Pear Tree Inn St. Louis Near Union Station

Absolutely loved St louis and everything is near this hotel.

Breakfast was fine, room was reasonably clean. A/C went out during our 2nd night.

Good Hotel, good location!

Property has not been updated, carpets, walls, fixtures quite worn.

Gail at the front desk was super nice and helpful at check in. They offer 3 free drinks (beer or wine) per person between 5:30-7pm plus snacks (we had nachos, chips and pretzels. There's also a popcorn machine with free popcorn between 4:30-8pm and a free soda fountain. The free parking garage was super convenient. Pool was warm and the restaurant on site had pretty good food. Complimentary breakfast had a lot of options including waffles, cereal, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage patties, muffins, bagels, yogurt, 3 different juices, the coffee was typical hotel coffee (not drinkable). Our room was very clean and comfortable, the bathroom needs some updates but the shampoo, conditioner and soap dispenser in the shower was nice. We would definitely stay here again, our 10th floor room was around $140 for mother's Day weekend. A short walk or drive to union station and a short drive to the zoo. The staff we encountered were the nicest hotel staff I've ever had.
