Parking was scarce around the building but they do have a parking garage. The hotel says park in the garage but then there’s an event next door and the parking attendant says we have to pay. We refused and just scanned our room card and parked. I’m not paying for parking on top of my room fee. The hotel was clean. Hot tub was very nice. This made our anniversary trip very memorable!

Room was great, clean and comfortable for the price. Hotel is a walkable distance to both city Museum and Union Station, which is great. Our only problem was the state of the pool. The water was murky, and the whole thing did not appear to be clean. Hot tub was not really hot and did not have enough water in it. My kids really wanted to swim in the pool so it was somewhat of a problem for us. Other than that we really enjoyed the stay.

Great hotel to stay in. The area is quiet even on the day of a cardinals game. The free beer and snack social hour was a nice touch. Only downside is when a lot of people are there the elevators are impossible to use since there are about 9 floors but there’s no changing that. Besides that, beds were comfortable, shower took a bit to heat up, wifi is decent.

Check-in was great and the staff were very friendly. Parking was atrocious. The garage is very tight and maneuvering a full sized pickup is extremely challenging. If you have a small car, you should be fine. If you drive a full size SUV or truck, be prepared to wiggle or have to find alternative parking. The mattresses felt old and were canoed. The pillows felt similarly old, broken down, and would they not hold any shape. The room, hallways, dining area, and pool were all very clean and the staff were phenomenal, but I would not come back due to the parking situation and the beds.

Room smelled musty. Carpet looked dirty. Paint peeling off of the bathroom ceiling. Didn’t want to get into the tub as it looked filthy. Even if you did paint chips would fall on your head. Waited 30 minutes in line to be told that no rooms were ready and they would put our name on a list and call when a room was ready. No one called. Came back an hour later and waited another 30 minutes in line and was checked in. The room was not clean. Clearly had not been vacuumed. Smelled like cigarette smoke. Carpet was stained. Sheets were stained. I don’t know how this place had so many good reviews because it was awful.

The rooms did not match the advertisement online. Deluxe & Updated: LOL The carpets were stained horribly, just gross. To shut the bathroom door, you had to get to the tub to shut door. The shower had mold and behind toilet didnt look like it had been cleaned in months. The vanity was so so small you could barely put your comb & brush n toothpaste on it. The bed advertised as comfy, whoever put description on it, had never slept on the bed. I prefer a firmer bed, but, was fine until hubs got in bed and when he turned over, the mattress acted as it had air in it and i just about was spilled onto the nasty floor. 4 nights of misery. My kids were in room across hall, their room was just as bad. Like i said whoever wrote descriptions, got paid well, but, rooms didnt live up to it. Elevators were worn & stunk. Get the fresh coffee as they are making it, when its stronger, cause they water it down 1/2 way, i watched them do it every morning. Like you could read the paper thru it. The good parts were the check in, nice employees, and the breakfast buffet had good choices.

Upon checking had to wait for employee to get off their phone before I could check in. Air conditioner in room had to be reset several times to blow out cold air. Finally went downstairs at 3:00 a.m. because I woke up in a pool of sweat. Was given another room the next morning.

Overall great experience at the Pear Tree Inn. The property is a little older however the room was a nice size with great views of downtown St. Louis with a small fridge and microwave in the room. Clean comfortable beds and bathroom. You can see the Arch from the hotel and on a cool day it's a nice walk. Really nice and professional staff. There's some uncovered parking around teh hotel and additional parking in a garage next door, you juts have to watch out not to park in the adjoining restaurant's slot. Very popular and busy while we were there but folks respected quiet hours. Would stay there again.

The staff were great and helpful. Check in and check out was a breeze and this was even as there were two huge events happening in the area both days we were there. The cons though…The room was definitely outdated. Wallpaper peeling off the wall, dirty carpet, toilet wouldn’t flush properly, the AC unit worked off and on throughout the stay. I was kind of surprised given how much it cost us to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is great and the breakfast was top notch. I would say, I do think they should update some of the rooms, we were on the 11th floor (great view), but it was very obvious it was once a smoking room. My sinuses were in overdrive. Also, the bathroom, while clean, was also extensively worn. Would stay again!

Generally clean but older hotel. Biggest problem was check-in. They didn't have enough King rooms clean by 4pm so they took names on a piece of paper and said to stay close and they'd call us. They had at least a dozen people stacked up in breakfast area waiting for rooms. An hour later no message, still no king rooms, so we left bags in vehicle and headed to supper and game. Returned after 10pm, still no message. Sent us to a room and it wasn't cleaned yet so we had to return to desk to get another. Front desk staff didn't have good answers, didn't seem to know full extent of rooms not getting cleaned. When they asked how my stay was and I told them all the above details, I got a response of "well, besides the room at checkin was everyting ok?" I'll look harder at other options before staying here again.

Unfortunately it took 2 hours to get checked in. Doris at the front desk was amazing and so kind, always ensuring that guests that recently arrived knew what the hold up was. But two other ladies up front (one with long blonde hair and one with multiple facial piercings) were very rude anytime guests asked them what was going on with check in.

Quincy was amazing and seemed to do it all between working the front desk and facilitating happy hour. Quincy was hospitable, fun, brought a welcoming energy, and made the trip memorable. The happy hour that included beverages and snacks was unique and well worth the money alone. Great location in St. Louis!

Arrived for checkin and told they didn't have any rooms available. This was AFTER available check in time. We waited for another hour, went back to front desk and asked how long and IF we would have a room. We were told they did not know. At that point after loosing hours waiting around we left and went across the street and booked at the Courtyard. Waiting lines out the door. I assure you had I not shown up I would have been charged for a room stay, yet there was absolutely ZERO concern about the fact they had no room available for a confirmed reservation that had been booked weeks earlier......

We didn’t really take any photos . The room was clean for and what we needed for the concert. Check in was a mess and when I arrived to the desk the lady told me she was leaving instead of checking me in and go to th next desk after a 10-15 minute wait. We walked down our floor and pieces of wallpaper are loose showing pipes. Not the best not the worst

Hotel was perfectly located for what we wanted to do while in town. Very walkable to Union Station, Busch Stadium and Energizer Park (across the street) for soccer. There was even a nice park close by to take our morning walks in. Really liked the undercover self-parking that was available. Something you don't always find in a downtown hotel.

When we arrived, we was greeted by a very friendly front desk employee. Received complimentary adult beverage for each of for each night we stayed. They offered free soda throughout the day. Breakfast had a fair amount of choices but it was the same every morning. Free Parking!! Stayed in King Size Bed room, plenty of space but the bathroom was small. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash offered smelled really nice. Will stay with this chain of Hotels again.

Owned by the Drury chain, the Peach Tree Inn has some of the features of a Drury chain - breakfast is very similar and they have the kick back service in the evening, but only beer and wine options, and only snacks like chips and popcorn.
