We liked the outdoor pool. We didn’t like the condition of the building. It was very old, the doors didn’t close properly. Our door to the patio didn’t even lock. I had to put furniture in front of the door to be able to sleep.

The room we stayed in really could’ve used some work. Part of ceiling was cracking and had displacement, shower needed recaulking pretty badly, and WiFi connection isn’t great. However, beach access easy, great dining options, nice pool, and great fenced in dog area for our dog to use the bathroom and run around in. Overall a decent stay, but the place needs a little mending. Our dog definitely enjoyed it, so for him 5 stars.

Room was clean and beds comfortable. Elevator was dirty and rusty, and hall carpet needs a replace. There were open trash containers at the elevator landing. Ocean access was ponding and not draining well. Staff were a bit slow at check in but friendly and helpful. Housekeeping didn't even bother to clean our room when we were out. Looked at breakfast one morning and didn't bother, nothing special. Location was good. Parking lot needs work. Decent price, but will stay elsewhere next time I visit the area.

First time staying in this hotel. Check in was easy. Room was nice, nothing spectacular. Great location. Convenient to shopping, dining, easy walk to the beach. Room was clean, but a little musty smelling. The stairway leading out had a terrible, stale odor. Bathroom was dark, could use better, or additional lighting. Decent stay for a few days away.

Our stay was just “okay”. You can tell this hotel needs some serious upgrade. The bathroom had mold in it and visible stains. It was really humid in the room and the air had to stay on constantly. There was a fan in the bathroom leading outside, which you could clearly see. That was disturbing. It also constantly cut off and on. The bathtub was so gross and grimy. The coffee was absolutely disgusting. Like horrible. Overall the beach access and pool was nice. Staff was super nice.

This hotel is old and needs to be updated. We stayed here for the location. That being said, our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The A/C was loud and ran constantly the entire stay. The staff was friendly. The hotel is literally on the beach and the beach was awesome. The ocean was in the 70’s and there was a pod of dolphins that were fun to watch. Probably wouldn’t stay here again unless they renovate.

Check in was great. The room left a bit to be desired. The door to the patio doesn't fit in the jamb so it's difficult to open/close, lock. The interior door does not fully shut. You have to pull it shut each time. The internet needs to be reconnected constantly which is annoying as all get out, the mattress seems to be completely worn out. It sags on the sides so you are never laying level. Walls are very thin, you can hear the other people,tvs, etc. I had room 101 which was right next to the exit door to the beach and patio which means the noise level was nuts

Pros: great location with good restaurants nearby, direct access to beach (shower head at the entrance which is nice), convenient parking, comfortable bed, friendly staff, nice small pool Big con 1: room air conditioner needs to be updated. It doesn't work well. You feel it directly after passing through nice lobby. It's also very noisy. Sounds like airplane noise. Con 2: room door is very hard to open and close because it's old. I understand that this is not supposed to be at the hampton inn level, but still some renovations seem urgent. Extra info: breakfast is just okay somewhere between holiday inn quality and red roof inn. I would be happy to stay again if the air conditioning is improved.

We had a very good stay and all the employees were amazing except for the breakfast lady I think her name was Sean. She was very nasty to my daughter and her boyfriend. She swore and was upset they were getting food 10 minutes before they close. She started to clean before the hours were done and even stayed right behind them cleaning up after them with them still getting food. I was not there or I would have said something. I did speak to the manager about it but from what I heard she was nasty to many people. We knew a couple that had three young kids and she was nasty to them as well. The next day we came for breakfast early and she is juts nasty and needs some customer service training. My daughter was getting eggs and sausage so she came up right beside her to check if it needed more. The top was open so she didn’t need to do that or she could have waited. She also came close to elbowing my daughter as she was standing there to set down a utensil as she got her food. Also she was sitting down talking more than working at all for a good 4-5 hours.

We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was amazing! Everyone at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The youngman that checked us in gave us a book with all the local restaurants and different activities we could do. The lady who served breakfast on Friday was so friendly and sweet, like talking to a friend. Our room was a pet friendly room. It was clean & right on the beach! Also on the first floor! Super accommodating for pet owners. Our favorite part was the back door that led straight out to the ocean. We enjoyed every sunrise with our 2 fur babies in tow and spent hours on the beach just a minute from our room!

The property is extremely old and the rooms only have double beds. The AC in the room had a hard time keeping up. No AC in the hallways. Elevators old and slow and loud. Nice pool area. Easy access to the beach. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Too expensive for the age of the property.

Just not-so-good all around. Positives - The front desk was welcoming and the room AC was cold. The hotel is older, the single elevator is older. Our shower didn’t drain, and we saw plumbers working throughout the building and a flooded staircase. The laundry was all out of order. The breakfast was not good, especially the coffee (comes out of a machine). We were relieved to check out.

Excellent front desk service. The food at the hotel was very delicious. Room felt on the small and dated side. Very comfortable bed. It’s a no smoking hotel, but one night about every 30-45 minutes a very strong cigarette smell was coming into our room. Guess the no smoking policy is very hard to enforce. Nice breakfast and we loved that complimentary coffee was always available. Overall a very good experience.
