Wi-Fi didn't work. There was a cigar butt left on the window sill. Breakfast was out on time. And staff was nice and noted our complaints.

You get what you pay for. Awful stench in our room and not clean. Property itself was rundown and dirty. Not enough towels were given to us and we had to wait all morning into the afternoon to get what we asked for. Door to enter from the back was broken so anyone could enter. Security and safety risk. Again, if you are desperate for a place to stay and want to save a few bucks, this is the place to stay, maybe. On the positive side, the staff were nice. They were handling many issues at once with many upset customers from what I saw.

I called the property about 1:30 pm to see if I could come by and register and then get my key later in the evening because we had plans for the evening. At first the lady said yes. Then she put me on hold and came back a couple of minutes later and told me no. I asked her why not and she said because the computer might charge me for an extra day because I’m checking in before 3. My debit card was charged for the room somewhere around 7:30 pm. We did not arrive at the hotel until approximately 9:30 or 9:45 pm. There was a man and lady working at the front desk. The man asked her if she could handle my check in as he needed to leave the front desk and go meet with a police officer. She said she could and he left. When she pulled up my reservation, she told me that it had been cancelled. I asked her who cancelled it and she said she didn’t know. I asked her why my debit card was already charged if my reservation was cancelled. No explanation. The man came back and he said they had a room with a king size bed. I told him I reserved a queen suite because there were 4 adults. He said well just rent another room. I asked him why I should rent another room when I had already been charged for a queen suite. He tried to blame Expedia because they only send over what is available. I pulled up my reservation and showed him where it said a queen suite with 4 adults. He said all they had available was 2 double beds. Then he and the lady started helping another guest.

The hotel was not well maintained. We had to switch rooms because the bed wobbled too much to sleep on. There was trash and towels in the hallways. The landscaping was overgrown. The hallways were half painted. Overall, not a great stay. The price, however, reflected that.
