Very clean place and loved the indoor pool and hot tub.

Nice pizza and taproom connected to the hotel. This is a large property. Rooms are quiet, comfy. Lots of great spaces, like an indoor/outdoor pool, larger courtyard with grills, fitness room. The breakfast was really good. Nice hot options. Beds were comfy. Room was very spacious. But more than anything, the front desk manager went above and beyond to assist us with a billing issue. It was an excellent stay.

The stay was decent but the pool and hot tub did not get cleaned and was absolutely disgusting.

Great location, many restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Breakfast was wonderful, with many options. Large indoor pool! Great stay!

The property was a great location and breakfast was great too. People were very nice. On the other hand - neither hot tub was working, one was out of order, and the other was malfunctioning. The room keys had to be re-keyed several times a day as they stopped working within a couple hours, which was really the biggest issue/inconvenience we had.

The pool area was very nice, had the option of both indoor and outdoor pool along with hot pools

Three kids and one adult stayed in one room for three nights. The hotel was very nice, clean, staff was polite. Breakfast is a full course - sausage, eggs, hashbrowns, two waffle makers, tortillas. It was definitely a hearty breakfast. They have two pools, one indoor and one outdoor. The water outdoor was warmer than the water indoor. They had two good size hot tubs. A fitness center. The only thing was the beds were standard size and since we co-sleep we like a little bit bigger, but they were very comfy. Nice large parking area for trailers or large trucks. We’d definitely stay here again.

Rooms were clean, air conditioning worked great! This place had a pizza restaurant attached to it with a bar which was nice! Pools were warm and felt great! Hot tubs also! Staff very friendly! Awesome stay!

Staff was amazing, super friendly. Facilities were exceptionally clean. Indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs well maintained. The breakfast was delicious!

We loved the out door pool and the surrounding patio area. It was very clean and super comfortable patio furniture.

I've stayed here before, and recognize that it is a lower-cost option. But the vinyl floor in my room was sticky. The 'auto' fan option on my HVAC did not work, so a fan that sounded like a locomotive ran all night. The place is filled with dogs - barking at 6am in the hall, in the dining area, so if that is your thing you'll be happy. I'm concerned that the sticky floor was related to the dogs.

Nice hotel very clean

We had a dirty q-tip on top of the fridge (that only worked intermittently) and a used straw beneath the desk. After the requested cleaning of the room, the q-tip remained. The internet didn’t work, nor did the ice machine on 2 of the 3 floors. When I inquired, I was told typically only rooms on the first floor have issues with the internet and that there were probably just too many people on it. (It’s a hotel.) While decently friendly, the front desk staff couldn’t do anything to help without calling the manager, who never answered. Overall, the cost of this room was in no way reasonable for the experience. Even half the cost would’ve felt like a rip-off. Cleanliness and functionality should be minimal expectations.

The new renovations are very nice. My only complaint is it is evident the new vinyl floors are not mopped between stays, only vacuumed. We had to wash our feet multiple times without having left the room because they get black so quickly from the floor. They do not look dirty, so that is a plus, but they are if we had to continuously wash our feet.

My stay at the LaQuinta in Joplin was wonderful. Starting with the young lady who checked me in. So professional and nice. Then the room was spacious and CLEAN!!! The shower was hot and CLEAN. The breakfast in the morning was hot fresh and very very good. I am beyond impressed with the quality of the service and overall experience at the hotel.

This facility is showing its age. Also in morning, both the coffee machine and juice machines were OUT OF ORDER (unforgivable - good thing there is a Starbucks next door). No trash receptacles at toast and bagel area and no knives to spread butter - had to go to a different area to find a knife. Suspected bed bug infestation as well based on observing some sort of remediation cleaning in a room down our hall and finding a suspicious looking bug carcass in one of our beds. Would not stay here again.

Staff was very friendly. Rooms and common areas were very clean.

Our room was noisy from tapping on the walls next to us all night, we were hot and miserable all night. Immediately started having allergies within minutes of arriving. My husband discovered the next morning while sitting in the esge of the bed, the entire side of the refrigerator and the plywood it was sitting on were covered in black mold. Checked out Immediately and in showing the front desk pictures, I received...oh wow. Sorry...I'll let maintenance know to clean that up.

Big lobby for this class of hotel. Breakfast was nice with taco eggs along with regular scrambled eggs. Coffee was better tasting than other hotels in same class. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance including Broadway pizza restaurant onsite. 2 negatives: Bed could have been better and bathroom lacked counter space.

Space out the rooms, don’t book people in rooms right next to each other, if at all possible. It can be done. Walls paper thin.

Water pressure nonexistent

Lots of things to like here.. but in the end it is about getting a good night's sleep. Stayed here twice, and both times slept poorly because of a soft, worn-out, lumpy, mattress

Everything was great bonky thing is our room was right next to the stairs. So we wpuld hear people throughout the night. Other than that everything was great!

We were able to check in online prior to our arrival so all we had to do was stop by the front desk and grab our keys—very quick and efficient! Our room was really comfortable and spacious. It had everything we needed.

Everything pretty good except bed was to hard

Staff was friendly. Hotel was clean. Stayed in a two-room suite, which was spacious, but lacked furnishings. Three beds but no seating except for a wobbly task chair at the small desk. Hotel was very noisy to the point it was difficult to rest.

The Wi-Fi server is out of date so I couldn't connect; the hotel is laid out in a strangely linear fashion, so it is a long walk to the elevator; the beds were clean and comfortable, but the rooms were noisy

la Quinta had no record my booking when I arrived. I had my confirmation number and receipt of payment with me and still they told me I had to work it out with the third party booking agency. Only when I pushed back hard did they make sure I got my room. Unbelievably bad hospitality. My room was already booked and paid for and I had receipts. They need to sort their business out.

We stay in this property whenever we go west for the winter. Awesome staff. I left my good sweater in Jan and called them. They saved it till I came back through. Lots of bus traffic today. The breakfast staff sis an awesome job keeping everyone plenty to eat and helping the lines move. That is proper management. Will continue to use this lodging

The stay what very short from enjoyable, 15 min into check in I had the general manager calling my room and in the rudest way telling me I could not have anyone visit me in my room if they were not a paying guest!!! “Like what “ then she proceeds to tell me if I don’t get them out I would also be kicked out for not complying.. again 15 min into my stay!!!! My friends were coming into swim with me and my kids and we were told that only guest could swim which we understood, but not being able to have them visit with me in my room?? Either way to not cause any trouble my friends left and encountered the GM in the hall on her way to my room! As one friend waited for the other that came back in because she forgot her phone my friend was told by the gm that if she didn’t leave now she would put trespassing charges on her!! As she was leaving already anyways !! They kept saying policy this policy that and the very next day a whole birthday party was going on in the outside pool ?? Doubt everyone there was a guest of the hotel!!! That made it very clear that she made the issue personal otherwise how do you explain having a problem with a paying guest les than 30 min into check in? I also moved the bed against the wall so my baby would not fall and it was so sticky and dirty under the bed even after room service was in !!! I attached image bellow, Very dirty and nasty… Our stay was very unpleasant and we will NEVER BE STAYING AT THIS LOCATION AGAIN !!

They were busy and they let a man cut in front of me because he needed a towel and one check in girl Was on the phone and the other one started helping me and then answered the phone and told me go down that hall and you will find the elevator. I just felt like I was being brushed off and after being in a car for 12 hours I was exhaust and wanted to just get in my room.

We did not have breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful at this location. We needed a room on the main floor because my husband had hurt his knee the day before our arrival and they were able to switch rooms for us at check-in. We originally had been staying at the Drury Inn when we came down to visit family. Last year we decided to try LaQuinta and we liked it more and now it’s the only hotel we stay at in Joplin. Thank you!

A large property with a lot guests coming and going. Nice pub/restaurant right off the lobby. Starbucks next door.

It was easy to find and close to our travel route.

Great location. Quiet.

Close to the highway, clean, cool, lots of resturants, a pizza place and bar attached, decent breakfast buffett. All in all a little expensive in comparison.

As a woman staying alone, I felt safe

It is easy to find and there are businesses and restaurants whith in walking distance.

Great service, clean room and amazing breakfast

Very nice hotel but the breakfast was out of food and coffee and we did not have time to wait.

Our night here was great. Check in was easy, and our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a step above the others in this price range. An added bonus was the attached Old Chicago restaurant with a good menu of food and beer choices.

This La Quinta is the one we always try to stay at. It’s clean, staff is great and courteous, and the breakfast is great. We love the restaurant that’s attached. Great Bar and food!

Pool area was nice and so was the outdoor area, private and large. Breakfast was not great, would not recommend. Staff was great and welcoming. There was an odor of dampness on the 1st floor in the hallway and our room. Beds are very firm but rooms were stocked well with towels and overall clean.

Best breakfast ever I’ve stayed a lot of places they go above and beyond very surprising
