Be advised that your door is to the outside and there are no elevators. I missed that when booking and the receptionist states that a lot of people book unaware of these issues. It is a very convenient location, the room was clean with some updates and the breakfast bar was very good! It did the job for the one night quick stay.

It’s not an oasis. An old dog run motel layout, two floors, all outside entrances, no elevator. Soundproofing between rooms is nonexistent. Room was somewhat updated, but didn’t overcome the other flaws. Not recommended, other hotels in the area are much better.

It was advertised on the website that this hotel had an outdoor and indoor pool. There was NOT an indoor pool. So I had some disappointed kids after learning this. We would stay elsewhere if in Joplin again.

Dirty dirty dirty. Drove up and trash in parking lot and weeds in sidewalks and beds. Check-in was smooth with a great front desk employee. Room…where do I start. Some kind of nasty film on the ‘clean’ floor so would not go barefoot. Bedspread and top sheet had black stain (mascara?) with some kind of stain on a bath towel also. I will NEVER stay here again as I will pay an extra $30 for a clean place to sleep.

This hotel was not what I was expecting. The pool outside had leaves in it and looked like the water was green. The room was much smaller than the other Best Western that I stayed at and all the doors were outside. The room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Traveling home after a stay in Oklahoma. The room was damp upon arrival and the room just felt sticky. We were on the bottom floor and all we could hear was the people walking and jumping around upstairs. And we found a cockroach in the room in the morning. we will never stay at this best Western again. We have stayed at other ones that far exceeded what we thought.

Check-in was easy. Every staff member seemed genuinely kind, smiley and helpful. Entrance was clean and well lit. We had hoped by the appearance of the entrance our room would be great as well. We reserved a double suite. We were disappointed. We were boarded on the opposite side and very dark side of the property. We couldn't see our vehicle from our room. Upon entering, the room smelled of urine.The carpet was shredded between rooms. The counter was scratched and unattractive. The futon was covered in crumbs. Crossed to the next room and it smelled of cat pee.The faucet handle, though beautiful, would slowly fall and turn off while using. Also we couldn't turn the handle on fully because the water pressure shot the water out of the sink and all over the counter and yourself. Same with the shower head, sprayed the top of the curtain. Beds were clean and pillows were firm and comfortable. The beds are on metal frames so what we thought were the neighbors smashing and kicking things around turned out to be the bedframes knocking every time you climb in and out and move around. That was a tad bothersome. Rooms were a bit on the dark side, lighting is not greatly spaced. Toiletry samplers were great. The breakfast was on the better end. hot coffee and tasty orange and apple juice. Had hot food (mini egg and cheese omelette, biscuit, sausage, seasoned potatoes), cold/hot cereal added topping options (brown sugar, berries, honey) and toast/bagels.Excellent choices for children.

This is an old hotel with only exterior access to your room. Rooms are clean however breakfast is only served for two hours on weekends. The cleaning staff starts running carts up the sidewalk early. So sleeping in is NOT an option. Like they say you get what you pay for. Which in this case is not much. The “king suite” is a joke. King bed on a metal frame that sounds like a tin can every time you move. Over all not a horrible experience just not as advertised online. If you were looking for just a place to sleep and a hot shower this one’s for you.

The hotel has been updated, but no attention was paid to detail. Paint splattered on outlets and the floor. The carpet felt damp all the time. There was so much humidity in the room, despite the A/C working well. The entry door had missing/chipped paint. The little rugs in front of each entry door are in sad condition. The beds were a little on the hard side, but not the worst I have ever slept on.

Not much room to hang towels. Had a suite (two adjoining rooms converted to a living area and sleeping quarters) where the fan in the bedroom HVAC could not be turned off, regardless of temperature.

Check in was a joke. The girl at the check in counter seemed stoned, totally spaced out! No heat in one room, so gave us another room and no heat in that room either. We told her about the issue again and she didn’t even offer another room or blankets. We had to ask for blankets and she provided them reluctantly. Toilets are not secure. Rooms are old and damp. We’ll never stay in another Best Western again!

Mediocre at best. If you’re looking for a pool, do not believe the pictures. It’s half empty and very dark looking. A room carpet was stained with some sort of red coloring. Parking lot sketchy for sure and plenty of broken glass and trash, laying around in it. Parking lot felt a little unsafe after dark.

Overall the stay was great. We quickly got checked in, were given the instructions to get to our room and told where to park. The room was clean, but smelled like someone just lit up in there. Breakfast was great. Person in charge of breakfast was very helpful. The water pressure in the bathroom sink was way too strong. The entire sink was soaked after use.

Beds were clean and comfortable, bathroom was clean but somewhat old and basic, breakfast area was so small and with very reduced offer. At breakfast time the demand was very high that we did not find a place. We had to eat elsewhere.
