Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at Station Square

Parking is a bit over priced but otherwise had a great stay.

Spacious room with nioe view of river. Indoor polo was nioe. Veremona convenient to incline and The gateway clipper.

Clean, comfortable & remodeled rooms. Nice restaurant/bar area. Staff were welcoming. Parking fee too high. Enjoyed the stay.

Pool is very loud and the parking is expensive, but other than that we enjoyed our stay!

Over all it not bad little dated, nice bar area and restaurant. What was very frustrating is that you have to pay for parking on the hotel’s property separately from your stay.

Everything was great except the pool was filthy and falling apart. Big disappointment on that front.

Great hotel and very convenient location. Rooms spacious and bed linens very comfortable. Only downside is the parking. The hotel lot was full when we arrived and then I had trouble finding somewhere to park overnight. I ended up parking in the garage across the street after driving around for 20 minutes in Steeler traffic. I find it ridiculous that they do not validate parking and make hotel guests pay for parking separately. Especially when the rooms are already $250+ per night.

Parking, proximity to transportation for event, and room was good. Pool was not warm, bar was closed post event.

I didn’t like that he hot tub in the pool area was filled in. No complimentary breakfast anymore sucks too

Hotel was fine for the most part, however the trash hadn’t been emptied and requested cleaning for our second day never happened. The staff was lovely, but the shower was wonky and the carpet was obviously old and looked overly worn.

We loved the restaurant staff, we were disappointed in the state of the shower. It had hair in it and looked unclean. We also loved the pool

Hotel floor was dated and room was dirty. Would not stay here in the future

I was somewhat surprised about the condition of the carpet in my room. It was frayed and dirty in spots. The table in the room needed wiped off also. The bath gel was dislodged from the wall and was empty. I was there for a joyful occasion so I decided not to sweat the small stuff.

The room was hot until we called maintenance to come check the air conditioner out. They were very prompt. However we had to call down several times to get fresh towels and they never cleaned our room as well after calling them twice. So our room was never cleaned and we stayed for two days .

The hotel is very convenient. We enjoyed the river view room. The hotel is older but the rooms were updated and very clean. All of the rooms are quiet.

Due to a late arrival and early family responsibilities, I checked in around 2:30 a.m. and checked out the same morning. At checkout, I briefly informed the front desk that I didn’t enjoy the stay. The staff member kindly asked what went wrong, but I had limited time and explained that I would follow up later — as I am now doing. Here are the issues I encountered: • Room Cleanliness: White debris was scattered across the carpet, and the bathroom curtain had visible pink and yellow discoloration, suggesting it had not been properly cleaned. • Hygiene & Maintenance: I observed mold between window frames and along the ceiling line, chipped ceiling paint, adhesive marks on the wall, deteriorated flooring near the toilet, and stained carpet patches. • Facilities & Presentation: The room lacked a microwave — a basic amenity now standard at many mid-tier hotels. Additionally, a countertop sign listed prices for towels, robes, and other items. While I understand it may refer to replacement costs, its presence gave the impression of mistrust and was more reflective of a low-tier operation than a five-star environment. • Pest Concerns: A mosquito was present inside the room, which made the space feel unhygienic and uncomfortable. • Odor & Bedding: The pillows had a noticeable unpleasant smell, making it difficult to rest comfortably. • Safety & Security: The interior door lock was broken and could not be secured properly. For my family’s safety, I had to rely on the door frame l

Our toilet did not flush properly. We sometimes had to hold the handle down for like 30 seconds and then if we'd hold it down it would do nothing. And, noise from outside was horrible. If people next to us shut their door, our door would shake like someone was trying to enter our room. This happened all night long. But view was beautiful

Love the new and improved Sheraton. All staff was top notch. Layout of room and lobby features definitely kept in mind of remote workers. I did have issue with the wifi, I was not able to connect or if it did connect, the signal was very weak. The hotel might consider adding hotspots or boosters throughout the hotel to ensure guest connection. I had to use my personal hotspot for work.

Great place to stay in town. Nice views, trains, river activity and the great PGH skyline. Very nice room.

Great room with a beautiful view, just wish I knew the train ran right outside my window all night long when I booked.

We had a city view room and the view was excellent! The trains were not too bad, considering they were right outside the window- I certainly heard them when I was awake, but they didn't wake me during the night. It would have been nice to have a towel hook or towel bar to hang our wet towels on.

Received a room directly by the elevator which beeped all through the night, coupled with noisy people congregating while they waited for the lift. Very hard to sleep with all the noise. Really disappointed.

The Wi-Fi didn’t work

A wonderful hotel overlooking downtown Pittsburgh and the Monongahela river. We were delighted when we checked in at around 8:00 PM when the desk clerk, Abigail, told us that our room had been upgraded to a city view. The room was lovely, big and very comfortable.

Hotel overall was nice. Our room the air conditioner/heat was broken and made loud noises all night long.

Enjoyed our stay. Chose this hotel due to location to ferry to take over to PNC Park for a Pirates game. Very comfortable bed, room was spacious, and bathroom was updated with plenty of room. Did not try on-site restaurant.

The asthetics of the entrance to the hotel was very welcoming. Limited staffing at the desk for check in and the elite counter was not available. Service at the general counter was welcoming and supportive seeking to assure an optimal experience.

The staff was not very friendly and the overall quality of service was poor to be nice

The staff to check in was very rude. They could not check us in at 4:00 and waited 30 minutes watching others check in and getting a room. Another guest was also waiting for their room and asked if they would have to use the public bathroom to get ready for their dinner reservation. When we stated other people we’re getting rooms, the employee said if you think they are doing better then go to them, meaning other staff.

The customer service was outstanding. Above and beyond. The person that checked us in at the front desk (and was there through our stay) went above and beyond, arranging a very early check in due to our early arrival time and a little later check out due to our departure time. She went above and beyond to help us with our needs and was so kind. I can't say enough wonderful things about her.

The property was spacious, clean and well managed. Kudos to Lauren D (Front Desk Mgr) for sending sincere welcoming messages. She remarked that she recollected who I was when we met as I checked-out - that's meaningful Customer Service. Kudos to Shane and Annmarie (Front Desk) for their professionalism, assistance and humor during check-in. Kudos to Anthony, the lone Bartender, for patiently and deftly managing a full bar late at night.

During my stay at the Sheraton hotel at station square in Pittsburgh Pa I was disappointed regarding the unprofessional conduct of the front office director! Upon raising a concern that the breakfast was included in the rate I paid for my reservation, she responded in an extremely dismissive and disrespectful manner. She rolled her eyes at me, which I found not only unprofessional but also insulting. I was simply trying to clarify a legitimate point regarding the services included in my booking. The hotel was very clean and the waitress at the hotel restaurant was fantastic! But unfortunately the front office director ruined our stay at the Sheraton!

It's a nice, conveniently located hotel. Parking is self-park only and is quite expensive. My first night, I loved my room and view but the carpet in half the room was wet from some malfunction. Then a dog was barking non-stop from a nearby room. I asked to be moved to a different room for my 2nd night. The room was on a higher floor but smaller and the toilet was comically small, like a child toilet low to the ground. The next day as I was checking out, all of the furniture was covered in plastic. I asked why and was told it was to protect it from stains from a convention of bodybuilders who tend to slather themselves with spray-tan. I wouldn't be too pleased as a guest checking in to see that. So I would stay here again but warn that it really seems to depend on many factors. But ALL of the staff, from front desk receptionists to bartenders to housekeeping were friendly and professional.

Arrived around 11:30pm. Front desk staff was such an incredible experience after a long late drive. Really made me feel like I was in the right place. The view makes anything and everything worth it.

Great place. I’ve been utilizing Sheraton Station Square off and on for many years. Always a great location and always enjoyed our stay. Went for Steelers Browns. Took the boat to North Shore. All good!

Great place to stay after a concert at Acrisure Stadium. Short walk to the Gateway Clipper to take to the show. Will definitely stay here again.

A great location. It’s close to the Inclines and downtown is a very walkable distance. The tour boats are next door as are the train tracks so if you need ultimate quiet look somewhere else. I myself enjoyed watching the trains against the backdrop of the bridge and the river.

Excellent location overlooking the river.

They didn’t have parking and you had to pay to park. $60 for 3 days. They didn’t have a free continental breakfast and didn’t say anything about paying until after you ate. Tried to charge $118.00 for 4 people and 2 didn’t even eat anything. Probably not going back there ever again. For the money I paid you shouldn’t have to pay for parking or a crappy breakfast.

Amazing breakfast but the service was terrible. Other than that it was a rad hotel. I’ve stayed here before and the service was the same. Fix that and it would be and amazing stay.

The hotel is very convenient is attending a local musical concert. You can park and ride the Gateway Clipper to and from concerts. Some downsides to the hotel was there is no water pressure in the hotel room or restrooms. Also the breakfast buffet was subpar for $21 per person.

It had been a while since we stayed here. And it did not disappoint. The updated rooms were very nice. Bathrooms were large and clean. Service at front desk was great too! Bar in lobby was nice too!

The food was amazing and great energy across the property. We'll definitely stay again . Thank you all so much!

Food/ kitchen manager that was working morning of 5/25 was absolutely awful. Wanted to argue the point of a raw egg vs dippy egg when the egg we all looked at was obviously raw. Also she chose to argue with my son in law who happens to be a food scientist that works in the food industry so she picked the wrong person to argue with. This one employee soured our entire stay with your hotel.

Easy in and out, great staff. We ate at their restaurant good food and atmosphere.

Restaurants was terrific, good food and courteous staff. Good location, downtown in walking distance. Incline close by. Good views from our room. City is clean and people are friendly
