It was one on the cheapest rooms i could find at $111/night Hotel was having some remodeling being done, the elevators seemed to be on their last leg, room was fine, basic Breakfast was free, it was... ok. The worker in charge of stocking was doing great tho! Beds were again, ok This stay was for my son and I going to six flags, great proxmity to the park, good location The outdoor pool was freezing so we ended up not using it. Looks like the pool area was renovated, looked nice.

Check in was easy. The room was humid. The door was hard to open and close. There was no ventilation in the bathroom which made it worse when someone took a shower. The shower faucet kept dripping making it not eco-friendly. Breakfast was good and check out was easy. The pool and lounge chairs were great. You are close to restaurant, fast food and a gas station.

The bed made clunky noises. There was no room to eat breakfast. The pool closes early and opens late. The parking was very limited due to construction. The one open treadmill was broken. The $50 fee was not what I expected and was not warned about in the reservation. The hair in my shower was not my favorite. The hallway was hot and smelly. The staff was courteous and helpful. The view was interesting of Six Flags. The temperature was comfortable and easily adjusted in the room. Check in was fast even with the line. The fitness room was small but full of equipment. The ice machine was great and the bottle filler was helpful. What we could get to for breakfast was tasty and hot. It wasn’t a bad stay, unfortunately we are just comparing it to our very recent stay at Hampton Inn in Kenosha and that was perfection; Sours it for other locations.

Currently under renovation, but the hallways smell mechanical. Breakfast was pretty much devoured by a soccer travel team by the time we got to breakfast. Beds were not very comfortable.

I personally would never stay at this place again. They should have it list on line that they were under construction and gave us the opportunity to say we wanted to go there or not. They had construction going on there through out the whole hotel and they had many people working on the hotel til late nights. The food was ok but the lights went out in the room they was serving the food in because the dining room was under construction so some people could not eat hot food. it was unsafe for your kids because many men was working and I have girls 12 and 14 years old. it was hell for these two days not to mention we had hair in the bathroom around the toilet and in the corners on the floor of the bathroom tub was not clean and when you look out the window all you see is hotel furniture and and garbage and men working outside the hotel but the pool area was the greatest thing there but it was outside

Hotel is in serious need of upgrade. Some exterior renovation was being done. Furniture should have been replaced years ago, especially in common area. Our room did not even have a toliet paper holder. Parking area is one big pot hole. Breakfast area needs to be rearranged. People waiting for waffle block whole area.

There was a large snow during our stay. The parking lot was not cleared making it dangerous to walk and had to dig my vehicle out after getting stuck. No room service after it was requested

A pool was listed but it is seasonal and not meantioned until small print. Usually don’t book on a website. Won’t be using a website or Hampton Inn again. My mistake and it cost me.

This place is horrible!! Mold in the bathrooms!! Rust on the walls, curtains are filthy, mattresses are lumpy and the pillows are flat!!!! I will NEVER stay here again until they close down and renovate!!!! P. S. The furniture is old and stained!!

I flew into town for a funeral and upon checking into my room I found a full trash can which included an old banana peel. There was no hot water in the shower. I ran it for 10 minutes and it never got hot. I turn the knob thinking I had it wrong and it got colder so I knew I had it correct initially. I also had a terrible cold and there was only 2 sheets of tissue left with no back up. So I had to use toilet paper, less than ideal. I told all this to the front desk when checking out and she said she’d inform the manager, but I never heard back. I honestly think I should get some kind of compensation.

Very old, and unclean smelling and looking. Our bedsheets must not have been changed before we arrive because they had both hair and makeup on them. Staff was quick to rectify issues by providing additional sheets that we had to change on our own. But cleanliness is absolutely a 0/10. Odors in the hallways and you room. Would not recommend to anyone looking for a clean stay.

Old world rg dirty carpets and stained walls. Dirty old furniture in the room. Picked up and threw away several bugs on the wall and in the ba th room. Would never stay again despite the great location.

Hotel is under going renovations but we received a remodeled room and everything was nice. Beds were comfortable enough, everything was clean and the breakfast was a good spread. Perfect location to Six Flags Great America. Will stay again next time we're in town for Six Flags.

Rooms are newly renovated! Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean! Close to Great America and Gurnee Outlet Mall. It will be really nice when the entire hotel is finished including the lobby.

The room that was issued to us was nice and all. But the room only had 2 lamps that worked at night the lamps that hung right by the bed didn't work at all. The room was very dark. We told the hotel personnel they came in to check the issue out and he just said well i guess they don't work. Well we just stayed there cause it was close to where my niece graduation took place.

I liked this property. Very clean, and nice staff. The building is old and needs ro be renovated but its still in great condition. The only draw back was its next to the highway so its kind of noisy. But over all great stay.

Originally it seemed like a decent place. Day two noticed bugs flying in the ceiling. Called down to the front desk no one answered. For two of my five day stay, there was a soccer team there. Literally lined up right in front of me and took all the food. The coach said something several times to them. Day two got up around 7 went down there, same thing no oatmeal. I Came back at 8 and 9 hoping there would be some made. I asked the cook at nine and she said she wasn’t making anymore. I’m saying all this to say… if there is a team maybe designate a time for them to get breakfast. Oh yeah, my room was never cleaned and I had to ask for my own towels.

Our king room was not available when we arrived at 10pm and was actually given away and we were asked if we wanted to pay for upgrade. No thanks I would like our room. Being tired and waiting in lobby for 20 minutes the front desk attendant got the ok from management to put us in a double queen. Too late at night for us to care but none the less irritating

The staff was very friendly, from the first greeting to checkout. Every interaction was pleasant and professional. Rooms were clean, carpet was clean, no complaints here. The main lobby was a bit noisy since there was a party with a lot of kids but that's not something that is the staff's fault.

We had car issues, ended up stranded in the rain, arrived soaking wet and just completely exhausted. The staff was super accommodating, grabbing us clean towels to keep the kids warm while we checked in, and offering us hot chocolate to warm up. I felt so welcome and taken care of… 6/5 stars… above and beyond!

Property felt run down with a few decor upgrades to hide its age. Carpet in the room was filthy. We had to be moved rooms due to the first one being not clean. Free breakfast was pretty awful. Cold turkey sausage from box and waffles with syrup, no butter.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The front staff was courteous and the facility was clean. I only wish there was more seating for breakfast in the lobby. It would get pretty crowded in the mornings, and some families didn’t have a choice but to take food back to their rooms.

Everything was wonderful, no funky smells never saw a bug, towels & sheets were clean (no stains). Great hot breakfast every morning, it was always a type of egg concoction, either bacon or sausage, always potatoes & waffle makers.
