Two couples, two rooms: both clean, spacious, with comfortable beds. The only thing is, this is a motel not a hotel, but very nice. No elevator. Breakfast buffet was good, dining area very nice.

Loved the stay. Only reason for the 3-star for the property is the parking lot is atrocious! I wouldn’t want to walk on it in the dark. We had a small issue with the rooms shower that we told the staff.

Very friendly staff at an older hotel which has been maintained well. Location was convenient but near train tracks. Ice machine was hard to find. Parking lot needs to be repaved.

Train ran by a few times during the night. Room was okay bathrooms needed an upgrade and a deeper clean. Have difficulties with the shower, would go from cold to scalding hot and back and everywhere in between. Not sure if it was user error or specific to my room.

Noticed 3 roaches in the bedroom, one one the bed, one that came in and was on the door and another that was on the table that I happened to catch in time before it crawled into my belongings. Didn’t sleep the best because I was to paranoid about seeing another

Right after check-in we found a large cockroach in the bathroom and another one the following morning. The room seemed dingy and dated. The mattress was way too soft for me and I knew I would get a backache sleeping on that soft bed, which had happened a couple of nights ago at another place so I decided to sleep on the floor. It was just a one night stay passing through. On the positive the breakfast and the staff were good.

The whole staff was top notch. They went above and beyond. The room was not clean. Someone had taken their finger and put smiley faces on the mirror behind the TV. There were nasty odd stains on the side of the mattress. There were also ants all around the sink. The pool looked to green to swim in.

Very big room with comfortable bed. The room itself was pretty dirty though - a lot of stains on the dresser, desk, and nightstands. Makes you wonder if the room wasn’t cleaned at all or was just not cleaned very well. Pretty good breakfast options. The train across the street was very noisy but other than that, the room itself was on the quiet side. TVs were definitely outdated and had a weird picture but overall, the stay was fine.

Front desk lady was welcoming and helpful. Check in was smooth and she even gave restaurant recommendations, which we chose one of her recommendations and it was absolutely delicious! The property was clean, room was clean with such cute furniture and very spacious. Was not expecting two restrooms which was a great surprise. Breakfast area was cute and clean. Staff at front desk when leaving breakfast were nice and even wished us a “Happy New Year & safe travels” which was very pleasant to hear since we’ve said it to others at other places and get silence in return. We will definitely be staying here again if ever in the area.

Overall for our needs the property was good & met our needs for the night. The facility & property were very clean. Staff was very friendly, making check-in & check-out a breeze. Breakfast was adequate, though a little lacking in the way of drinks. Otherwise everything was very fresh & hot. We did notice a soft spot on the floor at the entrance to the bathroom in our room, but it was manageable to step over & avoid. We also thought the air conditioner is in an odd spot, being at the back of the room by the bathroom instead of in the front by the door as most places are. Because of this, the bed closest to the bathroom doesn’t receive as much air flow as the bed closest to the door. It wasn’t a big issue, just something to keep in mind if you like to sleep cold/warm or to have air blowing on you.

Room was nice and spacious, furnishings were tastefully done. TV could be larger and picture quality wasn’t the greatest. I’m glad they seemed to be putting people on the upper floor because the floors were a little creaky and could be annoying with heavy footed guests above. The area appeared to be safe since it’s a short distance from the more business concentrated areas where the bums, homeless and drug addicts seems to congregate. Breakfast was awesome! Lots of choices. Good quality. All in all for the price point it was a nice place and good value. Would stay again.

Rita was very helpful and made sure were taken care of, especially since we checked in late and the room the attendant gave us the night before did not open when we got there due to battery issues. I recommend given the excellent customer service that Rita gave us. Also, They had excellent breakfast options and the lady attending the breakfast bar was also very nice and provided excellent customer care.

A nice facility. An older building but well maintained and comfortable. Nice dining area with great hot breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Surrounding area was not very appealing for walking around in. Many restaurants and stores available about 1/4 mile up the street.

Great staff - no elevator - weird smell - loud train going by in middle of the night. We got into town very late, around 11. I was exhausted from the drive with the dog, the cat and the kid. The staff was very sweet. She advised the train comes by 2x a night. 1am and 4am. She did offer earplugs which I declined but regretted. This a cute older roadside motel so there is no elevator. We had to make a few trips. There was a weird smell in the room. I was too tired to care. BUT - oh man, when that train came barreling by at 1ish in the morning, I’m pretty sure it drove through my soul. So GD loud. Breakfast was abundant.

2nd time I've stayed here and I really like it. It's clean, roomy, dining area is good, staff friendly. Parking can be a challenge when it's full but still ok. It is convenient to Old Mesilla and downtown Las Cruces. I will definitely be staying again. Maybe even longer this time. Miss Rita is a gem also!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was one of my favorites. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. I did experience a couple of detractions. The mechanism for opening and closing the sink came apart, actually just the connection to the pull rod for opening and closing the stopper. The second item was that the hot water in the sink never got hot, luke warm at best. Reported both items at checkout.

We like the cleanliness and size of the rooms. Rooms were well kept. The breakfast at blue agave Café was fantastic. Tracy went above and beyond to make us comfortable and feel homely.. We must give extra credit to her. We will be more than happy to visit again if need arises.
