The hotel is old, curtains would not close properly, rug to rooms in poor condition. Bathroom was ok, had to get it fixed half way into our stay as handle on valve came loose. Showerhead was plastic. Very outdated. Price was very good, but would not stay here again. Staff, specially the restaurant and housekeeping were extremely nice. Gym very poor, hardly anything for a decent workout. Pool smelled of chlorine badly. Not inviting to go for a swim. Very nice pond outside hotel.

Because it was cold outside, I decided to have dinner and drinks in the he hotel restaurant Thirty O Three. Big mistake, and I knew better. The place was dead empty. I ordered the Beef Tenderloin and Portobello. Server asked how I’d like it, medium is always my choice. I was surprised. It came out so quickly. The meat was white. I kid you not. Server asked me how does it look. I was so hungry, I ate half, and I’ll never forgive myself. I should’ve sent it back, and complained. I’ve never seen been look like that. I asked the server why does it look like this. She shrugged, and said I don’t know, maybe that’s the way they cook it. My margarita was good, but the rim was covered with coarse Kosher salt, not Margarita salt. Room was spacious, but sleep was uncomfortable under a noisy down comforter, that made crunchy sounds every time you moved. The one plus of the entire stay was my cookie was warm.

Stayed 2 nights for a wedding. Was very convenient but parking was a challenge. Nice banquet facilities and bar. Fitness center was small and only 1 treadmill was working. Had difficulty getting connected to the wifi.

We got stuck in the elevator for 10 minutes and nothing worked,we had someone on the 5 floor go get help I really don’t think they inspected them when we had to wait to get a person that was staying there get help for us ,fyi stay on the first floor!!

Most comfortable bed. Indoor pool at perfect temperature and open long hours. Bartender knows her job well, perfect martini. Food in restaurant and at bar is varied and delicious.

Even with the power outage for about 40 minutes the staff explained what happened and the expected time till it cam back on. Food was very good. Pool area was very clean and comfortable.

The pool is very nice. The room needs better ventilation, especially in the bathroom. I realize this is not easy since vent exhaust fans were not put in when constructed. There is plenty of room for a small refrigerator in the room. Most travelers expect this!!

Out of date furniture, stains on curtains, black mold on floor shower tiles in corners. At 8:45-8:55pm at night a family of 3 tried to enter my room when I was starting to fall asleep. Thought someone was trying to break in the room! I opened the door & woman with a key said this was her room. I said no it’s mine, I checked in 5 hours ago. She told me her room key number & I asked for the room number twice to double check. She quickly flashed the key card at me. I told her to go to the lobby and get it checked out. I called front lobby and a I explained the situation to a female right away. No apology or showing concern over the phone, no follow up phone call to explain situation. Morning came, I checked out and explained situation to the front desk. He had no notation of issue from last night. He said the guest was just mistaken for going to the wrong room. I told him she repeated the room number several times. And was very serious about the room number being hers! Male employee just seemed confused and felt like he was making excuses. Again, no, I’m sorry or apologies or showing a bit of concern of what happened. Poor customer service and care.

It really needs to be remodeled and cleaned. This place is very outdated and unfortunately filthy. When we walked into our room, the smell of smoke and grim hit us instantly. Our bed sheets were stained and torn and the dust in the room was crazy. Everything had dust on it, I even found a half inch buildup of dust next to the night stand.

Friendly staff and very safe area and parking lot. The hotel is very outdated, dirty carpet on hallways,not so clean rooms - found q-tips on the room floor, hair on the bathroom floors, room card didn't work properly, looked ice machine door (floor 4), the room card didn't open it). We had no TV remote when arrived (we requested one and delivered very fast), no fridge in the room (not acceptable for a 3 star hotel)

This was a horrible experience. The bedding was dirty and stained.. basically used. They provided a new room which smelled so bad we had to check out . The smell made my eyes & throat hurt and my daughter was getting a headache from the smell. We checked out and left the hotel. They said they would authorize a full credit.

It's an older facility. The room was cold when I arrived. The heating/cooling unit was strange because it was difficult to adjust the unit. There was no refrigerator and microwave in the room. Wasn't really that quiet.

We had to request a mini fridge. I found this to be Extremely odd, I would think this is a given in every hotel. Air condition was inconsistent throughout the evening making the room unpleasant throughout the night with a hot temperature. Loud neighbors as well. Staff was ok.

I really was not happy with my stay. I have been to several double trees and they have not been this low in value at all. I could not get an internet connection so I could log onto my computer, the phone in the room did not work. I reported it and it still did not get fixed and when I returned to my room every night to go to bed I woke up in a sweat because the AC would not get cool enough. All these things were reported and did not get fixed. Also there is no refrigerators in the room and the TVs are very outdated.

Just be aware there is no fridge and no microwave in your room! We packed a cooler and brought our own food that way. They charge $50 a night for incidentals, and you can use the incidentals to pay for bar and food. Overall a nice hotel and quiet comfortable stay!

WiFi was difficult to sign in so we had to get help from front desk. WiFi weak for our 3 day stay so we just used our own data. Found multiple large blond hairs on our pillow. Power outage in half of the room so maintenance informed us we cannot blowdry our hair when something else is plugged in on same outlet. Room didn’t have fridge or microwave we had to ask to be on waiting list if we want a fridge. Staff was nice at front desk. I was charged $31 for a demand movie I never watched. The front desk did credit us so we didn’t have to pay for it. The tv did not have anything on it worth watching so we had it turned off most of the time. All in all, I do not recommend this hotel. We will not be back.

We arrived at 3pm for checkin, room wasn't ready till almost 4pm. Was told it was 2 queen sized beds, but it was actually 2 full sized beds. They told us there were no rooms available, then changed us to a single bed with a pull out couch and a roll away bed. 2nd room had no refrigerator and the toilet was clogged when we got there. The older gentleman that was at the front desk in the morning was very rude.

We had a great time staying at DoubleTree in Naperville! The staff were friendly, welcoming, professional, and quick to address any issues that came up. They use text to check in on guests, and I shared a concern regarding an iron that wasn’t working - they quickly delivered a new one to my room. Love it. Would stay again!

To start, the hotel is very old. The hotel is definitely in need of a renovation. The parking is ridiculous. If you do not get a space right in front, you have to walk a long way from the parking lot to the hotel. As a woman, traveling alone, that is very scary. Last, but not least, Michael, who worked the front desk was one of the rudest employees that I have ever encountered in any industry, But specifically in the hotel industry. He was rude, condescending, and very difficult to deal with. I heard him treat other customers in the same way, other customers were complaining. I will never stay there again.

One of my best stays. Started with the check in desk and the professional way I was treated and went on to a wonderful room on the 8th floor. That includes if I wanted bottles of water by the check in women. I did not get the opportunity to dine at your property but I am sure it would have been a great experience. Staff was friendly at check in. Room was missing TV remote, and upon looking for the remote we found three water bottles and a pair of socks under the bed. Front desk was apologetic and sent up staff to send a replacement quickly. Only one out of four lamps in the room worked. Beds are clean and comfortable. Pool area was quiet with a nice view of the grounds.

This is my second time staying at the property with my husband. We enjoy the convenience and the quietness of the neighborhood. The staff were very friendly with the best cookies ever the room was very clean. I just wish I had a microwave and a fridge. We would definitely stay again.

There should be a free coffee station instead of having to pay $4.50 for a coffee in a paper cup. Most hotels have free coffee. You actually have the space which is currently unused right by the front door. It was disappointing.

Everything was great up until the breakfast. I very clearly stated multiple times I wasn’t aware it was a paid breakfast. I saw the menu but thought the stale bakery items were part of a free grab and go. I’m sure it was my mistake but after how many times I announced I thought it was free, I h th ought they would inform me otherwise. Other than the rude waiter the rest of the staff was great.

The breakfast was fantastic! The bar was nice and the bartender was personable and accomodating. The hotel is clean, but could use updating. In my opinion the 6th floor “private key” access was not worth the upcharge. We were expecting access to snacks or bottled water rather than just a floor where others could access unless their key card allowed for it; however we were advised that they haven’t had food / water there available since before Covid. It was evening when we checked in and the lights were off. It was just a dark lit room with seating, but not inviting because it appeared closed. Lastly, because we did have the Private key access we we entitled to free bottled water (one, per person, for each night of our stay) at the front desk and the clerk, without checking first, said we could only have it at check-in. The other clerk remembered us and informed her that we were 6th floor guests and entitled to it. I do appreciate that she remembered us without checking the system. It gave it a more personal touch.

Breakfast buffet was excellent. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Rooms dated but not something i minded. Wish it did have a mini fridge as i like to have cold drinks on hand.
