The hallways smelled of marijuana and bleach. The rooms and building need updated, there were stains on the bedding, red splatter on the walls, mold in the shower and the the balconies on the upper floors are rotting away.

The property was in major disrepair. Broken windows, balconies literally falling off, filthy furniture with missing and broken drawers. Our first room door would not lock due to the settling of the building. The lock would not even fit into the hole due to the door being not level. The smelled like rot. There were several cars in their parking lot with flat tires like they were being stored on the property. We didn’t eat breakfast there either day as the filthy conditions gave us no confidence that the food would be prepared in a clean and sanitary manner.

The property was filthy and unsafe! Anyone could walk in because excess doors were all broken! The pool which is one of the reason we wanted to stay there never opened! The gentleman at the front desk it would open in a little bit. Three hours later, the pool still wasn’t open. My son went to check on Wyatt. It hadn’t opened yet and he said oh it’s not gonna open today. Needless to say, my son was very angry and we asked for our money back and we left our room and returned the keys to the front desk. The smell of marijuana was overbearing, and the entire property was in shambles.

we love to have the pool; we check in; the pool is closed so we booked two days to be able to swim. the carpeted floors were horribly dirty and stained. common areas and rooms. became aware that people are living in this place. so supplies and food were limited. the pillows were horribly flat so we ask for extra and never received. the smoke alarm had been removed and the sprinklet system had a plastic bag tied around it. the air conditioner in the corner of the room worked very hard to cool the room. i travel with my 4 year old grandson and i had to continuously remind him to stay up off the floors. the pool and area was the cleanest of anything we saw here

The floors leading to the rooms were BLACK. Looked like they hadn't been cleaned in 20 years. The carpet in the room was better, but not completely clean. Beds weren't very comfortable. My friend stayed in the room next to us and there was a hole in one of the comforters. They advertise free breakfast, but it's just juice, coffee, waffles. That's It! It took FOREVER for our room to get cool enough and I had to go buy some cleaning supplies to wipe things down and had to get febreeze to get the awful musty smell gone which took an entire night for it to work. The pool was decent, but closes at 8. That's pretty early compared to most places that are 10 or 11. There were some homeless people hanging out in front of the property. I never felt unsafe, but it was one of the worst places I've ever stayed. Think twice before booking here!

The pool was decent. The elevator was a hazard, broken but not marked as out of order. The elevator also smelled very bad. I described it as drunkenness and regret. The room was ok, but trash was left behind and near the beds. A used toothbrush was left sitting on top of the bathroom mirror frame. The exterior of the whole place needs a good cleaning and a lot of paint. Oh and the hallways were very poorly lit. Creating a safety fear.

The only thing that made me not like my stay was that the elevator was broke down the entire time I was there and I booked 2 rooms and they were so far apart i did not like it. I mean booking two rooms usually means you want your rooms to be close together and not be one on the second floor and the one on the lowest level they have.

Absolutely needs to be overhauled. Carpets throughout were nasty. Carpet in room was ripped and stained. There were stains in my sheets, towels were dirty with stains. Taking a shower the tub would fill up. Woke up the following morning to cockroaches in the bathroom.

I am so ashamed that this hotel is open in Saint Louis! I flew a 15 hour flight from Kuwait. I stopped at this hotel to meet my family because I was preparing for a connecting flight to Mexico, i couldn’t properly rest after choosing such a smelly, never cleaned, and unbelievably dirty place. The balcony windows were filthy, the carpeted in the corridors & rooms were dirty, and there was hair in the uncleaned showers and bed!!! I was so afraid of possible bed-bugs.

This was the worst motel I've ever stayed in. It smelled horrible, the drapes were hanging off of the rods, there was an awful stain on the carpet between the beds, the carpet in general was so filthy that we were nervous to walk without shoes, the tub didn't drain properly, the bathroom door wouldn't open all the way, the wallpaper was peeling off of the walls, and all in all just a dismal, dirty room. It shouldn't ever be rented out. Beware!!!!!

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Not only run down but extremely filthy. I stayed 1 night Memorial Day weekend and checked in late around 11pm. Walking to my room the entire hallway was dirty and had an overwhelming smell of pot. My room was filthy. Dirty stained floors and bedding. Hole in the wall, torn wall paper, and furniture. Sink, toilet, and tub filthy and mildewed. Something brown running down the wall by the sink. I called down to the desk immediately to ask for another room. I was told none were available. No other hotel options either due to it being late and Memorial Day weekend. Only other option was sleeping in my car which would have been better. I pulled all the blankets off the bed and just slept on top of the sheet, no covers. I contacted the hotel next day and asked for a refund. I was told since I stayed, they could not issue a refund and to contact Hotels.com if I had any further concerns. I will. This place is not acceptable for people to get duped into staying at.

The hotel is Frozen in Time like a very old dusty museum. Walking to my room, I noticed the entire building smelled like old chicken grease and everything looks dirty. When I got to my room, it continued the theme. The carpet was rippled and loose, as well as covered in tons of black spots and wet looking spots. The curtains were half broken and filthy. The couch in the room had two mismatching cushions that neither of which belong to the actual couch. Everything was weirdly sticky. The mirrors that were the closet doors as well as the mirror over the sink and clearly not been cleaned in a very long time, and had hand prints and streaks all over it. In addition, the entire room wreaked of mildew / mold. Not only did I cancel my reservation with the front desk, I will never stay at this hotel, and would not recommend it even for someone I did not like. I would have rather slept in my car then have to spend a single hour in that room.

The hallways were disgusting with bad stains on carpet and food littering the entire hallway - like a food fight had occured. The room itself was awful. Holes in the walls. Dirt on mattresses. Bug pieces on mattresses. When i moved the pillows, it looked like bugs under the pillows -- but nothing alive. The smell was overwhelming. I couldnt use the pillows bc they smelled so bad. Furniture was broken. If we hadn't arrived at 2am, I wouldn't have stayed. It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The room being so bad made us not want to eat the breakfast. We slept maybe 3 hours and got out as quick as we could.

When we first got there all the lights were pretty much off in the building. Go to front desk guy was super nice gave us a room key, go to our room walk to the room is dirty as all get out. Get to our door, someone had previously tried breaking into the door it was very obvious with a huge crack in it. Open the room smells like weed and musty cigs. Bed is dirty with blood on the sheets. Go up and ask for a different room. Gave us a different room, it was also disgusting furniture was gross and all stained up bathroom wall and shower had drywall peeling off the wall. It was an overall terrible experience especially with a 9 month old baby. Very sketchy place. Guy at front desk gave us no issue with saying we wanted a refund and went to get a room elsewhere. Terrible experience. Would not recommend that place to even be open anymore.

Upon walking into the foyer before the lobby, i was greeted with the strong scent of marijuana. The halls smelled like it as well. The room I got, the door didn’t completely seal for, so i could see light through it to the hall. The curtains wouldn’t completely close unfortunately. And the real kicker is that the bathroom smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. By the time I had left my asthma was getting progressively worse. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, especially if you’re sensitive to smoke. Pay the extra money and stay somewhere nicer.

We just didn’t feel that safe staying there, there was no safe even though it said there would be one, and it didn’t feel very clean. Musty smell all throughout the building. Dirty. Outdated. Our neighbor had us come look at his room that he was switching out of because the bed had these huge stains on it and was infested with roaches. We didnt see roaches and we stayed 2 days. Breakfast was limited and stale. You have to have someone come up with a "master remote" to get your tv to work. Air conditioner didnt run very cold. Only 1 small trashcan for the whole place. Beds werent uncomfortable and the staff was friendly. The outdoor area by the pool has picnic tables, a gazebo and a place to grill.

Air conditioner did not work in the room, the bathtub wasnt clean, and the toilet was dirty. Temperature was on the mid to high 80s all night. We had a fan which helped keep air flow.... The night of checkin the manager said he would fix it the next day. He never showed up. We checked out 2 days early, that next morning. They double charged my card for the full stay. Took 10 days to get a partial payment back. Will never stay here again. Guests were cordial. Staff was polite.

DON'T STAY HERE! Me and my mother stayed there one night. My mother has several health issues, including breathing troubles. I walked into check in. The women at the desk (I'll call her Ms. K) looked up at me and said "it will be a few minutes. I'm trying to turn rooms" said in a rude, condescending tone. No "Hello, Welcome to Days Inn at Wyndham! How can I help you? Or are you checking in?" I say "okay". I stand and wait Two or three minutes maybe go by She looks up at me and says "have a seat, it will be a few minutes" waving a dismissive hand at me. Another maybe 10 minutes go by I get checked in by another employee (she was very nice and helpful) After getting bags and walking way too far for my mom to the elevator. The room looked like it came from the 60s ( not what the pictures showed online) and was left there to deteriorate. The shower had mold which I didn't really look at that hard when we got to our room. We were very tired and wanted to rest. That is a huge health hazard!! I see this in the morning. I also start seeing other areas like the title that were not clean. The toilet was not clean. It was disgusting!! I went down to the lobby and I asked Ms. K "is the manager available to talk to please?" Ms. K. Huh? Me: repeated but louder and there was no doubt that I was angry. I told her my room was disgusting and it had mold!! Ms. K's response: did you say anything last night? Explained why. I didn't hear her response...walked away!!

The staff were very nice and helpful. Building was run down, carpets veey dirty, chair in room was stained. But the beds, linens, etc were clean and comfortable. One major issue on pur second night though. We were asleep when we heard the door open! They had rented our room to another couple! That couple left and went back to the front desk. A bit later, a staff member came, woke us up again, and i had to show my receipt to prove it was my room. Very unsettling and i was so worried someone else would tey to enter, i couldnt sleep. The morning desk staff wad very apologetic and said my stay was marked as a no show in her system. I showed my receipt to her and she is going to connect withe the property owner. Im hoping for some sort of discount..credit back for the night, or something.

Hallway carpets sticky and filthy. Room carpets filthy. Pillows were stained under the pillowcase like they'd not been changed or washed for years. Chairs in the room had grease marks, stains and were gross. Shower curtain and showerhead were stained with soap scum. Absolutely revolting. The hairdryer filter was clogged. We did not stay. They refunded straight away in fairness and the young receptionist was really helpful and polite.

The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff were rude and only did minimal cleaning of my room. There were plenty of restaurants and stores in the facinity of the motel. I was easily able to reserve an additional night's room. It was very quiet,with the exception of slamming doors. The doors just didn't have rods to slow down the speed of closing.

Hair in bathtub, sheets stained ,toilet didn’t flush well and leaked from the seal on the floor, the aftermarket TV remote didn’t work many of the functions and made watching it challenging. We got there late, were told that we should drive around back. Our keycard didn’t work on the outside door that was nearest our room number. We went back and were told to try the other door back there, since it’s not locked. Breakfast had few options. You can make a waffle, have a granola bar and a yogurt. Our key card didn’t work the second day. We had to go fix it. Don’t get in the elevators. They reeked of who knows what. Sheets had cigarettes holes in them. This property is way past its prime, but is really cheap if you are just looking for a place to rest your head.

First the good. This hotel is a workingman's hotel, not a family hotel. The room was clean, the shower had hot water, the bed was simi comfortable and the TV worked. Bad the carpet was separated at the seam near the vanity; the carpet was bunched up throughout, both crating a trip hazard. Drywall coating was missing throughout; the toilet seat was original to construction and broke and worn down to the wood, so you needed to be careful. Breakfast was some stale bread, waffle maker, yogurt, dry cereal. Coffee tasted like left over grounds had been used, the juice machine was empty. Had to clean off my table before setting down just me and one other person on the breakfast area. I have stayed at other Wyndam in the past and not sure how this place got their endorsement.

The room waa horrible. Holes in carpet. Broken tv armoir in corner with no use. Cig butts everywhere outside. Contental breakfast non existent had juice and coffee. No cereals milk eggs. Had stale bagels and a cereal bar. Mind youwe went down at 830am. We stayed at this hotel a few years ago and it was relatively new and very clean . The garden area looks like it hasnt been maintained in years. I will not be staying at a wyndam days inn ever again
