The doors on the side of the hotel stayed unlocked as well as the door to the pool remained open. It allowed a few of the locals that I spoke to in the pool to come in and swim without being guest at the hotel. The pool and the breakfast area was packed everyday and probably had freeloading locals at breakfast as well. This did not make us feel safe that anyone was allowed to roam the hotel.

The room was extremely humid the A/C barely pushed air out, the elevator stopped working and with a new born child having to carry 3 flights of stairs and your stuff you can only use one specific side to go up 3 flights of stairs which is on the opposite side of where we were staying. the tv completely just turned off on us and never worked again, we informed the desk they tried to fix the tv while we were in our room eating instead of just bringing a new tv they wanted to moves us rooms at 1am I told them no we will be checking out in the morning and it’s been 4 business days and I still haven’t received my deposit back.

Not as new as the pictures make it seem. Pool was out of service. We were looking forward to enjoying the hot tub but guess a hot bath will have to do. Wish there was something on the site with the pool information. Overall a little high for what it is and what they have to offer.

This LA Quinta in Lubbock, TX had secondary doors that did not lock. At all! The TV never worked during my 5 day stay, took 2 days to get a blow-dryer, and some light bulbs were out. The TV was never repaired, or the lights. This hotel had 10 -15 plus tanker trucks parked along the road next to the hotel every night and as a women traveling alone we felt very unsafe. Requests for a different room on a higher floor room were never meet. I asked several times to speak with Mgt. And NOTHNG!

The hotel was fine. Folks working there were great. It would have been awesome if Hotels.com would have updated the listing the folks at this La Quinta told us they sent in about the pool being out of order. It has not been open since December and we would not have stayed here if we knew there was no pool. That is why we picked it, so our kids could swim. TV reception was pretty bad too. Channels were quite fuzzy.

Booked a room for the weekend because it was advertising and indoor pool and hot tub because my daughter loves to swim. The pool was under construction when we arrived. Talked to the front desk and said that since we booked through expedia then they were respomsible for the misinformation. Tried to call expedia about a refind and to change hotels but could not speak to anyone directly. Do not book at la quinta and do not use expedia to book.

Elevator stopped working first day - no urgency to repair even after 3 days - breakfast buffet was always empty - staff disinterested. Bathroom was borderline on cleanliness (will spare details). Will never go back - You think they may have offered a voucher or something - crickets. Bad news - beware.

Guest were coming from the pool into the hallway and into the elevator leaving a very wet floor. Bathroom baseboard was damaged. Someone had a dog that barked for an hour and kids upstairs kept running around even at 1am in the morning.

I liked the location, but the rooms and property were not kept up but just surfaced cleaned. Staff gave away my 2nd room so instead of being next to each other we were 6 rooms down. Pool was out of order and thats the reason I picked that hotel. The coffee was good but breakfast was very lacking and not good.

It is very filthy and smells terrible. We couldn’t even sleep in our beds because of stains and hair we found. We only stayed one night and had to because we couldn’t find another place. Very disgusting and disturbing on how the pictures look vs what it truly looked like. I will not recommend staying here.

I thought all the bad Motel 6's were gone. Looks like they have all be reincarnated here. Our room was dirty. The extra chair was broken and propped up by a random table. The fire doors on the exit on our floor were broken off of the doors. No one answered the front desk phone so we could inquire about switching rooms. We just hunkered down for the night and left as soon as we woke up - the breakfast was a disaster. Woun'tbe staying here ever again.

This hotel is disgusting. The bathroom was filthy with mildew and urine stains. The condition was much worse than the photos suggested, and nobody at Hotels.com or at La Quinta has addressed my concerns. I wanted to check out and be refunded but was stuck.

The property was dirty. Floors needed to be mopped from the lobby all the way into and including the elevator. The floor in the elevator was never mopped the entire four days of our stay. The walls looked like a low bid paint job was completed in the whole facility. Areas where items are on the wall were painted around and obviously not removed or well masked. Our TV was full of snow and was tiny as if someone had replaced the one that was there with an older model. Overall just a tacky property we will not return and will seek other accommodations elsewhere on our next visit.

The facility is not clean. Floor in bathroom sticky. Room carpet was not clean as expected. Bathroom in general was not clean. The breakfast area was horrible. Counters not wiped off after people spilled food. Outside entrance had cigarette butts littered over the ground. We stayed three nights, never had trash basket in room emptied or any towel service. I have stayed at La Quintas before and been pleased but will not be back here at this location ever. Not sure if I will stay at another La Quinta.

Our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The faucet in the bathtub was partially hanging off wall. The toilet roll holders were rusty. The floor in the bathroom was sticky and appeared as though it had not been cleaned in a while. For the amount of money that I paid for the room, I have paid much less for a lot nicer accommodations.

The property was rocked away from the highway so not as much traffic sounds. The room itself was pretty well insulated, could sometimes hear neighbors, but only if everything was super quiet. Some noise during the day from the upper floors, but settled once night came. The room itself was decently clean. The AC worked well and all the mini appliances worked as well. We had a light go out near the end of our stay, but overall a comfortable stay.

No Wi-Fi for the 10 days I stayed. No trash can in my room. Channel on TV sucked. Elevator was down for a night at well. All in all it provided a place to stay but for the price I believe it should have been better suited.

I didn't like the fact that the front desk lady at night was very very rude and unprofessional she doesn't need to be rolling her eyes at customers it's a sure way to not have someone not come back and she double charged me and then rudely told me you will get it back whenever I leave I would like to have someone reach out to me asap

We were given a room that was already occupied. We opened the door around 1 am and the tv was on and we saw other people's belongings. This could have really gone wrong! I had read this in previous reviews regarding this hotel but decided to book the room anyway (didn't think it was going to happen to us). Some of the public areas, like elevators, need cleaning. Overall, this hotel needs better management!

Check in lady said that there was a $50 deposit which would be released immediately upon check out. She neglected to say that it could take up to 10 business days to get back on our card. When I said that she low toned said yes that’s true. Felt like she was trying to pass a quick one over us. Then the lady who checked us out was a witch. I asked for a receipt she replied “ we have your email on file.” Then looks around me and asks if the next person was checking out? I said what about my receipt? Her reply was “ I told you we had your email didn’t I ?” I was dismissed and to date I have yet to get my receipt. You cannot treat people who are paying for your services like this and expect them to come back again.

The staff was extremely rude the entire trip. We had asked if house keeping would be able to bring us clean tiwels and there response was we dont have anymore. Housekeeping didnt even clean our room even though we didnt have a do not disturb sign on our door. The room from the beginning was dirty. We were told we would have to talk to the front desk for help with this issue. Talking to the frint desk didnt help either, as they had left another woman at the front desk, and didnt come back until she had left. We will not return to this establishment in the future.

Everything was bad from start to finish....our room had people in it, 2 other guests checking in after us had same thing happen to them!! still waiting for a clean room at 130a, got in it and it felt so dirty..shampoo was used, asked for more towels the next morning, made us go get them, room was never cleaned while we were there, nothing restocked--I never write reviews but this was the worst place I have ever been. No offer was made to discount us for all of the issues!!!

Quiet, clean and economical, perfect for a quick overnight stay. I have stayed at this property many times and have never been disappointed. Property is a little off the “beaten path”which is a plus to me. Will be using this property in future for my weekend getaways to Lubbock, Texas.

The mattress, walls, ceiling, & bathtub were stained or just dirty. The breakfast was almost nothing, they were out of eggs & coffee (very slow to restock), and had no fruit at all. Elevator was disgusting. Landscaping - about 1/4 to 1/2 of it was dead or dying. No, no, no. Do NOT stay here!

We usually like staying here but it was not a good experience this time. The breakfast had hard biscuits and apples were the only fruit. The coffee bar did not have creamer. When we asked if there was creamer in the back, she said they were out. This was at 7:30 in the morning! We went to Dutch Bros and when we came back there was creamer. The room did not have a hairdryer and the water for the shower took forever to warm up.
