It was. A huge pain to access the WiFi. You had to sign up and create an account with an email and password for Mariott to access the WiFi. Ridiculous!

Room was ok but very outdated shower. Front desk woman at check in wasn’t very friendly. Not a fan of paying for parking at a hotel. Good location though. Walking distance to North Shore.

They were having issues checking us in. There was no parking, major construction mud and fencing all around. told we could only have 1 car per room which they charged for, we actually checked out a day early but they charged us for 2 days of parking.

The staff at this hotel was exceptional. Everyone we met at the front desk was beyond helpful, the woman working the breakfast area was a rock star and the staff at the in-house restaurant were the best restaurant workers we may have had the pleasure of interacting with. The restaurant food was very good.

Pool needed cleaning and there were no towels clean.

The continental breakfast was amazing! They offered hot oatmeal with different toppings, turkey sausage and there were 2 waffle makers. Most hotels do not have variety like this one. The staff was friendly and they offer shuttle bus service to PPG Paint Arena.

Great location! This hotel is directly across the street from PNC Park, the Pittsburg Pirates home field. Cleanliness - Except for the pool the cleanliness was excellent. The pool was totally unsatisfactory. The was debris all over the bottom of the pool. I felt it was unsanitary. I choose not to get in the Easter and wouldn’t let my grandson who was accompanying me get in either. We were both very disappointed, after a long hot day of traveling, we were looking forward to getting in the pool and having fun.

The hotel was conveniently located near PNC Park, Acrisure Stadium and numerous restaurants. Room was noisy as the AC unit ran 24x7. Pool was under maintenance.

Stayed at this property for a Steelers game. Was within walking distance to the venue (about 13 minutes) and parking although $27 a day was easy to do. We were able to continue to use the parking spot into the next day with an added charge for the game. Gym facilities were very nice and conveniently open 24 hours.

It was nice that it was close to everything. Didn’t like that our floor didn’t have hot water in the morning. 1 elevator working. Breakfast was gross and was not stocked well.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked great.

There was no hot water the morning we were checking out, we tried to call down to let them know however the phone did not work and when we were checking out there was a long line of people and we weren’t going to wait just to have them say sorry about that. The linens were clean however the couch arms were quite dirty and gross along with the walls it looked like a bottle of champagne was opened and sprayed all over the wall. It was clear it had never been cleaned off of the wall.

The fridge was broken so all of our stuff got spoiled. The floor had some gross stains and there was blood stains on the bed. The tub was slightly broken but the shampoo and conditioner was nice. The staff was friendly but a little more lighting would have been nice.

Water in shower was Luke warm at best. Leaking ice machine on 6th floor has so much mold growing on the wall that the wallpaper is peeling off exposing the mold to anyone on that floor. Used bar of soap found in shower upon check in. Breakfast team was kicking butt with the amount of people in the area at one time they kept everything stocked and people moving in and out.

Room was not ready when promised. Few minor issues - dirty glasses in the sink and a bug in the bathroom

Loud construction right outside window. Woke us up. Dirty blankets. Pool looked dirty as well, booked because it had pool but did not feel comfortable going in.

Nightstand had dirty stains, broken AC vent and rusty ceiling over the tub also tub stripping. Will never visit this property again

Everything was very clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff were friendly. The room was nice. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and the tub and sink weren’t clean.

Rooms in need of updating. Reading lights not working in both rooms. A/C louder than a NY subway train.

We stayed here exactly two weeks prior and ironically, got the same room. Lights were poor then and were poor now. Light bulbs are burnt out and room has a dark feel. Also noises between sirens and constant doors being open and shut. We do like the staff and the location is very convenient.

We paid extra for a large room and the tv did not work the entire weekend. We were also next to an elevator and we could hear it all night long while trying to sleep.

I liked the location. I didn't like how the TV was set up in the room. Either put it on the wall in the living room area, or in front of the bed.

The room size was fine. However, things were outdated and rusty; the tub, lamps, etc. Pillows were awful. There was only 1 small mirror and very, very poor lighting. We were next to the highway and it was very loud. The breakfast was free but I recommend going elsewhere...

There were no pillows or blankets for the sofa bed. Three design of the room was horrible. There is no fan in the bathroom. The sink/vanity is outside of the bathroom. Just awful. But really clean

The hotel was average. I expect a bit more when I see the word Marriot. Rooms need to have better lighting and full length mirrors.

Location was great for a quick walk to PNC Park to see a ball game. The staff was friendly and the room was spacious.

Our room wasn't ready at 4pm, front desk staff said they hadn't started cleaning it yet. She only offered a lesser room (we had reserved a one bedroom suite with a door on the bedroom). We had a river cruise prepaid that we would have missed had we not just let them hold our luggage and check in after our cruise, not ideal, would have liked to freshen up after driving 4 1/2 hours. The woman at the front desk was dressed very unprofessionally and didn't have the right personality to be working in customer service. She never made eye contact and appeared to not care at all that our room wasn't ready with a disrespectful attitude. There wasn't a fan in the separate shower room, the towels were extremely thin and felt like sandpaper. There was only a very dim backlit mirror above the separate sink area. Not nearly enough light to do make-up or shave. The bathroom faucet was mounted so far back that the water coming out barely cleared the counter. The rest of the room was comfortable enough. Door to the room did not close on it's own, it dragged on the carpet and had to be pulled shut. The lobby, elevators and hallways smelled of cigarette smoke most of our stay, smell evident in our room at times. When we left our room the first morning, we put the "do not disturb" sign on the door. When we returned, the sign was gone and we found it on the bedroom dresser. There was a piece of glass on the carpet in bedroom, app wouldn't upload my photo of glass.

We have stayed at this hotel for years but we'll be staying somewhere else next time. If you're in Pittsburgh for a game, this hotel is right across the street from PNC Park which is great. However, there are other hotels close by. When we first arrived the woman working at the desk was so enthralled in watching the game that she barely had time to check us in. It was very uncomfortable. My husband even made an attempt to talk to her about the game but she wasnt interested. On top of that the hotel lobby was without AC for our stay which made eating the complimentary breakfast very uncomfortable. It was so hot in the dining area that we were all literally sweating. We would have preferred to eat in or room but unfortunately there wasnt enough seating with table space for the 4 of us. This hotel used to be our favorite place to stay, now its just OK. We'll be trying another hotel next time.

The hotel had good hours for the pool, nice and clean, overall. It had a decent breakfast spread and the rooms were a good size. I would consider returning. The only, but most important downside, was how rude the front desk assistant were. Two of them specifically. The young woman working on the morning of Friday, March 28th had a very demeaning attitude until she realized I had a reservation. The lady working on the night of Saturday, March 29th was the worst. My husband wanted to purchase a soda and when he went up to her to ask, she literally asked “what?”. As if we were bothering her by interrupting her gossip to what seemed a co-worker. The hotel was nice, the front desk staff was horrendous.

My family met up with some friends to attend a Pirates game. We spent two nights at the hotel and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. We loved our room and the location was perfect to walk wherever we needed to go. We were especially thankful for Timika with the breakfast staff and she was just amazing with my son and made it an awesome experience for him. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Loved Pittsburgh but our hotel stay was just okay. Shower head was leaking non stop, toilet having trouble flushing, our hotel room phone did not work and could not call the front desk. Had to ask three times, a total of 2 hours to get linens for the pull out couch and towels. Front desk attendant was sleeping on the front couch when we were trying to check out and add my Marriott member ID (I forgot to when we checked in)

The property was fine however I was charged first by Expedia for my stay, which was expected, then $100 for incidentals at the hotel, the remainder of which would be returned to me after my stay. Then the evening after I checked out, another $123.45 was on hold in my account from the hotel. I was going waiting for the hold to release, which 6 days later it still has not, and then 4 days after checking out, an ADDITIONAL $233.45 was charged to my account!! It was very challenging reaching someone to help me with the hotel, and then I was told sorry about that- it could take 7 days to return the money to your account. These erroneous charges have held up all the cash I had in my checking account and created a very serious hardship for me. I will not use Expedia again-not worth the hardship of paying twice.will not stay at a Springhill Suites again. Its now been 6 days after my stay and I'm still navigating the consequences of the transaction. I don't trust this company and the minimum was done to try to fix the situation. If $369 of their assistant managers checking account was taken from her due to an error, I feel like she would care. Bus since this was my money, not theirs, I did not get the impression they cared. No receipts or emails ever backed up the charges...just random charges made after I left.

It was fine. Little hard to get in and you really have to watch if you are going during a game at PNC park as roads get closed down. Had to have go go gadget arms to reach the toilet paper.

The location is unbeatable, close to many restaurnts by the river and great walks and views of Pittsburg.

Great location near PNC Park. Friendly and helpful staff, rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. Conveniently located near a hop on hop off bus stop to tour the city.

We were attending a Pirates baseball game. The hotel was across the street from the stadium which made it so convenient. SpringHill Suites did everything to make our stay perfect.

The hotel is conveniently located next to the baseball stadium and the football stadium. The area is lovely with a river walk close by and some walkable dinning options.

If you are heading to Pittsburgh for a game at PNC, this is the place to be! It is across the street from the park and you are walking distance to lots of food, shops, museums and the Roberto Clemente bridge and park.

We very much liked the property. Would have given it an excellent instead of good, but for the following 2 reasons: 1. We did not receive any housekeeping for our 3 day visit. We did get clean towels when we asked for them. 2. No room service available even though it was advertised both online and in the room as being available.

Was a complete let down the entire trip! The hotel is nice for the area, including the beds, rooms, and restaurant! First of all, the room could have been cleaned better! Second and most important, I paid $27 for parking and with construction on the lot I was left with no place to park! To top that off, they started construction on the lot being redone early and woke us up before 7am. A HUGE disappointment! Second, the “free” breakfast offered was only oatmeal! There was a bus full of people and lobby filled with people staying which is understandable being a hotel! But there was NO, food but oatmeal and I don’t eat oatmeal! There was 1 lady working on the breakfast and was doing her best, but someone should have been there to help her! So we paid for parking and had no place to park, plus had to go elsewhere just to eat breakfast due to there being no food and people lined up at each station waiting for food to be prepared! A complete let down in so many different ways.

Mostly a nice staff and would stay here for a lower rate. The service for breakfast was horrible. Staff wouldn't address anything at the breakfast bar that was broken and was told "To get over it, that's the way it is."

The hotel feels a little dated/tired, and the restaurant was closed due to a maintenance emergency most of the time we were there. But, the bed was comfy, the room was clean, and the location can’t be beat.

Nice staff. Great restaurant. Perfect if you are going to a Pirates game.

Right across the street from PNC Park. Area is lovely with lots of restaurants sports and shopping nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful and house restaurant, So Ho was great! We had three meals there each one better than before.
