All ice machines were broke besides the 3rd floor ice machine, there were no ice buckets in the rooms and i got a suite, The floor in the dinning area every morning was terribly sticky, and you couldn't buy anything from the kiosk in the market because that didn't work, and the elevators are terribly slow on top of (and im not an expert here) being unsafe. At one point the big elevator almost quit working on me. On the upside the staff had wonderful attitudes, were very polite, and were more than happy to at least attempt to help with anything they possibly could. Also my room was very clean.

Overall it was a good stay - room was clean, staff was very friendly. Quick and easy check in and check out. One of the main reasons we picked this hotel was because it had a hot tub and pool. Both of these ameneities were a huge disappointment. The hot tub was clean, but not hot. The pool was extremely cold - too cold to enjoy and actually swim in. We actually went into the pool and back into the hot tub with the hopes that the hot tub would actually feel hot. Because of the temperature of the pool all of the kids that were at the hotel went to the hot tub, which i dont blame them for, however, typically adults sit in the hot tub to relax, and that wasnt the case. Breakfast was very good, only wish they had a potatoe as a side offered.

Super clean and quiet hotel. I had no issues with mom getting checked in since she was visiting from out of state. She loved it besides the pool being cold but it was half outside and half inside still 5 stars tho!

The absolute worst experience. No hot water our entire stay. Tuesday-Friday. The front desk kept saying it’s being worked on. Or they just finished give it 15 minutes. And it was a lie. I requested our room to be cleaned. And all they did was bring two new towels and left them on our tv stand. I took out my own trash. The ac wasn’t working in our room either. It wouldn’t go under 72. It was extremely loud all night too. I spoke to other guests and everyone had shared complaints. The only friendly person was Katelyn. The other employees were rude or simply lacked hospitality.

Found a hitter in the pull out bed. The power went out. There was no towels no shampoo. No towels by the pool. When asked we were told they didn’t wash any of the towels so there was none

The elevators had signs on them that said “do not use” during the first night of our stay. We were on the 4th floor and I had a hurt hip and knee and we had to take the stairs back up to our room.

Got there and was trash left in room. Mascara on pillow case. Had to go to front desk to get trash bag and new pillow case. Exhaust fan in bathroom didn’t work. Rust on outside of tub. Pool was cloudy. Two big trash bags were left in hallway overnight. Smells like weed. Need to vacuum common areas and dump trash. Clean glass.

The carpet floor was so dirty. It had cat hair everywhere. On everything. The refrigerator was full of moldy food. It stunk terrible. In the bathroom there was a used disposable razor & nasty toiletpaper. The breakfast person was very nice and the man behind counter very nice. We had our 5 yr old granddaughter with us.

This hotel was not clean. The elevator was dirty, the floor in the breakfast area sticky, the pool was unusable due to the murky water that clearly hadn't been treated in ages. The carpet in our room had pet hair and trash on it. The toiletries hadn't been refilled in ages and we were left with only a partial roll of toilet paper. We complained multiple times and after no action being taken decided to check out early.

When we first arrived, we were sent to a room that wasn't cleaned. We were then given another room which was better but no wash cloths at all. The receptionist did a great job & the breakfast was amazing but the housekeeping was horrible.

Our family booked 3 rooms and all of them needed cleaned. We had lots of hair in the bathtub, bathroom floor, and what should have been clean bedding. We had someone else’s leftover food in our fridge, and the microwave was dirty inside. The kids wanted to swim and the pool and hot tub had lots of floating hair and cloudy water. Trash and overflowing with garbage. The only thing good was the fella that checked us in our room was very nice. Don’t rely on the free breakfast for a meal because it started at 0700, by 0830 they had hardly any food left and the area was a mess. No one wiping up messes, cleaning tables, or refilling food until it was over at 1000. Otherwise, I would never stay here again. Overall, the property needs lots of renovating and deep cleaned to say the least. Glad we were only there for one night.

We stayed in this hotel all of 2 minutes after walking past the broken door where anyone from the outside can enter and the disgusting, and I mean disgusting dirty room! Stains everywhere and BLOOD in the bathroom. And get this THEY CHARGED US for the room!!! Expedia did not help! Do NOT stay here! Avoid at all costs!

Area surrounding property was not kept up (overgrown weeds everywhere). Water dispenser at hallway broken on first floor and the carpet below it is gross. No ice machine on 2nd floor. TV channels are labeled wrong within the channel itself and the channel guide is wrong so doesn't help. TV screen would indicate one TV network for example TNT but it is actually a different channel so need to flip thru every channel and see what's showing to find the channel you want (if it's a commercial, you'll have to wait). Staff and management does not care either because if they do, they would have an employee go thru every TV channel to see what channel it is and document it for the hotel guests.

The staff was great, but the hotel itself has problems. There are 400 rooms with only 1 luggage cart. It could not be found. No toilet paper in room or at the front desk. They were waiting on an order. No working tv remotes in the room.

The bathroom is extremely small, and there doesn't seem to be an exhaust fan; it gets very hot very fast when showering. But, the rooms are good-sized, and the beds are comfortable. There's an outdoor pool as well as indoor pool and hot tub. This is a nice hotel, especially for the price.

I didn't like that the bedsheets hadn't been changed since the last occupant, hair all over them. Mgmt rectified this. Hair dryer broken. Despite what looked like a large # of guests, it was really quiet. A/c was nice & cold.

The room was nice but the shower drain was clogged. The tub would immediately fill with water while trying to take a shower and there was 1-2” of water around my feet. Also, there was only 3 packs of decaf coffee inside the room, no caffeinated coffee.

Awful. Check-in took 30 minutes, despite having done pre-check in online. This was with no one in the lobby, at 8:30 pm. Lost power for hours. Concession area closed. Valuables left in room were not turned in to desk by housekeeping, therefore not retrieved. Buffet worker flipped out on the entire dining room full of guests with cursing, bigotry and racial slurs. My wife was one target addressed specifically. Told by the manager on shift that the rooms would be compensated for the incident, then on checkout, the manager of the day (Zach) refused to compensate us and showed zero empathy for the situation. We’ve escalated the issue to corporate.

We arrived to check in and when we walked into the lobby there were 5 people with luggage sitting on the floors. And another 6 people standing around with luggage. We were there over 10 minutes and not one employee was at the front desk. Not one guest was checked in during that time. Everyone was literally waiting for someone to come to the front desk. It was 9pm. After awhile we went across the parking lot to a different hotel and got a room. While we were checking in at the second hotel, a couple from the first hotel that had been waiting as well, showed up at the second hotel and booked a room there as well. I called hotels.com and they contacted the first hotel in an effort for me to get a refund. The hotel refused and said they checked everyone in but I doubt that because people were leaving because there was literally no one at the front desk. A side note- the outside of the hotel was extremely dark- no outside lights at all, and the overgrowth of grass and weeds was all the way around the building- it was trashy. This is NOT a 8.4 like the reviews reflect

We had a great stay at the Heritage Hotel. Last night, the staff showed exceptional politeness and patience, even while dealing with technical issues with the room card maker. Everyone remained calm and professional in what was clearly a delicate and stressful moment. I want to give a special shout-out to Miss Stephanie at the front desk—she handled the overwhelm incredibly well. Her grace, efficiency, and top-notch customer service truly stood out. Honestly, her professionalism alone would make me want to return to this hotel. She is simply the best!

The customer service was great, everyone at the front was exceptional. We forgot a stuffed animal and called a few hours later. They immediately went to look for it and held it at the front until we could pick it up. I believe his name was Tony, very kind!

I chose this hotel based on the reviews. They all lied. This is one of the worst hotels I’ve ever encountered. The staff checking in was friendly. But that was the best part of a three night stay. Apparently you have to ask for housekeeping. Which was never stated anywhere. When I figured that out, housekeeping had left for the day at 5pm! I had throw my trash away in a bin over flowing with trash. No one emptied any of the trash cans on the property. People smoking week in the parking lot. The pool was gross and filled with kids for birthday parties. The tv had maybe 5 channels that worked. All the others said no signal. Bathroom was tiny, moldy and no hand soap. The laundry room stole my money and the washers and dryers were filthy. The worst part? Breakfast! No coffee or anything anywhere. Kids running around making a mess and the worst breakfast of you can call oatmeal breakfast. Don’t stay here. Save your money!!!!

I picked this hotel for the price, pool, breakfast, and good ratings. From the moment we arrived you could tell something was not right. One of our rooms was not even ready and it was 4 pm. The manager said he had been working for 48 hours straight. That night we found one of our towels was already dirty. The next morning the manager said his staff did no laundry at night and there were no more towels. He put a load in and promised towels in 40 min. He shared that he had to fire most of his staff and was trying to hire new people. Breakfast was a mess with little to eat and sticky floors. Pool towels were almost always gone. We had booked for 3 night and stayed. I’m happy to say things got better. The same manager was there the whole time. He was training new people monday morning. My hat is off to that man. He was ex-military, remained calm and polite the whole time, and was doing his best to take care of everybody. Give him some time and some good workers and it will be the hotel I thought I had booked at.

Enjoyed a weekend trip to STL with myself and kids. I was looking for a safe stay. This was definitely it. The hotel is located right off the road for easy travel, barrel next door (although didn’t use because of free breakfast) and lots of parking. The staff were amazing. Very welcoming and accommodating. I also got to witness a gentleman working in the kitchen stop refilling the breakfast items during the busy time to accommodate a gentleman in a wheelchair needing assistance. He was also very helpful and kind to myself and kids. Hotel was clean. The pool was an indoor/outdoor so it was cold, but we did enjoy the hot tub.

GREAT LOCATION. EASY TO FIND. FOOD AND SHOPPING NEARBY. VERY NICE BED AND ROOM. VERY CLEAN AND GREAT BED. BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD. DID NOT USE THE POOL BUT IT WAS VERY CLEAN AND ORGANIZED. HOTEL IS ON THE FRINGE OF ST. LOUIS SO NO BIG CITY PROBLEMS WITH TRAFFIC. AREA SEAMED VERY SAFE. LARGE WELL LIT PARKING LOT. I WOULD DEFFINATELY STAY AGAIN.

Parking lot could have been picked up - liquor bottles scattered and grass was growing in the cracks - some paint could be used in the lobby - general maintenance needed but overall - comfortable, convenient, did what I needed.

How can you run out of coffee for a whole half an hour between 8:00 and 8:30 when the dining room had so few people in it? The was no desk clerk at the desk when I went to check out...I left my keys, but did not want to wait any longer for a person who apparently must have been elsewhere. Quiet hotel and clean. Was able to get more pool towels and bathroom towels when requested.

It was a little loud from the interstate outside, there was hair in most of the drawers in the room but otherwise the rest was clean. The hot tub didn’t work in the pool area. Breakfast was nothing to write home about but it was ok. For the price, I would stay there again.

Check in was slow. Seems like a property where staff are overworked. The lady hear me at the counter and told me to wait but still took over 5 minutes to come down and check me in. Their hot breakfast was terrible since they only make one serving of everything and then you are just left with the cold food. I mentioned this to the staff and they just said that's the owner's decision. Holiday Inn next door had great service and breakfast - really all you can eat!

Breakfast was stated to be from 7 to 10am. Arrived 7:45am and hot portion was almost gone. Empty by 8am. Attendant stated that hotel policy was to only offer one round of hot items and not replenish. Many guests were disappointed. We will never stay at this hotel again.

The complimentary breakfast was terrible. There were no biscuits, gravy, sausage, yogurt, juice, or forks, even though we arrived at the dining area at 8 am (breakfast closes at 9). They did have unripe bananas and a few pieces of bread for the 50 of us guests in the dining area to share. Thankfully, there was a Cracker Barrel next door to eat at. If the hotel would like to reimburse our breakfast bill, I can update my review.

Our bathroom needed a more thorough cleaning - I found a used piece of dental floss on the floor - gross. Also, the breakfast was fine, but it wasn't replenished - at 7:15, there were almost no scrambled eggs and no biscuits. There were no hotel staff around that I saw.

Good free breakfast included. Consisted of eggs sausages bisquite gravey cereal milk yogurt juices bagels creme cheese coffee muffins fruit. Clean room i would stay here again.
