Beware - the advertised shuttle service does not run on weekends. The main reason we chose this hotel was for the free shuttle service, and no where on the hotel's website do they mention that their "free shuttle service within 3 miles" is only available on weekdays. It was only when I asked at the front desk how to use the shuttle that I was informed it only runs Monday to Friday. Other than that, it's an average hotel. Rooms are on the small side, and parking is extremely limited.

The room was quiet, the beds were comfortable, free breakfast had quite a few options, and it was located conveniently for us. However, one of the reasons we booked this property was because it offered a shuttle service to University of Pitt. The day we arrived, there’s a sign saying “no shuttle tomorrow”, so we ended up walking the 15 minutes to campus. The only other complaint was the parking lot spots were very tight to maneuver with our Toyota Tacoma extended cab.

Gym had broken equipment and no wipes to sanitize. Water cooler was empty. Bathroom in lobby was dirty no toilet paper and no soap. Breakfast room was all empty trays with little food. Coffee was empty. Table were not wiped down after other guests. Really gone down hill from prior stays for the price point.

The hotel looks decent on computer with good location and fairly new building. Unfortunately, the in-person impression was much less satisfying. First the room cleanliness is questionable. We noticed the toilet in our room had visible blood stains left from previous guest. Second, the continental breakfast menu was very limited comparing to other similar 2.5/3 star hotels. The in-room air condition unit was also quite loud. Overall, this hotel failed to meet my average expectation. I had stayed in other better operated Hampton Inns.

Reservation was for king bed room. Got to room and it was a 2 "queen" bed room. Since we didn't arrive to hotel until almost 1130 pm, I just let it go. Bed was horribly uncomfortable. I noticed the next morning while doing my morning routine in the bathroom that the toilet from the middle of the bowl down was filthy. Hair stuck to stains and dirt all around the under side of toilet bowl base of toilet. Wont be staying here again.

The drawers and other woodwork in the room showing some age. The caulk in the shower had mold spots growing on them. I did let the front desk know and they apologized and comped my parking. Front desk, breakfast staff and other staff I met were wonderful

Honestly felt "icky" hate to be this way. My wife and son found stains from bed bugs and the hotel quickly moved us to another room. The service was great. The rooms just didn't feel clean.

On entering our room we noticed that the air conditioner was off and the unit had that humid smell. There was a container in the refrigerator with food that had gone bad, so of course it smelled terrible. And then there was the shower which appeared to have not been cleaned for some time.

Nice little motel near a medical facility. Rooms were clean and tidy. Rooms small, nothing exciting about the view. Bathroom shower ran onto floor during shower. Check in/out was fast and easy. Nice neighborhood and safe. Parking area nice. Definitely would stay again.

There wasnt a USB-C port outlet so my electronics took longer to charge bc i forgot my block thinking thered be some USBC ports. The outlets are built into the floating shelves, i wouldnt be surprised if a bigger person rolling out lf bed would take out the floating furniture. Pillows were uncomfortable aswell, the spinny chair has a short back, and the AC is very loud. AC is controlled on a wall next to your bed and you can turn it off aswell

The room is small with only one chair; and the bathroom lacked a clothes hook or towel racks or any counter space for a Dopp kit. Also, we did not know ahead that we would be charged $25 a night for outdoor, unsecured parking.

This is a solid place to stay. It was quiet, parking is good. We needed to park a rental van, and there was plenty of space. It’s clean and the beds were OK, not super comfortable but everything was clean and organised. Fridge was not plugged in so had to switch out the coffee maker to put fridge in. For the price this hotel was good value. Did not have the hotel breakfast so can’t comment on that.

The staff was terrific! Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and helpful. The free hot breakfast items were delicious. The problems were in the room. Lighting in the bathroom was dim at best and the toilet ran constantly. If there's only one size for a queen bed, then the bed was not a queen. There was a desk chair but no other place to sit in the room. What happens in the lobby is important, but the room is what matters.

everyone is very nice. rooms are small and ours smelled like cigarette smoke from the ac unit. toilet took over 5 minutes to fill up after flushing. didn't complain, but got the sense our needs would've been addressed if we did. just too tired to hassle with it.

There were several events going on this weekend, including Pitt's many graduation ceremonies and the Pittsburgh Marathon. The hotel was very festive and offered congratulatory water and cupcakes for folks. We had a little trouble getting things figured out, as we had two separate bookings through Hotels.com. The third person we spoke to for assistance was finally able to figure it out. Misty is awesome.

Reserved and paid for a king deluxe room. Called the day prior and comfirmed/requested an accessible shower. Arrived and provided my credit card for incidentals only to realize the charged me for room again. Omce we got that figured out, we were given keys and went to our room. Immediately went back to desk because room was not a king deluxe. I was immediately told that they overbooked rooms and had to move me. What? Move me and not tell me? Not offer a discount? Just expect me to be ok with that? I then suggested that they move someone else that hadnt checked in yet, not me. Was again told that they didnt have any kings available and definitely not a king deluxe with an accessible shower. I again suggested they move the next person. She thrn said that my reservation did not specify a kind deluxe and there was no note about my request for an accessible shower. I offered to show her my confirmation but then the woman said she needed to speak to her manager, and 2 minutes later i was given keys to a king deluxe with an accessible shower. Why lie to your customers? Why hide a room change? I am Completely appauled by this behavior and how i was gaslit into thinking my reservation was not what i thought and how shady it is for them to just change rooms with zero disclosure. Shameful behavior

Pierre was awesome prior to and during check-in. Our room was clean and exactly what we needed with a beautiful view of the city and the river. Parking was easy to access and get in and out of. This was the perfect location for our college visit to Pitt. Should she choose to attend or if we return to Pittsburgh for any reason, we will stay here again.

Great location. Visiting Univ of Pitt for athletic events. Walking distance to Peterman center. Not thrilled about having to pay for hotel parking but that is city life. Staff were friendly, room was nice.

The property is clean, updated, and conveniently located for anyone needing the hospitals or university access. The room is nicely set out with all necessary amenities, and it is clean and the bathroom is quite nice. The breakfast included is an adequate continental breakfast option, which helps make up for the fact that you must pay for parking. The staff truly is the best part of this property! The front desk staff and those cleaning and stocking the breakfast area were extremely nice, pleasant, and welcoming. Only one of the issues we found questionable about the property relates to the room itself, which is the uncomfortable beds. Everyone is different though, so others may find the beds adequate. Also, not something the property can control, but the neighborhood is not ideal for basics since the hospital takes up so much of the area.

We waited almost two hours in the lobby on late Saturday afternoon because our rooms weren't ready. Meanwhile countless other customers checked in and received their rooms while we continued to wait. Eventually the person behind the desk asked if we really needed handicap-accessible rooms because if not we could check in sooner. We had never requested accessible rooms in the first place. The two gentlemen behind the reception desk seemed overwhelmed by their duties. The following morning, there were no waffles available in the breakfast room because the attendant said she was out of batter measuring cups. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

However, when we came down for breakfast, we were told that there was no hot breakfast, and we were given an orange, a small muffin, and a bar. No explanation, apology, or compensation was given. This is bait and switch at best, and cheating at worst, and not what I would expect from a Hilton property

While our room was clean, there was a sticky stain on the desk. The shampoo dispenser did not work and the body wash dispenser was missing. Breakfast was not what was advertised. Although it was a continental breakfast, the food was not replenished to the number of guests that had to eat. With 1 hour left for breakfast, there were no bananas, apples, muffins or yogurts left. This property was very disappointing. We understand you’re under improvement, but there shouldn’t be vacuums on display on your way to the elevator. A simple screen can hide those items. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this property.

Nice clean and up to date. Parking should be free as they have a huge on property lot. Unfortunately, their continental breakfast was kind of a mess. Crowded and shoved in a back corner. The first day we just got coffee and the second day it was empty even though it had more than an hour to go until it closed.

Come down for breakfast 7am and there was hardly any thing ready,no pancake batter and when it did make it out,it was really thick and hardvto get out of dispenser.Oat meal was extra thick they kept adding water then some milk. Wasn't prepared for 6::00 am breakfast. Thanks
