Stayed 1 night

My elderly father and I stayed at the El Dorado for one night last month and it was less than great. It began with the parking garage. The handicapped spaces are on the bottom floor but the elevator to the skyway was broken, so it ended up not being that close to the entrance. We arrived at 1:30 (I had a spa appointment at 2) and were informed our room was ready but it would be a $57 dollar fee (seeing as we paid $110 for the night this meant it was over half the price of one night for the extra 90 minutes). We explained the situation but the front desk woman was very unhelpful. We then asked about luggage given the handicapped spot, and it was suggested I take care of it since I am able to walk without a cane. The room was not very clean (there was visible black mold in the bathroom) and overall the property needed upkeep. I will say the food court had lots of good options, so that was nice. Overall we will book elsewhere next time.
