It was a nice room, with a balcony and lake view. with that being said I know it would be probably a hard thing to do but there needs to be rugs in the wood floors especially with it being winter - the floors were wet when we walked in after being outside and then when looking out the balcony same again - brought snow in - no place to put wet shoes. the heat/air conditioner was very noisy especially when it goes off and on all night long to try and get some sleep, but it did drown out the party next door when it was on and the people going in and out of there doors loudly including going down the stairs and letting there wheels on there suitcases hit every step. the breakfast was ok wish there was a bit more of choice for hot foods but it was ok for the price of the hotel, glad I had points to use to knock a few bucks off. It was not the worst of places I have been at by far and would actually stay there again being it did have a great view and the restaurant next door was good to stop in a grab a bite. very nice to see the lake view :-) wasnt expecting that

Check-in was efficient and friendly. We were given helpful information about amenities on site and about local restaurants. We got a first-floor room on the back side of the motel that was nice and quiet and we could park conveniently right outside our door. I like that. We would stay there again.

The price was very reasonable and the room was clean except for the floors which we noticed walking on it with bare socks made the socks dirty. The heater fan was quite loud in room 119 and sounded the same even at lower settings. But in general, we like the location close to the lakes and state park and would stay there again.

Room was terrible. After I signed papers saying I couldn’t smoke in the room or I’d be charged I went up to my room to sleep & it reeked of smoke! It was 1am when we checked in so I didn’t wanna throw a fit over it. It was so terrible I got the worst migraine from an Allergy flare up over the smell all night. The pillows were rock hard. The fridge that wouldn’t get cold & stunk so bad when I opened it sat there & clicked all night long. Seriously got no sleep at all! I was thankful I only booked 1 night there. The outside balcony was full of cobwebs and there was even one in the doorway to go out there. The best thing about the place was the new shower in our room that was clean.

Really cute hotel in a great location, right across from the lake! The front desk staff were so friendly and welcoming, and everything was super clean. The only downside was the air conditioning, which was pretty loud. But overall, it was a lovely stay and I’d definitely come back!

We left the Cadillac Ecno Lodge within minutes of seeing our room. From the moment we walked on property, everyone in our group felt unsafe. We arrived to the room that had a horrible musty odor and did not feel like it had been cleaned beyond making the beds in a very long time. We checked out immediately and booked at a different hotel in the area. The hotel manager said we would have to request a refund through Expedia. When we went through Expedia, the hotel manager was contacted and they denied our request because they stated they verified "the room was clean." This hotels management is either completely disconnected from reality or completely lazy. Either way, there are much nicer options in the area. Do not waste your time here!

My biggest complaints are the following. 1. Shower pressure was horrible 2. The pillows were like sleeping on a bag of concrete 3. They advertise Queen beds in actuality they are full size and the beds SUCK. We stayed there from June 30th - July 5th and i maybe got 2 hours of actual sleep due to the beds. Worst stay in a hotel, motel, inn, tent, hole , camper i have ever had. Sadly we wont be staying there again.

The hotel was wonderfully simple and very clean. I thought it was a great place to return to until I met the morning desk person. When I asked for a receipt she said they don't give receipts because I booked with Expedia. I would need to get my receipt from Expedia because that is who I booked with. She had a bit of an unfriendly attitude while she explained it. It was a bit of a shock considering I have always gotten a receipt directly from the hotel, not from Expedia. Other cons included road noise that came through loudly throughout the night and noisy heating unit.

The bed was very comfortable. My only complaint was that there was no heat on when we arrived and it took over an hour for it to warm up. We had to sit in front of the heater with our coats on to warm up.

This is a very nice little motel. Clean and updated, friendly staff. My only criticism would be that I heard a lot of other people both beside and above my room, even over the tv. This could be true of about any place. Plan on staying there again.

The bed was comfortable but there was people's clothes in the hall and in the parking lot they refused to pick up stating they can't touch that stuff. The other guests, immigrants, were up at 6 am slamming doors, playing music and being loud in the hallway and the staff said there's nothing they could do. Those same individuals took all the continental breakfast so there was nothing for us or any other guests to eat. They were smoking weed and cigarettes in the rooms and in the hallway until around midnight and staff did nothing. When we checked out they billed someone else's account as my name wasn't the name on the receipt and then proceeded to tell us that the room we were in wasn't supposed to have been rented to us as there are problems with it and nobody was supposed to stay in that room. I will never ever stay here again. They didn't care about our issues at all. And since we got in so late, we didn't have a choice. It was take it or sleep in the car.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a funeral. Paid cash and cash deposit. When I went in to check out at 10 am. There was no one at the desk. So we had to leave to go the funeral. We came back to later to get our deposit back. They refused to give us our deposit back claiming we smoked in the room. Which we absolutely 💯 did not smoke in the room or on balcony. We smoked in our vehicle! I will never go to this location again nor will my family! I'm so pissed 😤 don't pay cash for a room there cause you will not get your deposit back. The manger refused to talk to us

This is a fairly good budget hotel. The price is higher than the hotel itself merits on its own, but fair considering the beautiful location. The rooms were sufficiently clean. The mattresses were mediocre. The front desk was often vacant, but helpful when available. Breakfast was disappointing (fruit, cereal, and bagels were the only items that were of acceptable quality). Television was fine. I did not like the laminate floors – they look nice, but were cold on bare feet and more dangerous for little kids. The staff were all very friendly and conscientious. All told, it was a fine, relatively affordable place to stay, and that's all we were hoping for. It met but did not in any way exceed expectations.

The receptionist took my husband‘s AMEX card for payment and it was declined and so my husband called AMEX to find out why they declined payment and they told him it’s because Econolodge doesn’t take American Express.

The price was very reasonable and the room was clean except for the floors which we noticed walking on it with bare socks made the socks dirty. The heater fan was quite loud in room 119 and sounded the same even at lower settings. But in general, we like the location close to the lakes and state park and would stay there again.

Since I was here from out of town for a funeral, this served its purpose, which was a place to sleep. With the hotel near M-115, there is a lot of road noise. Hopefully it will quiet down later at night. The location is good for doing things in the area or as a base to go on day trips. The staff was very nice and pleasant to work with.

Really cute hotel in a great location, right across from the lake! The front desk staff were so friendly and welcoming, and everything was super clean. The only downside was the air conditioning, which was pretty loud. But overall, it was a lovely stay and I’d definitely come back!

The bed was comfortable but there was people's clothes in the hall and in the parking lot they refused to pick up stating they can't touch that stuff. The other guests, immigrants, were up at 6 am slamming doors, playing music and being loud in the hallway and the staff said there's nothing they could do. Those same individuals took all the continental breakfast so there was nothing for us or any other guests to eat. They were smoking weed and cigarettes in the rooms and in the hallway until around midnight and staff did nothing. When we checked out they billed someone else's account as my name wasn't the name on the receipt and then proceeded to tell us that the room we were in wasn't supposed to have been rented to us as there are problems with it and nobody was supposed to stay in that room. I will never ever stay here again. They didn't care about our issues at all. And since we got in so late, we didn't have a choice. It was take it or sleep in the car.

Our check-in was very late but the staff were nice and very understanding. The complimentary breakfast was very good with many choices which included a breakfast room. There is a very nice restaurant right next door!

Overall great. Little disappointed in their breakfeast. No waffles or pancakes or eggs or bacon/sasuage or yogurt. Everything else you would think of for a hotel breakfeast eas there. The lack of choice for breakfeast didnt not lower my rate 5/5 since everything else was great includeing cost of the stay

This is a fairly good budget hotel. The price is higher than the hotel itself merits on its own, but fair considering the beautiful location. The rooms were sufficiently clean. The mattresses were mediocre. The front desk was often vacant, but helpful when available. Breakfast was disappointing (fruit, cereal, and bagels were the only items that were of acceptable quality). Television was fine. I did not like the laminate floors – they look nice, but were cold on bare feet and more dangerous for little kids. The staff were all very friendly and conscientious. All told, it was a fine, relatively affordable place to stay, and that's all we were hoping for. It met but did not in any way exceed expectations.

Check in was quick and front desk lady was friendly. We were late to check in and called ahead they were nice over the phone about it too. The room was nice and clean, I liked the not carpet floors, felt more clean (personal choice) Beds were comfy, and the continental breakfast had plenty of choices. We brought our own small air purifier for white noise during the night and that blocked any noise that could had bother us during the night and that worked perfect! Overall we enjoyed our short stay and we’ll start again if needed. Price were very reasonable. We’re only there one night.

I liked that it was quiet, there wasn't any carpet in our room which I believe is a good thing but there was still that "hotel" smell that I can't quite figure out what it is from. Perhaps it was from the hallway old dirty carpet? Breakfast was definitely continental.........cold cereal and bagels. Nice place for a quick one over-nighter!

I stay here every time I’m in the area. It’s just what you want from a budget priced hotel: a no-frills, clean place to spend the night. They only have cold breakfast items, but that’s fine at this price point. The employees are always friendly too. Definitely recommend staying here!

So much noise in the hallway and the pot smell kept us the majority of the night. Morning staff just ignored our concerns. The breakfast was almost non-existent. I wouldn't return to this hotel.

It would have been ok if the price reflected what it was. I believe a fair price for this hotel would be under $100 total. For one thing Choices hotels cleaning solutions in my opinion smell bad. There were bugs caught in webs in a couple of the ceiling corners and the rug in front of the slider looked gross. We were on the back side so at least it was quiet.
