Needs updating and a better cleaning service. My slippers stuck to the bathroom floor. Lobby had debris on floors. Hallways are dingy and really needs to be brought up to 2023 not the 1980's!

Serious updates are needed. This is such a great area with so much to offer and this particular hotel doesn't meet the standards of what you may expect. We typically stay at one of the other nearby hotels however they were sold out for the date we needed. My mother's room had a very musty odor and the shades over the lamps looked like they had been mulled by a cat. The carpet throughout is worn. Great staff but no attention to the condition of the facility.

Hotel ia very dated. The carpet in the hallwaya looked like it hasnt been vaccuumed in weeks. There were stains on the carpet in the room. The tub was very discolored and didnt drain properly. The TV was awful it kept skipping and lagging.

One or two front desk staff were lovely; one was sullen and unhelpful and left a bad taste. The hotel BADLY NEEDS UPDATING and the halls are so dark they don't feel safe. The price felt high for a hotel near the highway in a parking lot which is so old.

Very dirty! Fabric shower curtains are moldy, water damage moldy bathroom walls, filthy carpets, no bathroom vents, headboard was so dirty. Would never recommend or stay again

There was pubic hair encrusted in old soap scum on the toilet. The toilet seat itself was also not clean at all. Mold in the shower. Hair dryer fell off the wall.

Chose the hotel due to the supposed 3.9/5 google rating. There’s not way this hotel is a 3star. The carpet was ripped and stained. The headboard had handprints and grease stains. The towels smelled like straight chemicals. The bathroom was left dirty with soap scum and hair everywhere. The bathroom sink would not drain. The fact that it was $180 for a 16hr stay where we went to target and bought new sheets, new towel, cleaning wipes, new pillows, etc so we felt clean, was kind of mind blowing. The staff was friendly and the stay was average quiet.

The desk staff are wonderful. But, the rooms are not cleaned well. The carpets need cleaning, the bathroom are the worst. The room smelled like urine. The wall in room 136 was crumbling. The rooms need space planning, they are very tight. .

Clarion is usually my first choice when I return to the area. I have noticed a constant decline in the property. The walls have stains, the carpet is filthy and the rooms are dusty. I can see crumbs by the nightstand and debris on the carpet. I would venture to say the rooms are not throughly cleaned. In 240 the lampshade is dirty. The stopper on the sink is broken. A makeshift opening was made for the water to drain out the sink. They are no longer a pet friendly hotel but they are surrounded by higher end hotels that accept pets.

This was an unfortunate experience. Supposed to be a “non smoking” property. The rooms smell horrific of cigarette smoke. When I brought it to the attention of the front desk they were very rude and denied smelling what was the obvious, cigarette smoke. The carpets were filthy and the bathroom was dirty. Not a good experience. Will never stay there again!

My room had a terrible oder. I looked around and found some nasty black socks that had the whole room smelling so nasty. I purchase a scented candle and sprayed the room with my expensive perfume. The carpet was so nasty. Seem it had not been clean in years. Coffee pot with no glass holder or coffee condiments. Fried did not work properly to keep my items cold. If I can make a suggestion. An ATM machine would be nice to have in this establishment. Thank you

It's a budget motel -- nothing special one way or the other. Breakfast is basic. Everything in the room worked (except the safe, marked Out of Order). The exercise room was minimal but functional. The Elliptical Trainer sounded like it was going to fall apart, but didn't. Staff was always friendly and helpful.

My wife and I went to check in about 3:15 and was turned away due to the check in time was at 4:00 p.m. which I was aware of but was told the rooms are not yet ready. Please don’t take people to be stupid. We do a lot of traveling and this was the first time this occurred. When we did return after 4:00 to check in a different staff member was there and was courteous and helpful. Outside of that the front entrance was nice and clean but the following morning the cleaning staff was mopping the front entrance floor which I believe could have created a falling hazard. The room was spacious and clean.

The entire facility appeared not to have been updated for years - 1970s colors and stains in the carpet. Although the bed was comfortable with soft sheets, there was 1/2" of standing water in the bathtub, no kleenex in bathroom, and a lightbulb was out. The free breakfast was fine.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The property has seen better days. The dresser was broken. The furniture was chipped. The clock didn't work. The drain in the bathtub/ shower drained very slowly. We were there for three nights and were gone all day, all we did was sleep and for that purpose it was adequate. The staff was lovely and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. Very good coffee both in the room and at the breakfast.

the location was convenient. The front desk personnel were friendly. The breakfast adequate. The housekeeping was questionable considering the woman did not clean my room two days out of the four that I stayed there. After returning to the room @2pm on the second day, I tried to tell the housekeeper that my room needed cleaned she responded like she wasn’t supposed to clean it but she didn’t speak English. I had to go to the front and tell them. After they went to talk with her they returned and told it would another hour before the room would be cleaned. I had to sit in the lobby for an hour waiting for my room.

Staff was very unfriendly. Check-in, unfriendly. Breakfast was almost empty at 9:30, staff said it would be about 5 minutes. So we waited five minutes for hot breakfast refills like she said. No, she then kept coming out and being rude to other guests when they asked for anything. (Which was empty since 9:30, breakfast until 10:00) then at 10:05 she then come out and started to remove all of the breakfast and shutoff all of the lights and appliances. Informed everyone that BREAKFAST WAS CLOSED!! continuing to say CLOSED!! Excuse me??? You were too lazy to refill it for a half hour so then. You just closed it!! Nice!! Thanks for the hot breakfast!! JOKE!! Room?? Carpets were disgusting, not worth the 150$ they charge a night for this place!! Could definitely use some upgrades. I would say it’s a motel 6 level

We had to leave our booked accommodations unexpectedly overnight. Clarion-Beachwood had an incredibly helpful front desk staff member (Leslie) who was able to help us out with booking and communicated our situation to her manager, who was also incredibly helpful and understanding. This location is clean, incredibly quiet, and provides a nice, hot breakfast (waffles, eggs, breakfast meats) in addition to cold breakfast options (cereal, toast, waffles, yogurt). Could not recommend this place more!

This was part of our sweetheart weekend getaway that my fiance and I do every weekend. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The area surrounding the property wasn't much, but it's conveniently located off the freeway. Our room was average with no complaints. Nothing special to write about with this property. Good room for a fair price

Check in was easy and the receptionist was kind. The hotel is right off the exit. It’s nothing fancy and the bathroom was pretty dated but it worked well for our family and our one night stay!

This hotel seems pretty well managed. Free breakfast is reliable, adequate,.. but if staying more than a few days.. boring. We were visiting from Oregon for a week, and weren’t aware some Eastern hotels had stopped servicing rooms unless asked .. this due to folks complaining of house keepers coming into rooms during the pandemic. So we had to ask for fresh rolls of TP or tissues. Overall we were happy.

Everything great, very clean, great breakfast area, nice staff. Shower walls clean but base of it rusty, some pink mildew at bottom where caulking needs redone. Great place overall for a quiet place to stay after Guardians game before heading home in morning.
