The staff was the only good thing about that place , they advertise they have a pool but you can't go in the pool no water nor was the pool set up, after I was already booked in for the week they claim that they are waiting for the inspection, why advertise for pool , why do you think people who are renting a hotel room for a reason Pool REASON mostly DUH!!!! The staff was the best place to hang about the place

First of all- no elevator which made carrying luggage up to 3rd floor totally inconvenient. Towels in bathroom were stained and there was hair in the shower. Not sure where it was coming from but there was thumping base all night long. I’m not super picky but i Wikileaks not stay here again.

The towels and bedding all had stains. There was no elevator and we were on the third floor. It gets tiring to carry your suitcase. The free breakfast amounted to cereal and some pieces of bread. There was no coffee, either.

My pluses and positives: the staff was welcoming and helpful, the location was central to major shopping, the views were amazing and it was quiet. My only complaints were; lack of elevator(we were booked onto the 3rd floor), the beds are extremely firm(if thats your type youll be happy) and there were 2 floppy pillows per bed(recommended to bring your own), breakfast was lackluster(toast,cereal yogurt, coffee, juice from concentrate). Nothing was a huge deal breaker just minorly annoying.

The surrounding area was good. The lobby appeared clean enough. Staff was friendly. But omg, the first room I walked into smelled like urine. Like someone had peed in the room everywhere, let it dry, then did it again the next day for weeks. We switched rooms and the next room was better but still had a stale smell. Carpets were disgusting and the bathroom smelled like mold and had a bad smell coming from the sink. I stayed 1 night even though I had booked 2. I asked for a refund for the 2nd night but they told me no since hadn’t given 24 hour notice. I took the loss cuz this place was so gross. Don’t stay here, it’s disgusting.

This property and room were filthy. My room refrigerator had not been cleaned out and doors would not close. The floor was so dirty in the room that you could not walk on it with bare feet. The comforter was dirty and stained. I had to go to front desk to get a clean sheet to lay over bed because bed was too dirty to lay directly on

We have stayed at Super 8 hotels in the past and had a great stay unfortunately this place was disgusting. The bathroom door had a hole inside that looked like someone kicked it. The shower mat was discolored which made us wonder if it was clean enough to use. Our reservation was for 3 adults and there were only two bath towels, 2 wash cloths, 1 hand towel, and a bath mat. The desk chair was stained and was filthy. The veneer on the front of the desk was loose. It will be a long time before we make a reservation at a Super8 hotel.

Despite doing the online early check-in the person running the desk still wanted my driver's license saying that really they didn't trust the system - they wanted me to pay again but eventually found my card on file. Once I got into the room I saw stains on the bed cover, stains and filth in the tub, hair in the sink, the fridge's inside looks like it is covered in mold, and the "black-out" curtain was full of holes. If you don't care about sanitary things, and 20-year-old decore well, this might be your place. Also the guy at check-out rude in my opinion and no one ever told me just leave the door open to your room when you leave - that has never been standard practice at any other hotel.

I’ve stayed here twice. Fool me twice, shame on me. The first time, we checked in very late and got a filthy room. So bad, we almost left, but it was so late that we weren’t sure where we could go. The sheets were filthy, there was questionable looking hair all over the bathroom, the walls were covered with who-knows what, and the tub had not been cleaned. We complained the next morning and they cleaned it again. It was good enough that we were comfortable staying. This time, the room was dirty again. Stained sheets, hair on the bathroom floor, mildew all over the shower, and dirty splashes on the disposable cups you would drink from. On top of this, the common areas are fairly dirty and several things are in disrepair. One of my biggest issues is that there are no blankets. They only provide sheets and the coverlet that goes over a blanket. If you run the air conditioner it is too cold to not have some kind of blanket. We borrowed some the first stay and brought our own this time. I really want this place to be a good one because the location is so convenient for me, but I will unfortunately not stay there again. The real disappointment for me is that most of these issues are a lack of effort or care and can easily be rectified. For reference, I’m not super-picky and am usually happy at anything rated higher than a 7.

Nice staff, easy check in, but up half the night with the noise coming from hallway and room next door. Was given wheelchair room and shower is very unusable for a family that is fortunate enough to not have that issue. Had to have the air con in full blast all night to drown out the noise from next door.

The freeway is right outside which might not be a problem, but our room had single pane windows and what felt like no insulation. The traffic noise was very loud. The shower was a trickle. Some light switches didn't work (turn on the light), not sure if bulb was burnt out or switch didn't work.

Convenient location. Hotel is quite old. Carpet in room was very dirty, should be replaced, bathroom sink had cracks, shower showed signs of mold around faucet, shower mat old & dirty. Beds were very comfortable, wifi, and TV good. But really need a total remodel.

You don't expect anything fancy at a Super 8, but I don't think it is unreasonable to find basic amenities in working order. The heating/cooling unit in my room was so noisy that it was impossible to stay in the room while it was running (so, yes, I turned it off while there). The bathroom sink drain could not keep up with the running water, which then accumulated in the basin. Perhaps this was viewed as a feature, as there was no stopper for the drain if you wanted to fill the bowl. The toilet did not have a seat cover; it was just the seat portion, like in some stall. Luckily, nothing fell in from the sink area. The TV worked fine and the bed was reasonably comfortable. The desk and chair made computer work possible. While there is free wi-fi, it is unsecured (no password), so use at your own risk. The free breakfast was pretty basic: coffee/tea, juice, milk, yogurt, one or two fresh fruit options, mini powdered doughnuts, kids cereals (e.g., Fruit Loops), packets of oatmeal, and toast. It would have been nice if there had been bagels or pastries, or even an adult cereal choice. Due to the hotel's location just off the highway, there is a lot of road noise, especially if your room is near the front of the building. Bring earplugs.

The bed was hard as a rock first off. That #1 on my list when paying for a place to sleep. Pillows on the other hand were very soft and nice. Heater sounded like there is paper in it flopping around every time it kicked on. Tv sounded like the thing had been blasted over and over and fluctuating between loud and static loud. Tub did not drain completely till after 5 minutes out of it. The good part was aside from highway traffic noise there was no people noise or weird people hanging around everywhere, definitely felt safe.

It's a place to sleep and that's about it. The front desk lady asked three times if we'd already paid and I told her yes all three times and she still charged us for the room again. Then she brought in an older man to help and when I tried to explain she charged us again for the room he kept talking over me, interrupting, about the room deposit. I finally had to get louder and talk over him that we understood perfectly fine about the deposit but he needed to listen instead of taking over me that we had been charged for the room a second time. Not sure if he was being sexist in assuming I (as a women) didn't understand or if he just lacks basic customer service and listening skills. Finally, they got someone in the phone who was able to reverse the second charge. Older man tried blaming it on using hotels.com for the reservation, lady said she was new. Windowsill in room looks like it's never been cleaned, hairs were left in the bathtub, only two bath towels for four people. Will never stay here again!

I finally had to get louder and talk over him that we understood perfectly fine about the deposit but he needed to listen instead of taking over me that we had been charged for the room a second time. Not sure if he was being sexist in assuming I (as a women) didn't understand or if he just lacks basic customer service and listening skills. Finally, they got someone in the phone who was able to reverse the second charge. Older man tried blaming it on using hotels.com for the reservation, lady said she was new. Windowsill in room looks like it's never been cleaned, hairs were left in the bathtub, only two bath towels for four people. Will never stay here again!

Overall, the property would benefit with some TLC, improved communication between staff, a better computer system, and proper observance of guests' stated checkout time.

Stayed for 1 night while in town. The gentlmen at the front desk was pleasant efficient and friendly. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the room smelled nice. We have stayed here multiple times and it has always been a good experience. I will definitely stay here again.

Easy in and out to see our son. The rooms of course need to be updated but no bugs, no homeless people, no loud highway noise. We only stay for 1 to 2 nights and are rarley in the room so its a quick pit stop. Close by walmart, dutch bros and wendys. We like it just to lay our heads down.

It was our 3rd stay at this hotel. The hotel was clean and the staff was kind. They have a washer and dryer for guests, that is a nice feature. I haven't had the need to use it. Our stays have been over nights It is not far from Walmart and several fast food restaurants, or the movie theater. Its just off of hwy 70, and not far from interstate 25.

The hotel is beside the freeway so it was noisy with vehicle noise. It was definitely a no frills hotel, just a clean enough, inexpensive place to get some sleep before moving on across the country.

My pluses and positives: the staff was welcoming and helpful, the location was central to major shopping, the views were amazing and it was quiet. My only complaints were; lack of elevator(we were booked onto the 3rd floor), the beds are extremely firm(if thats your type youll be happy) and there were 2 floppy pillows per bed(recommended to bring your own), breakfast was lackluster(toast,cereal yogurt, coffee, juice from concentrate). Nothing was a huge deal breaker just minorly annoying.

You don't expect anything fancy at a Super 8, but I don't think it is unreasonable to find basic amenities in working order. The heating/cooling unit in my room was so noisy that it was impossible to stay in the room while it was running (so, yes, I turned it off while there). The bathroom sink drain could not keep up with the running water, which then accumulated in the basin. Perhaps this was viewed as a feature, as there was no stopper for the drain if you wanted to fill the bowl. The toilet did not have a seat cover; it was just the seat portion, like in some stall. Luckily, nothing fell in from the sink area. The TV worked fine and the bed was reasonably comfortable. The desk and chair made computer work possible. While there is free wi-fi, it is unsecured (no password), so use at your own risk. The free breakfast was pretty basic: coffee/tea, juice, milk, yogurt, one or two fresh fruit options, mini powdered doughnuts, kids cereals (e.g., Fruit Loops), packets of oatmeal, and toast. It would have been nice if there had been bagels or pastries, or even an adult cereal choice. Due to the hotel's location just off the highway, there is a lot of road noise, especially if your room is near the front of the building. Bring earplugs.

Great place to crash after sightseeing. It’s economical and the guys that run it are nice and helpful. The beds are not the best for comfort, but overall can’t complain. The breakfast is continental and had lots of things my kids like: yogurt, mini-donuts, captain crunch cereal and toast. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Stayed for one night December 1st. Everything was very clean and the rooms were beautiful. The front desk person was super nice and helpful with whatever we needed when we arrived super late at night. Definitely would go to again if I travel through las Cruces. Only problem is breakfast was so early and done super fast.
