Garbage under bed. Had to level refrigerator so the door would open. No ramp to beach, only steps. Bathroom light burned out last 2 days there. Had to call for room service 4 times one day. No vent in bathroom. Only one elevator. Not enough carts and they are tiny (bring your own cart/wagon to haul your things). No sliding glass door to balcony only a regular man door. Retuarant/bar closed every Sunday and Monday. Building needs updated for the price they’re charging.

Great resort, with indoor pool, hot tub, great ocean views off balcony, free laundry, burger joint in off season, restaurant the rest of the time, breakfast offered at cost. Location is great, staff was wonderful. We saw Dolphins the morning we left! We will be back!

I booked this hotel because our usual hotel was booked in regards to their pet friendly rooms. I read review after review about this hotel. They claimed it was clean, nice, etc. Let me tell you something... they were lying. This hotel was dirty. The pictures online are extremely deceiving. I knew as soon as i entered the lobby that it was going to be nasty. The outside area has trash everywhere. We went into the room and immediately noticed it was run down. The headboards had fingerprints and smudges like grease all over it. Upon wiping them down at the top it had layers of dust. There was dust all behind the table between the beds along with dirt. I mean years of it. There is dust all over the table lamps, tables and inside the drawers. The sitting not only looked gross but felt nasty. In the bathroom under the sink was layers of dust and dirt. The ceiling tiles were old and coming out of the ceiling. They were rusted as well. There were holes and dents in the wall as well. The only good thing about the hotel were the staff. Each one we encountered were polite. We were not pleased with the hotel. I have no idea where people are saying its clean because the entire parking lot, areas outside and room were trashed. The rooms look nothing like pictures.

The hotel is significantly aged. It has a very peculiar layout elevators are around the corner. The pool and the restaurant are at the same level with also access to the beach via a long boardwalk. The outdoor tiki bar very limited options deep-fried crap is how I would describe it. Draft beer not a good selection and not cold. Typical buffet style breakfast which I did not have as I really like to enjoy my breakfast but I think it was $10.95 usual hotel options. The room had a loose toilet seat that had some wear and tear. The lampshade had a booger on it. The small fridge wasn’t working and had to be replaced to their credit the next morning they were there to tighten the toilet seat, but didn’t replace it. Replaced the lampshade and the fridge so on we went. The bathroom is just tiny. It has a granite countertop. The two queen beds have a Wood headboard mounted to the wall beds, not very comfortable air conditioner in the window, plastic chairs on the balcony with bird poop on them by the way. I don’t know what else to say. It’s just for the amount these hotels charge, yes high season, but once a property begins to age, you can’t just slap paint on things and replace superficial things. It’s either gut it and renovate so it’s you know renewed or level it and build a new one. The pool was a humid chlorine, crazy bath. It will be my last hotel stay at the beach. Find a newer place or private rental.

Arrived at this hotel and was checked in. - The room smelled of urine, carpet and floor were so dirty that I when going into the bathroom accidentally stepped on white mat by shower leaving dark print of the bottom of my flip flops. - wiped the bathroom counter with paper towel only to pick up facial makeup along with several strands of hair. - ceiling above shower had mold - plastic knob on shower faucet showed dark dirt I do not recommend this place to anyone

Never any coffee in lobby, coffee maker in room is not keurig, but like coffee tea bags and dirty so never used it, bathroom tiny and fogged up easy as fan barely worked, super thin walls and ceiling in bathroom, the tiles flap up in the wind when balcony door is opened, can hear neighbors like they are in the room with you, huge moisture issue in room as sheets felt slightly damp everyday, cleaning staff does bare minimum as nothing seemed to be wiped down, trash under beds, sand in corners of rooms, floor seemed sandy, etc

The floors in our hotel room were filthy. So filthy they turned our feet black when we walked barefoot. When I checked under the beds to see if I left anything behind there were a pair of dirty children's underwear under one bed and a dirty sock under the other bed. Neither belonged to us because we were not traveling with children. Our trash was never taken out and we never got clean towels.

Front desks staff were very nice and approachable. When we got to our room it looked clean but after just walking around for a few minutes with only socks on our white socks were brown. Last full day our room was never cleaned and we only noticed when we arrived late at night when we returned. Under the beds when we arrive there was candy that previous guest had dropped and they stayed there until we left which showed us that the floor was not cleaned very well at all. Location was very nice right on beach and we had ocean view. But you can see that repairs should and need to be made in balconies… I would also recommend management to make audits on room FLOORs cleanliness as that was my biggest concern. We had to wear slippers the entire time we were in the room. Bed sheets, bathroom ( shower, sink and toilet) were cleaned when. We arrived but not during our visit. Bedsheets where never changed with a 6 night stay but we did get clean towels other then the last night.

We enjoyed our stay but the hotel is old. The room had a musty smell, the bath tub had rust spots and black marks. The bathroom was dated and there wasn’t a handheld sprayer in the shower which is nice if you’re a woman. To access the balcony (we had an oceanfront room), you have to open an exterior door and step over a tall threshold. For the price of the room I did expect something a little nicer.

The hotel is a bit tired and in need of updating. Vinyl floor in the room was lifting. Wood trim is chipped and caulked rather shabbily. Paper towel wedged in the balcony door frame to soak up rain leaks maybe? Refrigerator - no freezer door, so an iceberg forms in the freezer portion making it unusable. Very low water pressure in the shower. For what I paid for a week, the "breakfast" could have been complimentary. Especially considering what was available. I don't typically write negative reviews, but I can't get past spending over two thousand for the week and getting mediocrity at best.

Walls are paper thin. We could hear our neighbor’s podcast word for word with our tv on. Dogs on the first floor of the property could be heard on the 3rd floor. Constant barking our entire stay including all hours of the night.

The desk clerk when we checked in wasn't very friendly, she also had an attitude about moving us from the dog floor (1st floor) to any other floor. But she finally did move us. I just felt like it was an imposition. Wait staff was great, so was housekeeping. We had to check out a day early, as my roommate had a terrible headache and wasn't feeling well from being awakened so often during the night from the folks in the next room. When we checked out Saturday morning, the young man at the front desk said he would make an exception that we were a little past 11:00 (checkout time) and refund out 1 night charge and email us the receipt. After the same lady (from check-in day) returned she told him ahe couldn't do that since we used Expedia and to take it up with them! I have tried to reach a human at Expedia but have been unable. Please advise me how to proceed with a 1 night refund. This concerns me that hotels have a bad attitude about people using a 3rd party service. Thank you for following up and I hope to get a response from you soon.

enjoyed the ocean view, outdoor bar & restaurant, cleanliness of the room & hotel, cleaning staff were cordial and supplied what we needed. Carpet in the rooms needs replacing badly or go with another type of hard surface, mattress needed replacing (had stains & too soft). What bothered me most was the front desk staff.. none of them were welcoming, person checking me in didn’t have the knowledge to do his job & the front desk manager did not assist him & was unwelcoming also. The first impression a traveler gets is from the person at the front desk. If they don’t greet you with a smile and seem glad to have you stay there, it gives you a very negative impression of the hotel. Wyndman Ramada needs to address the issue of its front desk staff to make a better first impression of travelers staying there.

During my recent visit, my initial interaction with the first staff member was pleasant and professional. However, when I later returned to the reception, I encountered another staff member whose customer service was unacceptable. I inquired about the possibility of changing rooms and mentioned that I had three rooms booked. At first, the receptionist confirmed it would be possible, but then informed me that only two rooms were available, and finally stated that there was availability for just one. I politely responded that it would be better to leave the reservations as they were. Unfortunately, at this point, the receptionist’s attitude changed. She appeared visibly upset, looked at me in a disrespectful manner, and when addressing me, her tone became unprofessional.

The staff were professional and attentive. While our room was not ready when we arrived, they provided us breakfast vouchers for having to wait - a nice and considerate touch. When we had an issue with the toilet leaking, they had maintenance fixing the issue within 10 minutes. All my interaction with staff was very pleasant and congenial.

We checked in around 10pm with 2 tired kids after a long road trip. Our room was not cleaned. First, we were told that we can get a refund and go look for other vacancies at other hotels. I didn't appreciate that suggestion since it was late at night, we were all tired with 2 kids and a dog. We got 2 separate rooms for the first night and were told to move again the following day after our room got cleaned. Needless to say 1/3 of our vacation was spent moving.

Great front desk service! I was helped right away, they were able to accommodate my switch from city view to dune view, pet-friendly. The hotel is a little aged, but they are working through some renovations. Overall good, and very conviently located on the beach and in the middle of the island.

Check in was very easy since I did it online. Only drawback was I thought I was paying for early check in but it was only putting me on a list. So my family and I showed up for 1:00 but we were told they couldn’t guarantee that we would get in by 1:00. So we waited by the pool and on the deck which wasn’t bad because the weather was nice. We ended up not getting in our room until after 3:00. Otherwise the people at the desk were extremely nice and the accommodations were comfortable. Only other suggestion would be for the price that we paid for this room, breakfast should be included.

The property was very nice. Our room was clean and fairly updated. The hotel being on the beach was wonderful. All of the staff was pleasant and helpful. Having coffee put out every morning was a nice plus. The only negative I would say is that the restaurant/tiki bar is not open for lunch. It would have been nice to come off the beach at lunchtime and get a bite to eat and a drink at the tiki bar. That aside, we would definitely stay there again.

Hotel itself is ok! Pet friendly rooms on the bottom level rooms have no real balcony open straight outside, ours was duneside which was easy for walking the dog! Wifi was awful didnt use it at all after initial try. Breakfast was also awful! $11 for what other places call a free continental breakfast so we only did that once too! Beach access is great! Location to shops and restaurants is also great!

Very nice property right on the beach. Great view of the ocean from our fifth floor room. Rooms are a little dated, but clean and the beds are very comfortable. The Tiki bar restaurant had some really good food. Beach chairs and umbrellas available for rent at the end of the walkway. Breakfast buffet was $10.95 per person. Same types and quality of items as we had for free at Holiday Inn Express a few weeks ago. Also had to buy a lot of water because the tap water tasted bad.

After driving for 10 hours only to find out that the restaurant/bar was closed on Sunday and Monday. So we had to drive more to find a place to eat. Never again. We will stay somewhere with cleaner rooms and a restaurant that is open everyday especially in peak season
