hotel was Filthy. Hot tub was closed, Hair was everywhere, bugs and dirt. Everything was just dirty

Very clean, well lit, everything works. Pool, hot tub, were clean and in like new condition. Breakfast was excellent!!

It was a very clean room and much larger than I expected. I was very impressed with all the special touches to make my visit comfortable.

Very clean great stay!!!

After a long hectic week, I wanted a quiet home away from home stay. Just sleep and relaxation. My stay was all that!!! The room was super clean state of the art up grades a modern look and feel. Most importantly comfy bed.

Not so good, noisy .1.Room 208 is one room away from the elevators and the equipment room is below just below. The hotel is finishing up some renovations, the new equipment looked to be installed but may not running yet. 2. The fan or compressor motor on the a/c unit was pretty loud when it kicked on. To be fair,I didn't request a different room or complain, but I should have. The staff was friendly.

A little below the average Hilton, but overall good. Nappy old bed cover was replaced the 2nd day, but nothing was done about the metal bedframe protruding 5" that gave a good cut on my leg. Comfortable bed and pillows.

All doors to the rooms closed so hard that every time a door closed or sounded like someone slammed it.

The AC was broken in my room I didn’t know bc I got in late and turned it on and went to bed it was so hot, it was 74 when I woke up. I had a hard time sleeping

Staff was very pleasant, used the shuttle it was on time. Property being renovated, my room over looked the heating/AC system, so a little noisy.

I didn't like the room, it was dark and outdated. I didn't like the location.

Overcharged

We were assigned a room at check-in on the 3rd floor but the door wouldn’t open then they assigned us a room on the 6th floor but the maintenance manager put us in a closer room on the 3rd floor. The front desk staff wanted to move us again to the 6th floor. We ended up on the 3rd floor. The front desk staff were rude to us severely times. The shuttle drivers and maintenance manager were great.

From the start wasn't good..Good luck with trying to get the hotel answering the phone to send the shuttle to the airport!!!! Everything else goes down…

The check-in staff was not very helpful. They seemed very overwhelmed and were unable to print me a receipt. They said that would have to email it which still has not happened.

The only bad review I have is they didn’t give us our wake up call.

The team working the front desk and in the lobby restaurant were excellent and loved their jobs because customers like me were taken care of in their roles. Great job everyone!

Quick stay prior to an early flight. Enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room and establishment was clean and well kept. Would stay here again.

The property was very clean and kept up. The room was very well kept. The customer service was not so great. I waited over an hour for the shuttle car because they didn't realize after telling the front desk 3 times that I was waiting for the shuttle service to the airport that I was there. The afternoon front desk staff were rude. The morning staff was much nicer and more helpful.

Property was closely located to airport which was the reason for our stay. Easy self park, comfortable beds.

The facility was nice, just a little dated. The staff was friendly and courteous. In all fairness, we only stayed a few hours and did not have time to enjoy any hotel amenities like the pool or exercise room. Also, nothing close by so feels kind of isolated.

The street leading up to Hilton Garden Inn needs to be better maintained. It makes one wonder if the hotel will be in the same condition as the street! Thankfully, that was not the case.

We enjoyed our stay. We were able to walk to a nearby pub for dinner and used the shuttle for an early morning flight. Very convenient.

Pleasant stay overall. Staff accommodating and friendly. Not much nearby, as far as food goes. Probably best for business travel-clean room but really poorly lit.

Lobby and restaurant not available under construction. So no dinner when we arrived. Breakfast not ready at 7 am as advertised and told to us by employees . Still had to pay full price for half price service. Will not stay here again and I’m getting tired of Hotel .com not having our backs when we the customers have issues. You both can be replaced.

There was an artist playing in the lobby for a couple hours. He was very good added great entertainment for our stay. Having the restaurant and bar area without having to go out in to unknown territory was great. Would definitely recommend.
