Everything was great except the delay of the elevators. I believe half of them were working and the hotel was very busy. After checkin I waited at least 15 minutes for an elevator to get to my room.

Came here for Galaxycon. Great location with the Arch just across the street. Parking was hit and miss though. For some reason you have to tell someone when you check in that you want to self-park otherwise using your room key to leave and come back doesn't work. Plus their parking garage can fill up easily so you'll have to use one a few intersections over which is annoying. I picked this hotel cause it had its own dedicated parking garage and wouldn't have to deal with using a public one.

Awesome location! Arch view, 8th floor. We used the valet and it was great. Recommend Ruth Chris for all dining as the sports bar was subpar in our view. Room was very spacious and very nice to have a private bathroom area. Could use additional towel racks, maybe in the hallway. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

I didn’t like the fact that it was valet parking for $50 a day and I stayed for two days and also I didn’t like the fact that the hotel didn’t have a pool should have an indoor or outdoor pool for the amount of money that was spent. I did get a $30 parking ticket and I was going to my cousin wedding and I didn’t know what was the parking requirement and I explained to him that I was from out of town.

The facility is in great shape and rooms were nice but the support staff was abysmal. Front desk people seemed to care less except for the one we had at check out, I think his name was Washington Parking was a big hassle. Every time we would leave and come back it wouldn’t allow entry with our room card. They just kept saying we did something to mess up our card, but there was nothing wrong with them. The worked just fine in the elevator and our room. There was a huge traffic jam caused by valet parking and check in on Friday. There were multiple solutions to keep it from happening but the staff didn’t seem to know what to do. I’d say management dropped the ball on that in a huge way.

AVOID THIS PLACE FOR BASEBALL GAMES!!! the traffic was UNBELIEVABLE. We did not move, stuck in place for over 45 minutes because valet could not keep up with check-ins for a ball game. There were well over 250 cars trapped on the City Street trying to get into the tiny valet drop off for this hotel. Nobody was directing traffic, there were no signs that valet was backed up by 1 hour, we were just trapped in 4 lanes of traffic all trying to turn into the same small circle drive. I called the hotel and they said to try and get out of the gridlock and find someplace else to park in downtown St louis and walk to the hotel. That's what we finally did, once we convinced about 50 other drivers who had us blocked in to allow us out gridlock. There really is no way to fix this. JUST DON'T STAY HERE FOR A BALL GAME. It was a beautiful hotel. Service was great. I'll never go back if there's any events planned for downtown on the check-in day.

No pool, place is super loud with interstate traffic and people reving cars at 2-3am. Hard to get good night sleep because of all the noise. No free breakfast, parking very expensive and very low height parking garage.

We have always stayed here when visiting St Louis. But the property is in desperate need of updates!!!! Hallways smelled, room smelled, elevators not working on one side , which made long waits. We will look else where next time. Only upside was very close to the Arch, and short walk to the ballpark.

Great view of the arch, great location and interactions with staff were all positive, room cleanliness good with the exception of some surfaces that clearly had not been wiped down (drink rings on nightstands, etc…), beds are hard and given 4 1/2 pillows for king sized bed

The rooms are nice and spacious but mine was not cleaned properly had dirty countertops and used wash cloths still in the bathroom alone with crumbs on the bed no one ever showed up after i called and went to the front desk to speak with manager about my valet service they parked my car two blocks away assuming we were through with the car for the night that struck a nerve so they down graded me to self parking which was fine. The restaurant inside of the hotel had great service and good food

The service was amazing. However, hallways were unclean, with anything from leftover room service to trash, bottle lids, things of that nature left within walkways. Though my room was amazing the countertops had not been cleaned off and remnants of the previous guest were still left on the counters.

We were very please with the hotel its self. We were very shocked to find a not so clean room to match the hotel its self. The beds had flat sheets as fitted sheets so any time you flipped the sheet came from under you. The mattress protector appeared to be reused every stay rather then changed out which grossed us out but hotel living can’t do much about it at the time. The bathroom was dirty. Exhaust fan was caked in dust. The drain in the tub was covered in rust. The sink looks like it hadn’t been wiped down fully. There was sticky at the end of the first bed that we stepped in several times (until putting a towel over). The pillows were old and unkept. We loved the partial view of the arch from the room even if the windows were filthy. Fitness room was by far the nicest we have been in recently. Having no choice but valet on the weekend was disappointing so we paid (much cheaper) to park around the corner from the hotel.

Overall, I enjoyed this stay. The staff was friendly, the elevators were fast and we really loved the options for the restaurant within the hotel. I do feel k need to say a few things, though. I know STL is in a heatwave but our room never got down below 71 which is really hot especially when trying to sleep comfortably. Our pillows smelled really badly of mildew when laying our heads down, almost like a plume of a fart. I’m not sure if it’s because they wash the feather pillows and don’t dry them all the way or what. The last thing was that there was a ceiling tile missing above the toilet in our room where there was exposed wires and all sorts of electrical work which is insane and a huge safety violation, I’m sure. I did let the front desk know about all these issues.

The hotel is extremely outdated. The room wasnt clean, it didnt even look like they had vacuumed. The curtains were disgusting and had brown stuff all over them. The walls were dirty. You just felt so gross being in the room.. i decided to take a shower after a hot day and there was almost no water pressure. The shower curtain didnt do anything to keep the bathroom floor from getting soaked and then when i got out somebody has written something on the mirror so even the mirror wasnt cleaned. Ive stayed in cheap motels that are better and more clean then this place. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Our room was amazing, quite spacious, had 2 sinks, a dressing area, 2 restaurants downstairs and a spectacular view of The Gateway Arch N.P. and the Mississippi River!! When you walk outside of the hotel, you’ll be about 50 feet away from the arch park entrance! We will most definitely be staying here for a next visit!!

Overall the stay was good, the room was clean, and the location was great! The air conditioner was malfunctioning and needed to contact maintenance daily. They were very quick to respond to our needs as the room hit 78 degrees on all of the 90+ days we stayed. A little frustrated that I watched the valet driver pull another vehicle, the same make/model as ours in to the parking garage at a speed higher than it should have been. We witnessed them hitting the roof of the vehicle on the clearance bar. I thought, I sure hope that did not happen to mine! Well, I wish I would have remembered to check before we left. Once we arrived home, I did check and sure enough...yellow paint from the clearance bar is on my roof rack! Not pleased about that.

There were SO many people checking in and out during our stay due to a ballgame. The hotel staff was trying hard to make it a smooth experience for everyone. Even though there a line extending to the front door the check in went faily quickly. I noticed the hotel manager offering alternatives for the elevators after the game. The valet parking attendants were very friendly despite the utter chaos and amount of people we saw in our overnight stay. The room itself was very comfortable. I was sure I had booked a room with a veiw of the arch, which we did not get. However, considering the amount of people there and the fact I used a third party to book our stay I figured we would settle for the room we were given. Overall it was a great stay amd we would not hesitate to book another stay here again if/when we return to St. Louis.

I checked in to be told that they did not have a king room (which I had booked weeks prior) and I was offered 2 double beds for my husband and I. After asking to speak to the manager and a long wait we did receive what we paid for which was a preium rate as we were there for a game. Gift shop worker was on her phone and didnt even acknowledge anyone in there the 2 different occasions we went in.

Charged me the wrong amount TWICE. I had to call 10 times to reach someone (kept hanging up during transfer) who kept me on the phone for a long time, never really acknowledged they could see the error on their end and eventually said their manager would remove the double charge. Still there. I asked for email receipt of the reversal, still haven’t received anything. They didn’t seem to have any solution for double charging me, I expect I will have to make numerous calls on Monday to find someone to fix it.

The hotel is located right beside the Arch park. Peaceful area to walk. There is nothing else close to the hotel, and prices at The Brewhouse and Ruth’s Chris inside the hotel are expensive. Sadly, the downtown area is “dead” for a large city! It’s a taxi or Uber ride to get anywhere, unless you like long walks. (Some homeless people not far from the hotel, on the way to the convention center.) The king size room we had was nice except for the bathroom. I think they converted a coat closet in to the bathroom, it was so small! No lighting in the shower; the glass door opens out, so the bathroom door has to be closed to get in or out of the shower; the shower floor is a bit slick, and there are no safety bars to hold on to. There is a long counter across from the shower, but only one sink. And the toilet is crammed in the space in between! No room to even turn around! Two people cannot use this bathroom! The bar that everyone was raving about is closed for remodeling. That’s fine, if it needed it, but that should be noted on their website and third party websites. Our floor was like a sauna when we went to our room, but thankfully that was rectified after we and many others told guest services about it. If you want a comfortable place to sleep, this will work, but not much else.

Wonderful hotel steps away from the Gateway Arch! The staff were super helpful and the views were incredible even if you don’t have one of the many many rooms with a view of the arch. Good signage, parking options, and facilities.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us. We were going to see the Yankees play the Cardinals and wanted to see the Gateway Arch. The check in process was super quick & easy. We ate at the Brewhouse Historical Sports Bar and the food was good. There is also a Starbucks in the hotel which was perfect for the morning. Very walkable area and we took an uber to anything further away.

We enjoyed our stay. Clean, Ease in parking and check in/out. Gateway Arch Park and Busch Stadium are very close to the hotel. Many food option around the area. One thing I was hoping but probably did not check if there is an option for complimentary breakfast

The Hotel had everything I wanted, and needed! I left my toothbrush at home, and I called the front desk to see if they had any extras and they hand delivered one with toothpaste to my room. The hotel was huge with several eateries, and a gift shop. Valet service was very helpful, and gave us tips on where to site see. The room was very clean, and huge. Will definitely stay here again.

Dining options were not great in our opinion. Worst chicken wings ive had maybe ever. But the hotel and staff were excellent, room was awesome. We didnt eat at ruth chris, im sure its great but was too expensive this time around lol.

The location was perfect for what we were looking for. It was within walking distance of several things to do, including the arch. The hotel itself was quiet and offered options where you could eat at as well as Starbucks inside the hotel, which was a perfect substitute to a $25 breakfast.

Overall the property was adequate. It was very close to the St. Louis Arch and a short walk to Busch Stadium. The main issues for the less than stellar rating was the bed linens. There were only a sheet an an extremely thin blanket, no comforter, which made uncomfortable staying warm at night. Also had breakfast there, we ordered off the menu rather than have the breakfast buffet. The Avocado Toast left a lot to be desired as it didn’t have avocado slices on it but a very lacking guacamole spread. My breakfast was also marginal as the scrambled eggs were bland and runny, the bacon was way overcooked and the potatoes were a couple small boiled whole potatoes that had just been smashed and very lightly fried on each side. Very disappointing. Definitely would not eat there again.
